Cabaña de madera aislada en 2 acres, de espaldas al Bosque Nacional Pike, a solo 15 millas de Breck

¡Gracias por pasar! Echa un vistazo a esta acogedora y pintoresca cabaña de troncos de 3 pisos en Placer Valley, con excepcionales vistas a la montaña, a solo minutos de Continental Divide y 15 millas al sur de Breckenridge sobre Hoosier Pass. Hermoso entorno remoto de montaña a 11,000 pies, justo debajo de una cadena de legendarios Colorado 14er (Mt. Bross, el monte. Lincoln, el monte. Demócrata, pico dilema, etc. Senderismo, pesca, camping, ciclismo y esquí de clase mundial están a solo unos minutos.

La propiedad en sí está ubicada en un bosque de álamos de 2.5 acres con altísimos árboles de hoja perenne, en reversa al Bosque Nacional Pike. Caminata justo fuera de la propiedad! Disfruta de vistas increíbles desde la terraza envolvente mientras tomas tu café de la mañana en el columpio de madera. Ponga un disco de vinilo y disfrute de la estufa de leña mientras se relaja de un día de aventura.

La cabina en sí es de 3 pisos con un plano de planta abierto y pintoresco. Perfectamente equipado para 5 amigos, 2 parejas o una familia pequeña. Tiene una cama Queen, Full y Twin. Además de un sofá seccional y un montón de espacio alfombrado (nuevo) para los menos exigentes. Sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que el dormitorio de la planta baja no está totalmente cerrado desde el piso de arriba (vea las fotos de la escalera de caracol abierta), por lo que si está buscando mucha privacidad en el interior, esta podría no ser la cabaña para usted: )

Además, el invierno está aquí ... NECESITARÁ UN COCHE DE INVIERNO (noviembre-abril). Eso significa al menos AWD / 4WD, idealmente con neumáticos para nieve / invierno. Todos los caminos son mantenidos por el condado, pero el camino de entrada es un poco empinado y esta región puede recibir mucha nieve.

Además, antes de reservar, tenga en cuenta que hay una estrecha escalera de caracol que conecta el piso principal y la planta baja. En caso de que esto sea un problema, también puede acceder al nivel inferior utilizando la escalera exterior de la cabina y caminando hacia la entrada del nivel inferior. Las escaleras del desván también son empinadas.

Perfect getaway cabin

We had an amazing stay at this charming cabin in Alma, Colorado. The cabin was the perfect mix of authentic mountain charm and modern comfort, with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our getaway. The views from the property were amazing! The location was ideal—close to Breckenridge and other quaint towns, yet peaceful and quiet. The town of Alma itself was a delightful surprise, with great restaurants and friendly locals. Jared went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay, providing helpful information and being very accommodating. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a perfect mountain retreat!

Amazing mountain getaway!

Loved this cabin - it’s exactly as the pictures and description! Convenient enough to Alma and FairPlay for any town needs, but secluded enough that you’re not bothered by neighbors or other typical city noise. Sitting on the front porch with your morning cabin was one of my favorite parts…or maybe it was the hammocks tucked in the trees…or maybe the records collection or lounge upstairs?? Hard to make a decision!! Caveat for anyone leery of spiral staircases - this one can be tricky on the way down, and will make you watch what you eat in the way up! 1000% would stay here again!!!!

Great cabin near Breckenridge

Cabin was in a great location with excellent hiking and close to Breck. Jared is a great host, very helpful and extremely responsive. We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this one was the best stocked by far. Has everything you'll need for your stay. Lots of great personal touches to make it feel very homey. Also loved the trails around the cabin and the view from the front porch was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic property and owner. Cabin is well appointed, modernized and just great all around. Highlights are record player, guitar, porch swing, garage, hammock. Alma and Fairplay were very charming and we enjoyed hiking and sight seeing. 100% recommended.

Thinking about this cabin? BOOK IT!

