Amazing family vacation

We have been coming to Cinnamon Beach for the past 15 years. We’ve stayed in many condos here. However, this was absolutely one of the best! The view was to die for! Not only did we have awesome views of the ocean but we could see the golf course too! It was truly amazing! We will definitely be coming back again!

Awesome view….but

Room has awesome view of ocean and a couple of holes on golf course. The down side of this property is beach is way too shelly and large rocks make playing in surf impossible. Pools are also a good hike from room. Just not the place for our family.

Views of ocean and golf course were exceptional. Beds were clean and comfy. Walk to pool was a bit long and the smell of Pine Sol was strong for first couple of days. Directions and organization of stay from Cinnamon Beach Vacations was very professional.

The unit needs to be updated. The kitchen table is too small and the chairs showed a lot of wear. The bathrooms need updating. Toilets are too low. Extra storage in bedrooms, dresser. My sister stayed in a different unit in 400 which had every convenience of home. Well equipped with anything you would need. Their furniture was comfortable and their dining table sat 8. Definitely needed when traveling with family. We were given last minute notification about the beach entrance closures. We can appreciate protecting the dunes but this was probably in the planning for months and we should have been notified sooner.

Awesome View

Everything was great except the cleanliness of the unit. Smelly carpet in the bedrooms, dirty and stained. Filthy floors. The towels were stained, ripped and crappy. Walls and baseboards were stained and dirty. The deck floor was gross with dirt, ottomans were moldy. Deck Chairs had mold. Such a shame because the unit was really nice.

Disappointed

I will first start by saying the location of the unit to beach access is great & convenient. The communication leading up to our stay was also fast & helpful. The unit we stayed in was absolutely disgusting & extremely disappointing. It’s clear it has not been maintained. From carpet that is filthy & should be replaced, stained bed linens, stained bed board, a refrigerator that was on its last leg and barely cooled, the balcony floors had chunks of something on it, a check in book that had food & food stains all through out & just overall gross & rundown. Let’s not forget that they also had to replace our hot water heater at one point & did not have water for almost 2 hours with zero heads up. Just to be sure, I looked at other units in this building & both of them were not this disgusting. To be fair, the management did offer to move us but after we spent 5 days already there & it was a lot farther from where the rest of our family was. We decided to stay since we already suffered that long. My advice would be to really look at reviews & research before booking. We did NOT get what we paid for and frankly should be reimbursed.

You can get way better from other units of this property for your money

This unit (#463) should not be rented out and frankly, we would have liked to have been moved to another unit or given a refund to compensate for our negative experience and unexpected expenses we had to incur to make our stay inhabitable. We called the management company (Cinnamon Beach Vacations) and left a voicemail asking to discuss these issues to allow them the opportunity to respond to our concerns. Our call was never returned. The website description makes it sound great. The view is indeed spectacular. Now the actual experience: There was an overpowering musty smell in the whole unit which was our first clue. We had to sleep through the first night coughing and with headaches (mold/ mildew is not your friend). Maintenance did respond quickly by replacing the unit's air filters (why this wouldn't have been done as part of their regular maintenance is a mystery) while we were at Publix buying plug in air fresheners, benadryl, and cough medicine in addition to our planned grocery shopping. Now the scent of fresh linen overpowers the musty smell but we do not dare switch those off. Also, the place was dirty. Dust everywhere, broken chair, broken light fixtures, grease stains, brown stains on linen, (we have photos to post but did not see a way to attach them to this review). There were no beach chairs or umbrellas anywhere in the unit. The guest info booklet which was disgusting and included the paperwork from previous renters mixed in with the unit's pages (including a sample of a previous renter's bacon and egg breakfast smeared across the pages) stated that guests can rent beach gear and provided a couple of rental options. NOTE: We rented 3 units from 3 different owners/ management companies for a family vacation and this specific unit was sub-par by far in every category when compared to the other 2 (value, cleanliness, service, provisions, etc.). As one example, when we didn't have any beach gear, our family called their unit's management company and they promptly delivered extra beach umbrellas and chairs for us to use. This was in addition to the stocked locker bin in their unit's garage that they had access to (we had none). For what we paid for unit #463, this should not be what we experienced. The unit's condition and non-responsiveness of the owners/management was very disappointing and not worth the money charged.

Beautiful ocean view

All girls out , husbands stayed home , lol . Palm Coast is a beautiful place , peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. The location of the condo is perfect , the apartment had everything we needed and the kitchen is also equipped with the necessary tools for cooking. We couldn’t get in the pool or the ocean that much since it was kind of cold , and it rained often , normal for April , but a couple of visits to Saint Augustine made up for it . We would stay again not only in this area but the in the condo . Over all we enjoyed our time there .

Amaing views!

Loved our location. We were on the top floor of a 5 level Condo. great view of the golf course and beach. Easy access to the beach. short walk to the community pools, one on lakeside and one ocean side. Condo was well furnished. Kitchen was well stocked. the unit even provided beach towels. Would definitely recommend to friends and looking forward to returning in the future.

Away from frost in Houston

Clean, wonderful location, view from lanai excellent. Check in needs improving, instructions how to use home theater and sound system would be very helpful. Overall, we had a great relaxing two weeks.

The private beach keeps the volume of beachgoers down, yet enough are there happily spending their day to put a smile on one's face. The condo had plenty of room for a family, and was clean and inviting. The rec centers had something for everyone, including pools, plus a kids splash zone, hot tubs, billiards table, kids room, a gym and a lunch and snack grill. You can walk on trails to the beach, and walk to the golf course, located right alongside the beach.

Sun, Surf, and Luxury

Cinnamon Beach is a fabulous property on the beach overlooking the 8th hole of Hammock Beach golf course. Our unit had an HVAC problem, so Cinnamon Beach Vacations management moved us into a much larger and more luxurious unit (owned by the same owner). They also purchased a Keurig coffee machine for us, and gave us a gift card for our trouble. The units are large 3-bedroom and very beautifully appointed. They are modern with fully equipped kitchens and a laundry room. There is a TV in every room with Spectrum Cable. WE The top floor units have high ceilings and breathtaking views. Everything had been disinfected and was sparkling clean. We were really impressed with Crystal and all of the staff from Cinnamon Beach Vacations. Highly recommended and we will return/

It is very dirty. AC unit failed and garbage disposal did not work when we arrived but the management company took care of it very quickly. Even though it is old, I liked price with great view and outdoor pool and spa. Hard to beat this deal

Not just a place to sleep

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The rooms were very clean. There were plenty of towels. The property was beautiful. But the view from the balcony was what put it over the top. From sunrise to sunset, that balcony was our favorite spot. The angle of the building helped keep it nice and shady, and the breeze off the ocean kept it relatively cool. I can't recommend this more. Absolutely beautiful.
