Lovely home, outstanding pool & porch area!

Check in was seamless, house was beautiful and clean! The beds were super comfortable (not always the case). Property managers were prompt and polite in answering questions before and during our stay. Short walk down the road to the beach. Pool and back porch were amazing!

Loved the stay at this property. Short walk to the beach. Ice cream next door. Tacos across the street. More food just down the road. Couldn't ask for a better location. House was clean and plenty of room for our vacation of 8. Amazing deck and pool out back. Definitely a great stay.

We loved it! Good location! Wonderful back porch, pool, and yard. Complimentary beach setup is a great perk. Loved Oversee thermal cups and towels. Outdoor furniture needs cleaning and shrubs around driveway could use a trim. Otherwise, very nice!

August 2020 Stay

Our family loved the house. The house was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is great with the covered deck and pool. We hung out there most days and nights. Such a nice location and short walk to the beach. The only negative was Walton County closed the ocean due to water conditions every day except one on a nine day trip. Seemed a bit excessive. Not the homeowners fault but was kind of a bummer. We will be back!

The house (Baby Blue)was in a great location...short walk to the beach, ice cream and food locations were very convenient! The house was perfect for us.... The landscaping was luscious with a very inviting pool and back porch. We were concerned about the grill and the management sent a nice man to help with the problem... he saved our 4th cookout! The only concerns were not enough cooking pans...large skillet would have been nice, there was extra pillows but no pillowcases, the rug in the kitchen was dirty as was the couch down in the cushions! Loved the rockers on the front porch. The management was fantastic!!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

From procedures to what to expect down to what we should buy to stock up, was all communicates through their app, email or text and was great. Arrival was smooth and simple again through the app. The place was immaculate and better than the pictures. Our stay was terrific. The place was gorgeous. It was larger than we thought. Ample parking. Super close to the beach. Fun bikes. Nice vegetation and privacy created a backyard oasis. The beds were comfortable. All amenities were great. Outdoor space was comfortable with plenty of options for good seating. And the Pool! We loved the pool. It was private and gorgeous. Thank you for a terrific holiday!

Best Place in Blue Mountain

We have stayed all over 30A from Blue Mountain to Rosemary. This is hands down the BEST place we have ever stayed! Absolutely the best location, next to the Blue Mountain Ice Creamery, a three minute walk to the beach, with daily set up and our own pool. The house was spotless upon arrival and well stocked better than any other place we have stayed. The rental agency was phenomenal. We can't wait to return.

The place was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. The best part about this place is the outdoor area and the pool. Location is great, a short walk to the beach and right next door to Blue Mountain Creamery, which our kids enjoyed almost every night of our stay and loved walking over in their PJ's! You're also walking distance to Blue Mountain Bakery, Blue Mabel and Red Fish Taco which is super convenient after a long day at the beach.

Baby Blue in Blue Mountain

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The interior of the house was extremely clean and updated. Some of the furniture had been updated since the pictures-which was all very nice. The sofa is very worn and dirty and needs to be replaced. Location is good, it is next door to ice cream shop which was loud most night until 10pm but it didn’t really bother us. There are a few restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. The pool was large and perfect for our needs. The landscape of the house was extremely disappointing. We reached out the Oversee the first full day to inform of all the weeds and thorny vines growing up through the deck. They said the owner would send someone out to fix it all. Next day, no one came so we pulled out the weeds and moved all the furniture so we could be outside and not get stuck by a thorn. The vines were over 3 feet tall and the weeds were growing flowers. Landscape crew finally came on Thursday - it took 5 men over an hour to clean it all up-that’s how bad it was. We were compensated for the inconvenience and yard work we did, however think it should have been more. It wasn’t acceptable to arrive to your vacation and not have things in order to the point it was unsafe. We enjoyed the size of the house and the bathrooms were nice. Wish there would be 4 bikes instead of 3 and more plastic kitchen serving bowls and plates.

Wonderful memories

If we weren’t at the beach, the outdoor space with the pool is where we spent most of our time! The location is great! The pictures posted make the living room look a lot bigger than it really is. It was overall a great home!

