Horrible parking and finding the apartment, no TVs were working then got the master and living room working but kid’s rooms had no tv with Comcast system didn’t work

The place was very old and dated, bedroom TV’s were circa 1990’s. Every ceiling had water damage. About a week into the stay we all got sick, after looking downstairs in the utility room found alot of standing water and black mold everywhere. The front door locks were controlled electronically, and frequently locked us out because the door is not hung properly. No cell phone service at the house, and the wifi was junk. This three week stay makes me want to stay in hotel next time. Worst 10 thousand dollars i’ve ever spent.

Vacation House

Very nice. Could have used a longer checkout. Towels and linens were picked up just a bit early before we checked out and one of the towels was missed. We placed it in the washing machine. Overall a very nice stay. We can definitely do it again.

While convenient and clean, we were not happy with this property off-season. Let’s start with the lack of sheets/towels, disclosed in the description but highly unusual for VRBO. A “Linen and Towel Package” was offered, which we considered and rejected when we learned it did NOT include the beds being made prior to arrival. Guests were expected to do this. For a linen fee plus a cleaning fee, why are we doing this? And a 4pm-7pm check-in was inconvenient. We tried to adjust our work schedule to accommodate but finally contacted management. Their response was “don’t worry” – that timeframe is for when help is available from the office. Come as late as you want. Why not just disclose all that up front? And a 10 AM checkout? Really? This makes sense during peak season but off-season? Their no exception answer is that the cleaning team” must get the unit ready for next guests”. What next guests? Who is coming Monday off-season? When we were there, it was clear no one has been in our unit for over 30 days (clocks had not been turned forward). And what is the cleaning team doing if there are no linens, towels, or beds being made? This unwelcome attitude carried was also evident when we arrived and got “A List of No’s” in every room. The owner and management need to take a course in customer service. We love this area are but next time will use a hotel.

Everything and More!!

We were beyond pleased with the home. Everything we needed at all times. Close to all the attractions but far enough where it was peaceful & serene. Nature walk is beautiful. Home is very well kept, clean, nicely laid out. We had no issues whatsoever. Very friendly community. Very nice community facilities

Overall A Great Stay

The parking for this property isn’t good. No parking places and we used the garage but would only fit one of our vehicles, due to size of garage. The water never got hot or even warm when using it for anything. Overall the place was nice and as stated in the listing..

Our stay was great . The house location is perfect for us as it’s away from the business of Ocean City . The house is as advertised- very clean - up to date . Parking is a crapshoot as its first come first serve but it wasn’t a big deal . I would definitely stay at Bayside again . Well worth the money 😀

I was told that I had a parking space available and as soon as I moved the car, someone took the spot and I had to park on the side of the house until they returned. We couldn’t get the TV to work in one of the bedrooms and I reached out but didn’t get a response.

Plan on returning

We had a lovely time. We plan on renting this property in the future, so my comments are for informational purpose, not complaints. The locations is great! Ten minutes to OC, Assateague and downtown Berlin. We could not figure out how to open the garage door. Pushing the buttons on the opening pad in the garage did nothing. So we parked in outdoor spots. It was a slow week. If the complex had been busier, it would have been inconvenient. We loved the layout and the space, as well as the decor. The kitchen was well equipped. Moving about the condo requires a good amount of stair climbing. Lots of drawers in vanity of master bath, so lack of dressers wasn’t a problem for us as others have mentioned. Also roomy closets. The condos are close together, so you can see into each others space easily. This condo had plenty of attractive blinds and shutters to counteract this, but Iwish I felt more comfortable opening the window treatments up. The grounds have a couple of nice pools and a gym and a nature pier that extends into the bay as well as a dock for launching kayaks, etc. Another review mistakenly said that you can keep your kayak in the rack. The rack spaces are rented by property owners. We found this out because we put our kayaks in empty spaces and they were confiscated (we thought stolen). Penny in the office was lovely about explaining and retrieving our kayak. All in all we look forward to returning.

Decent place needs better cleaning

It was overall as described but it could need more cleaning. We had to put on the linens ourselves and noticed the dirty pillows, raggedy comforters and dirty towel. We had a baby with us and noticed the floors had hair that were not from us. We could not park our car in the garage which would have helped a great deal. Parking space was hard to find due to the number of cars at the complex. Place was close to OC.

Bayside Reverie

The house was beautiful and clean. The location was terrific - we've been coming to the DE/MD beach for years but had never really explored West Ocean City until now. The laundry & towel service worked as advertised. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back.

Beautiful Community

I stayed a long weekend with my family. The house was great, lots of room for the 6 of us. The house was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook. The kids loved the pool in the clubhouse and paddle board dock we saw the most beautiful sunrises. I would definitely recommend staying.

Just as described! Clean, close to everything and comfortable.

Had a very nice and relaxing stay. I give it 5 stars. A few things I wish the place had is dressers, at least in the master bedroom. Especially when your staying for a whole week but not a huge deal. Also, a sleeper sofa would have been nice just for an extra space to sleep.

Comfortable stay

Very comfortable stay at great location. Host was easy to communicate with. You have to bring some of your own things like linens and towels but that’s a minor inconvenience at most and it’s a really good value especially if you’re wanting to visit OC.

Spider infested

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Balcony and outside all over the building were spider webs, spiders and Cobb webs. Inside the home living room had webs and spiders on ceiling. I informed them it was noted but nothing done so left a day early on Thursday instead of staying. I was also bit on my chest by something on the first day. The dining table we sat at to eat all meals was extremely wobbly which I listed as an issue and was not even attempted to fix and no response to my complaints except to say they were noted. The front porch needs reflectors for the step to go down to the next level, I stepped off numerous times not seeing it there as it blends in. Suppling sheets and towels for 120.00 is ridiculous to rent. Would not recommend this home to rent but the complex itself is a good location to everything.
