Beautiful home! We had a wonderful time fishing, floating. And kayaking. Doug was overly accommodating. We will definitely come back!

Family trip

Such a cute house. Our family of 6 stayed here comfortably for 5 nights. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The kitchen is all brand new updated. A nice touch was the coffee (pods and ground) already there. Cute house to come back to each evening after exploring nearby cities.

Wonderful for floating off the dock

This was just what we had in mind. The swimming and floating was easy and right off the large deck and dock. The house was very clean and nice. It might be nice to have shade like an umbrella for the back patio table because it was very hot and sunny in the afternoon and evening while grilling. Everything was wonderful though. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant and charming home

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at this restored farmhouse. It is clean, welcoming, and included everything that we needed. I also run a rental property so I know exactly what the house should and shouldn’t have and I was impressed. The host is very responsive and friendly. We knew that the lake had been drained so we enjoyed the view and peaceful setting. We would recommend it for sure!

Nice property on beautiful lake!

The house and property is very nice. The dock on the lake is perfect for kids to swim off of or parents to relax and pretend to fish. We had a great time! We came in July so it was pretty hot and humid, but the water was nice.

Perfect location!

Cute house! Management was awesome! Lots of sleeping options. Minutes from New Braunfels & Seguin. On the water, just steps to the dock on the lake. The two girls each caught a fish & were so excited! Perfect place for Spring Break with the family! Thank you!

Absolutely lovely property with plenty of room.

My family enjoyed the outdoor space it had everything we needed and more. The indoor space was clean and comfortable. Overall we couldn’t have asked for more. We all had such a great time.

Perfect cottage on the lake!

This place was a dream! We really enjoyed our stay. Doug, the host, was very accommodating. There is a splash pads for kids which is a must have on the lake. It’s a charming and beautiful home. Very serene and cool. Eye distance from the ski jump so you can watch the ski jumpers. We even brought our fishing rods and caught a few perch and catfish in the early morning while sipping on our coffee on the deck. I reached out to Doug for a quick question and he was very responsive. I’ve rented a few properties on lake McQueeny and this definitely tops our list. We will be back!

Farmhouse charm

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully updated farmhouse. The views are spectacular, and the location is convenient and easy to access. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and found everything we needed. There was plenty of seating outside to enjoy the weather and watch the boats go by. We would be happy to stay here again!

Relaxed at the lake

We had a wonderful quick and relaxing getaway to the lake. The house is cute and all we needed for the 4 of us. Doug was very helpful accommodating when I requested a late checkout We will be back for sure!

Magical Farmhouse on exclusive Lake McQueeney

Stop looking. STAY HERE. The owner is a pleasure to communicate with and happy to answer any questions. He is so friendly. We were immediately charmed by this beautiful home when we pulled into the driveway and it just got better and better from there. The interior has been refurbished with love by someone who clearly knows good design. The furnishings are rustic farmhouse, but very stylish and uncluttered. It all flows well and goes with the lake vibe. The kitchen is brand new, the perfect size, and stocked with all the cooking gear anyone might need. And then... the million dollar lakefront view. It is stunning. During the day, we rarely left the amazing yard, dock, and upper deck lounge areas. The kids loved swimming right off the dock. We had a great time using the owner's kayaks around the lake. Overall, the property was the perfect size for two families of four with young kids. We were comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The owner has serious attention to detail regarding both home design and hospitality. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We booked the Farmhouse on McQueeney based on it's location, primarily, being right on the lake. There were four of us in our family, two adults and two above 18 kids. There was plenty of room. We spent most of our time outdoors and in the water! I would definitely stay here again!

Great place with amazing location

This place was perfect for a relaxing weekend on the lake. Doug was quick with communication and very helpful with the house. We have zero complaints about the house. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great weekend stay!!!

Doug was responsive and the place was perfect for our family. Perfect for anyone looking to relax on the water and enjoy all this place has to offer!! We were a little bummed the slide that is shown in the pics online was removed on the water deck, but it was hardly missed given there was a kayak and splash pad included at the house that kept the kids playing for hours. Highly recommend!! We will definitely be back!!!

A wonderful stay!

The house was very cute and clean. It was easy to get to. The kitchen was open and easy to navigate. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of room for all our guests. The outside deck was my favorite place to hang out. You can watch the ducks all day. The big splash pad was so fun! I will definitely stay here again. Thanks, Doug and Christine!

There is great swimming out in front of our dock (9 feet deep). The water is cool all year long and the lake is constant level. We loved the house as it reminds us of farmhouse setting but still on the lake

Completely remodeled house (including kitchen and baths) in 2019 helped to make it a great place to get away while still having the comforts of home
