This home is not your ordinary vacation house! Brezzasole is a piece of Aruba’s history known as an original "Cunucu" house (Aruban farmhouse). Enjoy staying in this unique home situated in a tranquil setting with your own private pool while being minutes away from popular tourist destinations like Palm, Arashi, & Eagle beaches. Brezzasole sits on a large lot with plenty of space to relax or play. Enjoy the sunset views and breezes with your favorite beverage and feel secluded while just minutes from the action.

You may have seen Breezasole on HGTV's Caribbean Life during our house search in 2017. A lot has changed since then. The name Brezzasole (roughly translates to "Sun Breeze") and is in keeping with the constant breezes and beautiful sunsets experienced from the property. The home is an original, historic, Aruban farmhouse with extremely thick exterior walls made from stones and packed dirt, which keeps the home cooler inside. The design also optimizes open air living by allowing the sea breeze to flow through the entire house. Renovations have been completed to create all the modern comforts while still embracing the charm of the home's 100 plus years historical character. Brezzasole is a unique piece of Aruban architectural history, not just another beach house. It is also a constant work in progress and a beautiful experience,

There is air conditioning throughout, a modern kitchen, cable, wifi, hot water, and additions to the original structure such as the large master bedroom suite that opens to the pool and gardens. The garden areas have beautiful, mature palms and flowering trees as well as wide open spaces for families to play. The property sits above the main roads and a saliña so it is quiet, as well as private. The beautiful western exposure views extend to the high rises of Palm Beach and provide amazing sunsets. Brezzasole is comfortable and spacious inside with beautiful outdoor living spaces that add to its overall charm.

My sixth stay at Brezzasole, so that speaks for itself. We keep coming back because the house is so charming (accurately described in the listing), the pool is delightful, property is private and feels very safe, close proximity to beaches as well as Palm and Eagle Beaches and the hosts do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The few times we’ve had any issues at the house the property managers have responded quickly and resolved the problems right away. We are already planning our next trip.

My family and I recently stayed at Kamay 22 and had a fantastic experience. Christy and Mark, the owners, checked in with me before our arrival and connected us with the property management company, which made things easy. They also recommended the car rental agency we used throughout the week.The home was well-maintained and stocked with everything we needed—from beach chairs and snorkel gear to pool floats, coolers, a full range of cooking spices, and plenty of kitchen tools. It's just a short drive to the Palm Beach area and nearby coffee spots. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and our kids adored a friendly stray cat they nicknamed Mittens.I’d highly recommend this property to families—it truly had a little bit of everything.

Good Location

Overall we had a nice stay. Home is definitely more "rustic" than was expected. It's in a safe area and convenient to beaches and restaurants. Had a few issues during our stay. Owners are very responsive and communication was great.

Aruba Excellence

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brezzasole! The property has the perfect blend of classic, island charm with the space and amenities our family needed. The house is so close to everything, yet the time spent at the pool felt very private. The nights were quiet, which meant restful, restorative sleep.It was easy to get to restaurants, the pastry trailer, and there are excellent grocery stores nearby to get food for meals at home.Our hosts were wonderful and very responsive to our questions and needs. It will be a vacation spot we cherish for a long time!

5th Stay at Brezzasole, Hope to Return Soon

I love Aruba. Why do I keep retuning to Brezzasole: 1) Christy and Mark are great hosts. They conscientious about conveying any information regarding the property and how it might impact your stay. I feel like they really want you to love your stay at Brezzasole and welcome any suggestions, concerns and feedback for how anything about your stay could be improved. Additionally, the property management company responds quickly to any issues, questions or concerns. The VRBO listing accurately describes the property. 2) I love the location. I would describe it as a residential area away from the noise and bustle of ATVs and tour buses (I like hearing the roosters crowing in the am—and throughout the day) but very easy access to restaurants, shopping and bustle of Palm and Eagle beach as well as great snorkeling at Tres Tripas and Boca Catalina (Christy and Mark proved snorkels and masks at the house) and lounging at Arashi beach. The sunrises from the back window and sunsets from the pool (a delight if you are not a great ocean swimmer like me) are beautiful. I love watching the banana quits and hummingbirds visiting the aloe plants when they are blooming. Note: I would definitely recommend renting a car if you stay here!3) Located adjacent to one of the main roads on the island, it is easy to get to markets at Super Food or Super Do It as well as pick us at Ng Markey right down the street. Easy access to the many wonderful places to explore in Aruba

Great quiet / private home in Aruba

My family and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday. The house is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of all the hotel high-rises but yet close enough to enjoy everything on the island. The private pool and views and gardens made it feel like we had our own private getaway. We would definitely recommend this place!

Quiet and Peaceful

Lovely stay in residential community outside the energy of Aruba's beach area. As described in the listing. Landscaping attracted birds and lizards, peaceful to watch and listen to in the morning while sitting by the pool. Well-equipped kitchen. Many thoughtful amenities for the traveler. November IS rainy, though!!!

A personal hideaway

We loved our little cunucu house! It was a particularly HOT week in Aruba but the house kept us cool, comfy, and entertained when we weren't running around the island. Our kids (20 and 16) were fine in the small bedrooms and we made the most of the pool, which is kept very clean. The property management team was great as were the owners, checking in. Both really responsive. Will definitely consider a return trip!

