Nuestra propiedad frente al mar con encanto ofrece una bonita terraza con una espectacular vista de la arena blanca y las aguas azules del océano Atlántico mientras disfruta y se relaja en nuestra piscina privada de borde infinito. Rose Nest es su casa de vacaciones perfecta para escaparse con vistas al océano. Todas las habitaciones están perfectamente decoradas y con aire acondicionado con "unidades de división". Las habitaciones ofrecen ropa de cama suave y camas muy cómodas. También ofrece dos baños cómodos.

The views were amazing. The beach access easy. The beach was very private and clean. Iza, the host was super-helpful (even coming over on Christmas Day to help). The property was as advertised, and everything met our expectations. This is a place we would visit again.

Our host was excellent! She welcomed us and responded very promptly to our requests (e.g. a new toaster). She came right over when we couldn't figure out how to open the dryer door! The building was modern and very clean. The gathering space was smaller than we had anticipated the the kitchen table was good for games. The outdoor space was THE BEST! You walk out the gate and you are right on the beach.

Property was great, felt safe and beautiful views! Hosts were attentive to our needs and quick to reply with any questions or concerns we had! Our area had a power outage for majority of one day and host was very apologetic and sent recommendations on places to visit during that time which was much appreciated. Did have an issue with outside/downstairs room AC unit but they were quick to resolve the issue to the best of their ability while we were still on site. Very happy with our accommodations and stay!

The host was very attentive. The place was beautiful and well maintained. Be careful of the waves, they can get get pretty intense on windy days but it is a short walk or drive to the lighthouse lagoon.

We loved this property. Perfect for a family. We loved the local fauna (yes there were some ants, but its the tropics)Searched for the neighborhood iguanas everyday. The neighborhood is a little run down but my understanding is that H Maria hit Arecibo hard. We grew to love the area and your property.Special thanx to Isa for her help and being so welcoming.

Puerto Rico Vacation!

When planning a family trip to Puerto Rico we thought The Rose Nest would be a perfect location to stay and we were right! It is centrally located which allows you to see the whole island without having to stay in multiple places. The Rose Nest was clean, comfortable, and so relaxing! We absolutely loved it!

Beautiful view

The property has the most incredible view. The beds were comfortable and Elizabeth, property manager, is so sweet and helpful. Yhe beach is really clean and hardly anyone on it. Plenty of kitchen needs and coffee was provided as well. Cooler and beach chairs were a bonus. Some wishes: more curtains in master bedroom, very bright; hand rails for older adults in the pool, and a walk way to the beach as it was hard on the feet because sand had rocks and other debris.

Beautiful beach

We were a bit nervous coming into the property because it is located in a rundown neighborhood. Literally there are cars on the street with no tires and abandoned houses everywhere. The house was clean and the view was amazing, we were right on the beach. The lighthouse Beach was only about 2 minutes from where we were and it was a protected cove that was much safer to swim in then the each in front of the house. The carousel bakery was a short walk and we had breakfast there every morning. The owners were very nice. Overall our stay was good we just wish the location of the property was closer to a nicer town, it was a very long travel to go anywhere. One thing we really liked about the property is all the linen smelled really clean and the house was modern.

I wanted to love this place, but there were a few issues. First, we had a breaker continually popping so the air would not work in one room. They came and fixed it. We had refrigerator/freezer that stayed between 45-50 degrees, and would not get colder. Good thing there was a separate freezer that we froze ice bottles to keep frig cool for medications (which sort of tells me they knew about the refrigerator problem). The house could use a little minor sprucing up, like attaching wall lights that are falling off, touching up paint on the kitchen cabinets, and in the basement room, etc. I mean, it was 450 plus a night, so this place should reflect the price. Evidentally the electric in Puerto Rico is substandard, which is why they should have solar, a generator, or at least a few battery operated fans that are charged and ready to go. I will say, the host Iza, and owner Eduardo, we very responsive to issues, and the did arrange for a rental fridge for the last part of the week. They tried to fix things as quickly as they could. The yard, pool, and beachfront were amazing, so that offset some of the issues.

Before our stay, I had concerns about a negative review that I saw on Google Maps so I reached out to the host. The owners (husband and wife) called me personally to discuss and explain this negative review. They addressed all concerns and texted additional photos and videos. Everything they said turned out to be true and the property was great. The house is centrally located between Old San Juan and Crash Boat Beach which I highly recommend visiting both (1 hour drive). The appearance of the neighborhood appears a little run down but is very safe and within walking distance to a bakery/convenience store and sandwich shop, and a short drive down the road there are a few great restaurants. The home is located on a beautiful private beach with a great outdoor space with a great pool. The space was very comfortable for our seven person family (adult children).Three main bedrooms inside the home with a fourth bedroom/bathroom located outside, below the pool area. Cold air conditioning in all four bedrooms. Host Iza was very sweet and made checkin/checkout very easy. Pool guy showed up one morning as scheduled and did a great job with the cleaning. Our family had an amazing time and highly recommend this property.

Wonderful peaceful hideaway

My husband and I travelled with my parents to spend a long weekend at Rose Nest in January. We were looking for a beautiful peaceful warm weather escape, and this absolutely nailed it. The property and view from the house are wonderful. The house and pool were very clean. The bedrooms each have individual AC units so sleeping is very comfortable. With the back and front doors to the house open, you get a decent cross breeze in the living space. The kitchen was well appointed - we had everything that we needed to cook and fully enjoy the home. The beach in front of the house is expansive and pretty private. Although the surf was too high outside the house to swim, there is a protected cove about a half mile walk down the beach with flat and crystal clear water that made for a great swimming spot. The village of Jarealito is tiny and quiet but has a small bakery/market, sandwich shop, and small restaurant within just a few minutes walk of the house. The neighborhood felt very safe. Within a few minutes driving from the house, there are more options for restaurants (many right on the water for incredible views while you dine). Aside from visiting local beaches and restaurants, there isn’t necessarily a lot “to do”, but if you’re in the market for a relaxing beach getaway, this is it. Note: communication from property manager didn’t come til day of check-in, but arrival and departure were smooth. The listing has a washer/dryer, but it costs extra to use it.

Our flight to PR was delayed two days due to a blizzard, communication with our host was immediate and flexible. We had four adult children and four elders, the space was clean and enjoyable, especially the pool, deck, and proximity to the beach. This was sent to owner. No response back. This is what happened yesterday: At first i noticed like two in my room and then i went to shower and saw like 50 by the light. Then i opened the door to the bathroom and saw like 100 in there. Both the outside door and my room door were shut. There were many flies in the sink and toilet. I cant even sleep in my room tonight This is the room my granddaughter was staying in. Iza is a wonderful manager and she is very helpful but this issue was , I assume beyond her range. I was very careful choosing this property for vacation . But the backed up toilet and the bug situation are totally unacceptable. Iza had the plumbers here immediately! But the insect situation and the solution given are totally beyond acceptable. All sleeping arrangements had to be changed and it was not a pleasant situation. Nevertheless I want to compliment you on a very clean and otherwise comfortable accommodation. I sent many photos to Iza of the bug problem and I look forward to some type of courtesy compensation.