Many Issues - Do Not Stay

While the town and location (distance from the beach) were great, the location of the house was less than ideal for noise level during the night. In the overnight hours every night, loud motorcycles and cars would drive by VERY loudly. We were awakened multiple times overnight. This was only heard in the master bedroom facing the road. Also, we had booked this rental specifically for the pool and for the pool to be heated. We were assured the pool would be "nice and warm" when we arrived. Unfortunately, it was freezing. We called the morning after to let them know and they said it would be checked out. The next day we saw 2 people enter the backyard and check the pool. We assumed they were fishing the pool heater. Still, never warming up we called again. We were told there was a part missing and they were fixing it. Still not warm the next day and they said there actually was not a pool heater present at the time. They did refund our money, but going in November, we specifically chose this house and gladly spent extra money for our children to be able to swim. On Monday, we received a phone call from management that the owner needed to get a window replaced and asked if we would mind letting the glass company do this. We complied after being told it would take about twenty minutes. Coming back from the beach to the house with 2 of my children, we saw a man working outside replacing a window and walked inside to find another worker EATING OUR FOOD FROM BREAKFAST THAT MORNING (biscuits, gravy, and eggs). WHAT?????? Then, he proceeded to apologize, state to me he was hungry (not sure if I responded was in shock) and he went back outside. A few minutes later he barged back in using our door code to let me know they were unable to replace the window in the back at this time. I immediately called management for a new door code and thankfully received one within minutes. A few mornings later a tree cutting company comes to the home, blocks in both of our vehicles and starts (loudly enough to wake up my napping baby) trimming trees all around the house. We asked them to stop or leave to which they replied we weren't the owners so they would not comply nor move their vehicles so we could leave. This went on for 2 hours. We contacted management, who apologized and tried unsuccessfully to get them to leave so refunded us $300. Management were pleasant to talk to and I believe tried to help us, just too many discrepancies.

Safe option for families

We have small children, and I was very concerned about a safe property. There are several locks on all doors, and a locked gate around the pool. Laundry was right off the pool and very helpful! Split bedroom setup made it very easy to host family and not be in our way. My only complaint is there was ONE kitchen towel, so we had to buy a lot of paper towels! Walkable to great restaurants and literally on the same street as the beach- we walked to sunset every day!

We enjoyed this house very much! Super close to the beach, you can walk but we rented a golf cart with having all our stuff. Plenty of room for all of us. We had 3 families. Each family had their own bathroom. The pool was huge and excellent deck for hanging out! It is right next door to the ice cream shop so parents should be aware however it didn’t bother us. I would say the only downside is the traffic on Blue Mountain Road. People drive really fast. All in all fantastic house and location.

Nice fall break

Baby blue was just as described. Very clean at check in, spacious and great location . Very short walk to blue mountain beach. Pool was a life saver with the kids when they got tired of the sand. The only negative i noticed is that it was minimally stocked ...(ex: no dish rags). We had 5 kids under 12 and 5 adults . Worked well for all !

Wonderful home, close to the beach. Sad we left early due to Sally, but enjoyed our time while we could. The back patio was awesome for our kids and us to sit and relax as well as the pool. House was very clean and tidy.

July 2020 Stay

This beach house is UH-MAZING!! When we arrived and walked in the front door the house smelled sooo good! It was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. Baby Blue is decorated in crisp and light neutrals and every square inch looks brand new. The kitchen and bathrooms are SO nice!! This house has a lot of space and the back deck is really big and well furnished. We ended up eating every meal out there. We have 6 kids and still had extra room to invite my parents to come down for a few days. The pool was just perfect for our crew and we spent more time in the pool than we did at the beach. A big perk to this particular house is that it is right next to the super popular Blue Mtn. Creamery and Shake Shack! We made quite a few visits since it is only a 20 second walk away. My kids loved it and we made some great memories on this trip. My teens loved how close we were to the beach and my dad said it was the best vacation he has ever had, and that is saying a lot!! There is not one thing this beautiful house lacks!

Near Perfect

Baby Blue is a wonderfully remodeled home with a near perfect location. We loved being right next to the creamery and the shake shack for doughnuts. The living spaces were much larger than the pictures communicated to us. There were layers of safety with regard to the pool. There was a high lock on the backdoor to the porch and the safety fences around the pool were difficult for children. This helped us sleep with ease. We lived on the deck and in the pool since we arrived as a tropical depression landed in Louisiana and the beaches were closed in Blue Mountain. The house was well laid out for younger children. We did have trouble ordering food to go in the middle of Covid, but that has more to do with the restaurants than the house. I think the biggest draw back would be the bathroom setup. The bunk room should be downstairs and one of the queen beds should be upstairs. It makes no sense for a bunk room to have a private bathroom while adults share the full bath downstairs. This doesn't spoil the vacation by any means, but this did keep us from booking the same location next year when there will be three small families with young children. Side note: A downstairs bed has a box springs on it and shouldn't. It made the bed unstable. We slept with it directly on the bed frame with springs and it was just fine.
