This 4-bedroom 2-bathroom home is located just 15 miles from the middle of Wausau, 10 miles from Granite Peak Ski Hill. This home comes fully furnished and ready for your weekend away! There are two bedrooms upstairs, one featuring a queen bed and the other featuring a twin bed. There is a full bath with a bathtub and shower upstairs as well as a fully furnished kitchen. Let's not forget our 4-season porch equipped with a gas fireplace to keep you warm and cozy during the winter months. The basement features two bedrooms, one with two double beds and the other room with a king size bed. Off of the bedroom with the king bed is the second bathroom. Outside you will find a playground set for the kids to enjoy and an outside entertaining area with a pergola and fire pit.

The home was exactly as listed. It happened sleet and snow during our stay. The property owners were kind enough to spread salt over the driving surfaces for our safety. It is rare to see that type of consideration. We would definitely stay here again.

The property has been nicely remodeled and had a lot of space for our group of 5 adults. We didn’t stay long but the beds were comfy and the hot showers were just what we needed. Host was very friendly. I would recommend this property for a family or large group.

Great home base for activities

Very comfortable clean house. Staying at the house with my spouse, children and older parents. We were in town for a larger family reunion, and the house was a nice place to return and relax at the end of the day. Nice quiet location, saw many deer out in the yard in the mornings.

Had a great stay at this property! Very clean and location was fantastic. Listing was also accurate and we appreciated the swing set on the property for our kids.

Great girls trip

This property was better than expected! We had a minor issue when we checked in and the property manager was immediately responsive and corrected the issue! We had a great time! Appreciated all the extra amenities such as contact case, tooth brushes, toiletries, zip lock bags, coffee ,creamer and so much more. Only thing I would do differently is bring a folding table for extra space for serving food. They had dry wood for a fire pit and seating around the fire was perfect!

Great little hideaway near Wausau

Great property tucked away behind the Rib River Ballroom near Wausau. House was well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Great four season room with a gas stove that heats the space in no time. Great communication with the property manager. Would absolutely book again.

Wonderful

The pictures for this home are very accurate, It's lovely! There is only room for four at the kitchen table and one bedroom does need an end table or luggage rack so that your things don't have to be on the floor. The porch with the electric woodburning stove is awesome. Our main complaint was in trying to contact the property manager about a couple of things and the manager never responded the entire time we were there. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to relax with your friends and family.

State bowling tournament

Had 10 guys up for state bowling place was nice and clean had everything we needed even had coffee for the guys in the morning. Definitely would recommend this as a place to stay for family’s and the group of guys that came up would stay again. Thanks

girls ski trip

The property was in a cute location near granite peak ski resort. it felt like we were in the middle of the woods while having a clean, nice house. The space fit our group well, and everyone said the beds were extremely comfortable. It was a wonderful experience and I hope we can visit again!

Picked this location based on a midpoint for my family to meet for our Christmas celebration. The property was perfect. Very spacious. The home was nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed to celebrate was made available to us. Little extra touches to accommodate anything we might have forgotten was provided. Nice sized refrigerator with ice maker. Bag of ice and ice packs. Extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. And extra blankets and pillows were made available. The heated porch proved to be a great place to congregate. The yard would have perfect if the weather had been warmer for a bonfire.

Stay was great! We were just there for a quick overnight but the host was communicative, check in was easy, and the house was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Ski vacation

Our stay was very nice. The house was clean and recently renovated. Check in was ok with the lock box but owner should leave a light on to make it a bit easier as well as more inviting when you show up after dark as it’s in a wooded area.Thank you and would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful house! Very clean.We loved our stay here. Had a small issue and the property manager took care of it right away. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Great place to stay! We would definitely book again but I really would appreciate a door on one of the downstairs bedrooms for privacy and also a larger bed than the twin in the upstairs bedroom. We had 4 couples and the couple that had that bedroom had to decide who has to sleep on the couch. Also the showers were slippery, so non slip shower mats would be great! Other than these easy to fix items the place worked out great for our getaway. Thanks again Sandy

Wonderful, relaxing, great place to stay.

This place is tucked away in the woods with lots of cleared area around the house to walk, sit outside or just enjoy nature. The house does have steps since it's a split level house. Lots of bedrooms, comfortable beds and loved the covered porch area. I would definitely rent again if I am ever in the area again.

Rb River Get away

Everything was beautiful about the property and as seen in the picture. WE enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night. The setting was very private and the beds were clean and comfortable, the only concern was the home had one 4 person high top table in the dining area, glad we noticed so we brought along an extra table and chairs for our family.

Great out of the way place.

My husband and 3 adult children stayed over July 4th and for a family event. The house was easy to find, large enough for everyone to have their own room, and a great 4 season room that we all hung out in. The only complaint would be the lack of furniture in a couple of bedrooms and we couldn't find a fire starter for the fire pit. We did pick one up and left it there for others to use. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place - would stay again!

Has to be the most well-appointed rentals I’ve experienced with no small detail forgotten. A bit awkward with the one lower room w/ two doubles without a door. And the room upstairs has room for another bed, or larger than a twin to accommodate even more sleepers. But overall, a great property! We’ll be back because our short stay didn’t allow us to fully appreciate the outdoor space!