We absolutely LOVED our visit to Aruba. Brezzasole property was exactly as described. It is a little piece of paradise - comfortable, in a great location and safe neighborhood! My family of 4 was very pleased. Sitting by and relaxing in the pool was my favorite. Marco, the property manager, was very helpful and accommodating. The hosts were amazing and we will be back! 4th Time Visit

The house is just as described. Love having coffee by the pool in the am and something more at sunset. Neighborhood feels safe and safe ff the path of buses and atvs. Easy access to Palm, Eagle and Arashi beaches; grocery shopping at Super Food or Super Do It. Would definitely recommend having a car.

Our family of three had a fun stay at this historic house. It’s in a private and relaxing location and only a short drive to the beach. The house was well appointed with everything needed for the beach, even snorkeling equipment. We enjoyed all the birds and even saw the small burrowing owls at night. Sun and Breeze....Fantastic Stay at Brezzasole

Such a unique opportunity to stay in a Cunucu. It's older and rustic inside but the owners have made many improvements. We had everything we could possibly need with this house. The pictures and description of house is accurate. The pool is wonderful and we even had daily visits from the neighbor dog which made us happy since we missed our dog while we were on vacation. Close to some of best beaches and easy to navigate the island by car. Recommended restaurant includes Olde Cunucu House for Aruban cuisine. We had the best week of family time, memories, snorkeling, golf, pool time, eating and drinking. We can't recommend this place enough. Christy and Mark are great hosts and were easily accessible via VRBO. The property management team was also wonderful.

A wonderful retreat.

What a wonderful stay we had. The owners were so responsive prior and during our stay - always available to answer our questions. The house was charming and had all that we needed for our stay from a well-appointed kitchen to beach chairs and cooler. The pool and garden area were fabulous and very private. We felt totally alone and very safe. The location was convenient to the beaches and airport. We had no issues or concerns during our stay. Check in and check out were fast and easy. We would return again to this home for our next visit.

This was our 2nd stay at Brezasole. It was a beautiful 10 days. From beginning to end the communication was fantastic. Any questions you have about home, entertainment, restraunts or Aruba were answered by homeowners. They make you feel secure about your stay on the property and Aruba. The home is private, and It has all the essentials you need while on vacation. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is amazing. Brezzasole is close to everything your looking for. We definitely will return to Brezzasole for a 3rd stay. Thank you for making our vacation complete. Biba Dushi❤️

Absolutely lovely. EXCEEDED expectations.

This place was in a quiet neighborhood close to THE BEST (in our opinion) beaches in the island. The house is much bigger than we expected. It is equipped with everything you need (and more)! If you’re coming soon, just know we have left A TON of sunscreen. The pool and back patio is fabulous at sunset and sunrise. If we ever come back to Aruba, this is where we will want to stay. As a bonus, the owners are beyond amazing. Don’t hesitate to book this one.

Third Time Wonderful Stay

This was my third time staying at Brezzasole so that should speak for itself. The house is charming, comfortable, private and feels very safe. Easy access to beaches, numerous restaurants, and shopping. The hosts and rental managers have always been very responsive and anxious to make sure all is well.

Location, location, location!

Wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood and 5 minute drive to all our favorite beaches, grocery stores and restaurants. We stayed at this house last year and came back and stayed twice as long. this year. That should tell you how great this place is!

Great property!

This was perfect for our family of 3 (and little dog). The house is clean, spacious and very charming. The owners have thought of everything you might need. We loved the pool. I’d highly recommend staying here!! You do need a car to get to the beach, but not a big deal because the beaches, restaurants etc. are only 5 minutes away.

2nd Visit Just As Great As the First

Brezzasole is a charming and comfortable house set in a residential neighborhood but just minutes away from beaches, restaurants and shopping and nightlife in Palm Beach. Last year's visit was all adults, this year we came with our 3 grandchildren (ages 4, 6, and 8). Needless to say, the pool was a huge hit. The property is well maintained and matches the VRBO description. We needed to call the property managers for a problem with the front door. They responded right away and fixed the issue within a couple of hours. All in all, Brezzasole is a delightful, relaxing, and beautiful place to stay and experience Aruba

We are Christy and Mark. Originally from Georgia and California, USA, we moved our family of three to Aruba in 2011 to teach at an international school. In 2017, we bought our lovely traditional "Cunucu" home and appeared in an episode of HGTV's "Caribbean Life" shortly after. We are thankful to be able to share our family home in Aruba with people from around the world. Aruba is a wonderful place. Come and experience all that it has to offer.

Truly historic: A 2021 research discovered that the original house is over 100 years old. Our home is a unique find with a double lot in such a beautiful location. Brezzasole is a work in progress, needing renovation and updates to take full advantage of its beauty and views, though quite cozy and very comfortable with all the amenities needed. As our Aruban neighbors say, we are on this journey, "poco poco" (slowly). We are turning Brezzasole into our Caribbean dream experience and enjoy sharing the experience with others.

Breezes make our home unique. Whether day or night, you'll enjoy our elevated property breezes, which are not always available in other properties or other parts of Aruba.

We enjoy opening the house to take advantage of these breezes while relaxing in our beautiful gardens and refreshing pool. It overlooks popular Palm Beach yet feels so private and peaceful. The name we gave our home is "Brezzasole," which roughly translates to "sun breeze" due to the constant breeze that sweeps over the property and the amazing sunsets viewed from the poolside garden.

Discover the original design after following the thick walls before finding the add-ons. The second bathroom was the first upgrade we made. We truly love our home and hope you do too.
