Sleeps up 6 comfortably. 3 queen beds. Available spots to set up a blow up mattress.
Coming into town late? That's fine! Door open key inside.

Close to the hospital yet still in the country. Take hwy u to Aspirus for a quick 5 min Drive. Also snowmobile trails and room to park them. Minutes from annual snowmobile races and pond hockey tournament. Minutes from Art in The Park. Close to Granite Peak, about 6 mile -10 minute easy drive on hwy 29 or hwy 51. We are 2 miles from Menards area. Easy access to hwy 51 or hwy 29.

There is room for 2 blow up mattresses--we have 2 available. All floors wood so please treat nice.

This is a property with a quiet guest house with deck to watch deer and nature in an upscale neighborhood.

Main floor has 2 queen beds and couch. [TOTAL 5 sleep spots]

When you walkup stairs you will find a TV area with couch, pull out single couch, room for 2 blow up mattresses, chairs, kitchen with bar stools, coffee pot, microwave, gas stove, fridge and deck to look out into the woods or smoke. There is also a bedroom with ONE queen bed. [TOTAL 7 person sleep spots upstairs using blow up mattresses]

There is enough bedding and pillows comfortably for 8 people. Also pack and play in closet is available for child.

We offer free laundry and detergent in garage area. Unit has bedding, fridge, deck, kitchen items to cook and mixer/plates/cups/wine glasses/bowls/baking trays/utensils, foil, as well as paper towel, toilet paper, towels, shampoo, blow dryer and coffee.

ARRIVAL-when you arrive there are 2 houses. The smaller garage looking house to the left is the unit you are renting. Pull up to the unit and park in front of the garage or to the left of the garage!!

Hiking in Wausau

The place was a great location for my friends and I to stay for our hike. It had plenty of places to sleep and an open layout to hang out within the kitchen and living room area. Would recommend to anyone going to the area.

Great place to relax and sleep after skiing

We came up to ski and then relax afterwards. This location was less than 15 minutes from Granite Peak and downtown yet very peaceful and quiet. We had enough room to hang out after skiing before doing it all again the next day. Thanks!

Small unit very nicely furnished. What makes this a wonderful stay was the beautiful springtime creek view and no street noise. The owners were quick and easy to communicate with.

A great stay for a ski weekend, very close to Granite peak. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful and responsive, very grateful for them and the good rate as well for the stay.

Great property for a ski getaway as its in close proximity to granite peak.

A group of friends stayed from out of town for a concert at Whitewater music Hall which we highly recommend. This place had everything we needed and was a great bargain with more space compared to a hotel room that cost similar in the area. I highly recommend this rental Thanks

peaceful!

I think the hist lives in the bigger house on site and it is within 100 feet but still seems very private. it is a garage with a bedroom next to it and a couch in the entry. the rest of the living space is on the second floor. the second story deck looks out to the best trees. was some construction like vehicles around that got moved a bit but nothing that interfered with us. my 3 yeAR old just wanted to drag us constantlyto the tetherball or swing set up that is in the back yard of the rental. we slept on the upstairs bed with heads near footboard so we could see the trees out the window. a small storm came through and the resulting sounds in the trees were magic. you can hear some road noise but nothing major. fun cribbage board, but we forgot to bring cards. hopefully host can add when they read this review! would love to stay again if we ever come through. left a bottle of wine in fridge, if it was a welcome gift maybe something more local would have been more relevant, but it may just have been left over from last guests.

Everything went well -- property was explained accurately, plenty of room, clean -- had a great time! House was close to everything (10-15 min) yet outside of town with trees surrounding property. Owners obviously take care of the place and communicate very well. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Casual Snowboarding Stay

My friends and I rented this place for a long weekend while we went snowboarding at Granite Peak (15 mins away). It is a nice guest house on the property and was a great value. We managed to fit 8 people in it with people sleeping on couches and blow-up mattresses. Realistically, this property only fits 4 adults in beds (one queen bed and two single beds) but you can easily squeeze in more. We had trouble with the wifi the entire trip which was a little inconvenient. The kitchen was well stocked but missed a few essentials (a pair of scissors, baking sheets). The downstairs area also got pretty chilly at night even with the heat running. Overall, it was a good stay and we didn't spend a lot of time in the rental itself. It served our needs and would stay here again.

Thanks for the suggestions-being new to this we appreciate the feedback. There was a scissors/tape/charger/extension Cord/other odd and ends in the white cabinet upstairs in the kitchen area. There was a glass baking pan in with the kettles/pans-but I can also add a cookie sheet pan. Also the bed upstairs is a queen and bed downstairs is also a queen bed! As far as the coldness downstairs -yes we will most likely need to place an optional heater in the winter weather when days fall in negative or below zero temps! Thanks