Where do I even start? Wow…just wow!!! Everything we could have hoped for and more. The owner, Jared, was an amazing host and had everything we needed plus was willing to help with whatever else we needed! The cabin itself was the perfect retreat- awesome location with an amazing trail he’s put a lot of time into behind the cabin. The record player was so fun and we loved sitting on the swing on the deck in the mornings and evenings and watch the world go by! Like I put in the title, if you’re thinking about renting this cabin, just do it! Absolutely everything about it was perfect- my family and I had the best vacation!!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Wow! The fabulous views and accessible, yet remote location alone would've won us over, but Jared has truly gone the extra mile! The cabin was spotless and welcoming, with a comfy bed, thick towels, and his-and-hers robes. We loved playing records on the turntable (so many to choose from!), catching the early morning sun on the front porch (and greeted by a family of 3 moose who strolled by!), and exploring the trails behind the cabin. Don't hesitate to keep climbing through the Pike National Forest - you'll be rewarded with more spectacular views! We hated to leave!

Alpine Cabin Perfection

The title says it all - our experience visiting Jared’s mountainside cabin was truly exceptional - from check-in to departure, none of our needs went unmet. Jared clearly thought of all of the amenities to help us wind down and feel very much like we were home away from home at his cabin in the woods. Views from the wrap-around porch alone are enough to book a stay here - even as temperatures dropped, we were outside for the majority of our time enjoying the scenery and taking walks up the mountainside. But you’ll also find that being inside the cabin provides just as much joy. We enjoyed cozy fires on the wood-burning stove, played board games, napped in the loft hammock, and put Jared’s wide variety of vinyl to great use on his record player as we spent time cooking and sipping coffee on the porch swing. There is a widescreen tv available as well, but we never once turned it on throughout our entire trip. We were lucky enough to have a surprise sunset visit from a curious fox - and even sighted a mama bear and her cub high up on the trail during one early morning hike. As far as location, Breckenridge was a quick drive further down the mountain, and we were glad to visit tiny downtown Alma for groceries as we arrived, prior to checking in. Jared’s property is situated in a fantastic spot - up the mountain away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to town for a quick store-run. It isn’t a question of whether we’ll be returning to this cabin hideaway…it’s just a matter of when, and we are already looking at our calendars. Jared, thank you for your incredible communication with us prior to and during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality!

Best honeymoon!

We can’t thank Jared enough for such a warm/inviting perfect honeymoon! From the scenery, cleanliness, vinyl records to dance to..., and I could keep going. He even had his friend plow the driveway at 5:30am because we’d had the craziest snow storm the day before!! It was a magical week!!

Peace. Quiet. And Skiing.

We love skiing Breckenridge. And Keystone. And we love the towns. But we prefer the peace, quiet and scenery of the back country after a day of skiing. Jared's cabin delivers all of this. Very happy we found this listing. We'll be back.

The perfect mountain getaway!

Our stay at this cozy mountain getaway was simply AMAZING! This was our FIRST experience with VRBO and frankly, now we're spoiled. :) The cabin and views were beyond beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It's obvious that Jared has put countless hours of time and effort into making the cabin and surrounding area a perfect retreat. His communication with us leading up to our stay and even while we were there was top notch and we felt well informed and very welcome. We enjoyed exploring the "back yard" trails and all the beauty Colorado has to offer. We will definitely return to this cabin and be recommending it to friends and family who are looking for an amazing experience they will be talking about for years to come. Perfect spot for our family getaway.

We had a fantastic time and this cabin and its stellar host were perfect. The cabin is very comfortable, the views are stellar, and the record little touches make it memorable. Having the little trail in the back, playing records, playing old school Nintendo, and being away from it all made for a great trip. Jared is also very responsive and you can tell he cares for the cabin a great deal. Highly recommend.

It had all the amenities and more. Great views and very peaceful setting. The garage had tools And hardware if you needed them for anything which I wouldn’t see you using it unless you’re fixing your bike. In the morning the sunrise hits your window waking you up before you see the sun. Great stay. I hope to stay again

Great Cabin and Location

This cabin was great if you are looking for some awesome hiking and chilling. For those who like to shop or browse it is a short 20 minutes from Breckenridge, 30 minutes to Frisco, only 2 minutes from Alma, and a quick 15 minutes to FairPlay. The cabin had great amenities, beautiful views from the front porch and very comfy beds. The listing was accurate and we will be staying here again. I average about 3 cabin stays a year for hiking vacays and this rates up near the top.
