¡Bienvenido a las hermosas Black Hills!


Si esta es su primera vez en el área o su centésima, el área de Black Hills siempre ofrece cosas nuevas y emocionantes. PAMS Getaways es una de las 'nuevas' cosas. Un campamento de propiedad familiar local que ofrece cabañas de lujo y sitios de RV.


Nuestra cabaña de lujo ofrece una cocina completa, con refrigerador, microondas y estufa. Junto con un baño completo, con tocador, inodoro y ducha en cada cabina. Todas las cabañas cuentan con TV, reproductor de Blu-Ray y Wi-Fi. ¡Y para nuestros amigos de los vehículos eléctricos, un tomacorriente para automóviles eléctricos de 50/20 amperios justo afuera de la puerta de la cabina!

Como estamos ubicados a solo minutos de Custer City, es perfecto para aquellos que no desean estar dentro de los límites de la ciudad. El acceso al histórico sendero George S Mickelson (se requiere pase) y el aeropuerto del condado de Custer está a la vuelta de la esquina.


PAMS está perfectamente ubicado en la autopista US 385 entre el Parque Nacional Wind Cave al sur (aprox. 18 millas), el Parque Estatal Custer al este (aprox. 9 millas), el Monumento Nacional Jewel Cave al oeste (aprox. 15 millas) y por supuesto, el infame Monumento Nacional Mount Rushmore (aprox. 23 millas) y Crazy Horse Memorial (aprox. 9 millas) ambos al norte.

My teenagers absolutely loved the loft area to this place . They talked about it in a couple conversations even post vacation. The host was super easy to contact as we had communication on three differant occasions always prompt to answer.very close to Custer and all its restaurants and pretty close to all the cool things in the southern black hills Great place would definitely stay here again

Had fun at the Hideaway !!

Housing itself was great for 4 of us. The only thing that kind of startled us when we arrived was that several older independent campers were all around our beautiful cabin. Paul did explain to me that changes in other campgrounds had caused his campground to overflow - sounded reasonable !! Paul was very easy to visit with and had just became a new daddy; again ! We would stay there again, and the prices were within reason !!

Cute little place. Liked the kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom upstairs was a challenge with the low ceiling and ladder. Bed was comfortable. Suggest maybe replacing the metal bench with a small sofa or love seat. Bench was hard to sit on. Owner was friendly and responsive to our need for towels and such. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We loved our little cabin for the 3 nights we stayed! Paul the host was very kind and helpful. Perfect location for day trips to Custer, wind cave, jewel cave, mt Rushmore. It’s hard to find a place that fits a family of 5, our kids loved the loft. Highly recommend

Just what we needed

This cabin was the perfect for our long days out hiking and exploring. The kitchen is very roomy and allowed us plenty of space to prepared the majority of our meals. The cabin was a great refuge in the evenings; the beds were comfortable and the water heater was outstanding!

Everything about renting this property was easy. Can sleep 6, but there were only 3 of us. Perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking.

Nice cabin

The cabin was very nice and clean. The stairs to the loft were a bit to get used to but my kids didnt have any problems. It has dishes, glasses, cups, and pots and pans. Could of used more towels, but we made due. I didnt ask for more, so that's on me. Beds were comfortable. Could not get the AC to switch oer to "cool" mode. Didnt get terribly hot in the cabin with the windows open and fan on. The outside is right next to a RV park that looks to be long term stay. The people i spoke with at the RV site were super friendly. Would stay here again.

Clean “cabin” near Custer

We were spending a few days exploring Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. This place was perfect for what we needed; a place to sleep, shower, and make our meals. The kids loved the upstairs loft area. Property was quiet and not too far from town. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an updated, clean, and no-frills place to stay near Custer; if we ever return to the area for future trips, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

If Not For Location

Upon arrival our initial reaction was somewhat disturbing in that the cabins appear to be part of what can be described as a less than maintained small RV park. However the owner was very friendly and accommodating and our cabin very clean and as described. One issue while walking my small dog on a lease I was as approached by an unleased Great Dane type dog and as our dog is very cautionary around larger dogs I tried to pick my dog up. Before doing so the larger dog was at my feet and immediately atop my dog having her pinned down with its opened mouth around her neck. I yelled for the owner but had to shoved the larger dog off to the side and pickup my dog. Luckily my dog did not incur and bits.

Paul was a gracious host, he even shared fresh produce from his garden. The property was clean and everything and more than advertised on the app.

Nice apartment

The cabin was nice; however, the setting was misleading in the pictures. It was less than roomy outdoors and not picturesque. We never could find the fire pit

Frenchy's Hideaways (formerly PAMS Getaways) is perfectly situated on US Hwy 385 between Wind Cave National Park to the South (approx. 18 miles), Custer State Park to the East (approx. 9 miles), Jewel Cave National Monument to the West (approx. 15 miles) and of course the infamous Mount Rushmore National Monument (approx. 23 miles) and Crazy Horse Memorial (approx. 9 miles) both to the North.

Since we are located just minutes from Custer City, it is perfect for those not wanting to be in city limits. Access to the historical George S Mickelson trail (pass required) and the Custer County Airport is just around the corner.
