The Cabin at Hidden Cove has been in the Moses family for over 60 years, and the cabin itself was built (we believe) around the 1880's. The cabin was completely renovated in 2019, including a brand new kitchen and bathroom, new front and back porches, all new furniture, and a state-of-the-art electronics system that is integrated into a Control4 smart house package. Keyless touchpad locks on the front and back doors are programmed with the last 4 digits of your telephone number so you can't forget your entry code, and unlocking the door also activates the indoor lighting and music. Locking the door with the keypad also shuts down the television, music and lighting. Dishwasher, and washer/dryer included, as well as fast WiFi.

A wall-mounted touch screen operates the television, indoor and outdoor music, dimmable lighting, and even the door locks. In-ceiling speakers in the den, kitchen and back porch provide streaming music, news, or play your own music or movies from your phone or iPad. At bedtime, a "goodnight" icon on the touch screen shuts down the television, music, and most of the lighting. The rustic cabin features granite counter tops, dimmable under and over cabinet lighting in the kitchen, a gas log fireplace on chilly evenings, and unlimited hot water from the on-demand water heater. The property also includes its own dedicated dock and boat ramp, so that you may bring your own boat or jet skis, or take advantage of boat/jet ski rental options on Lake Murray (with a delivery and pick-up service, if desired).

Local wildlife includes deer, ducks, foxes, bald eagles, herons, red-tailed hawks, osprey, and an assortment of other birds. The brand new landscaping features exterior lighting that creates a magical ambience at night, and guests have thoroughly enjoyed watching evening thunderstorms from the lakeside covered deck, with the sound of rain falling on the metal roof. The deck also includes a grill and a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
