Perfect Beach Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was in a quiet area and a quick walk to the bakery. The house was clean and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The beds were also very comfortable. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.

Family Vacation

My husband, 3 children and I spent a long weekend at Vitamin Sea. It was close proxemity to the private beach access and community pool. The home was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed.

Vitamin Sea

We enjoyed our stay in Vitamin Sea and the Blue Mountain area...much more calm than the areas east of there. The walk to the beach was an easy walk for us (my husband recently turned 70 and his knees don't do well with longer walks). The private beach area was wonderful!!

Family Vacation. It wasn't our favorite house but we had a great time.

Liked the location and enjoyed the pool and private beach. Enjoyed three of the bikes. One had a flat tire that we inflated but didn't seem to hold air. Had to go out and buy a lighter to light grill which we could have brought from home if we knew. We fixed the three legged dining room chair so that it was usable and tightened the legs on the others. Also found a screw that belonged in one of the bar stools and put that where it belonged. There was a lot of dog hair that we swept up in the kitchen area when we got there. Wished that we had known we needed to bring liquid hand soap for all of the bathrooms. There was none to be found at any stores nearby.

Thanks for the review. Unfortunately I was unaware of the chair leg being broken so thanks so much for repairing it. The chair has a slip cover on it and we had not been informed of this by the other first. I’m Not sure what was on the floor because this home is not pet friendly. We do have bar soaps in each bathroom for the guest but not liquid. This is a great home and I wish I was made aware of the these items so we could have sent our maintenance guy over to fix. But thanks so much! We will take a look at it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 11 family members from 4 different groups and the house was perfect. 4 full baths is a HUGE win! VERY close to the beach. Well stocked kitchen. No need to bring any cooking hardware. The master bedroom itself fit our daughter's family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids below 7 years of age). Outdoor shower and hose is outstanding to prevent sand in the house. Garage had 4 bikes and a lot of sand toys. So don't go to Walmart and start buying stuff until you go to the house.Of particular positive note:1. We got locked out due to the door code not working. Called the agent and she immediately got us a new code.2. Upstairs A/C had a problem in the later afternoon. Agent had an A/C guy there early in the morning. He fixed it immediately. SUPERB RESPONSIVENESS BY THE AGENT!We will be back to Vitamin Sea.

Awesome location for a beach vacation, especially with kids. The property was clean enough, but definitely needs updating/replacement of heavy use items and a deep clean. If I had paid high season price for this rental I would have been very unhappy. The pots and pans needed to be replaced (they were nonstick and super scratched up) and the kitchen had so many serving dishes and bowls that there were only two small cabinets to store food in. Mattresses also need to be replaced. Maybe we are all just old but they were not very comfortable, they are innerspring mattresses and felt very worn out. We had to rotate our mattress so it didn't feel like we were laying in a hammock. If you are bringing an infant make sure to bring your own pack and play and high chair, or rent one when you're down there. The property states they have these things but I did not find them to be clean or safe for my infant to use. Overall a decent place to stay at the beach with beautiful views and a short walk to the shore. Pool is not heated.

Vitamin Sea is such a spacious beautiful house for families. Plenty of room. The place was very comfortable with extra comfy couch, beds, and dinning. The kitchen is beyond well stocked. It even has two crock pots! Huge pots and bowls. Plenty of dishes. If I was to add anything it would another 1-2 cutting boards for large meals. We also thought there would be extra garbage bags but only one, so if your staying a long time bring extra. Not a big deal but we just did not have them. My favorite part is the short walk to your private neighborhood beach! So great plus they have lots of chairs to take to beach and tons of toys for kids! I also loved the decks! I enjoyed coffee on deck in the morning and it was lovely. Also bakery is a block antound the corner! Great cinnamon rolls!! Also we did not see this until last night...the initial email said they would send me the checkout info. So I was waiting and then reached out. My husband said night before we leave, aren't these them? They are on a table under the TV! So make sure you see those! Again not a big deal! We loved loved our stay and the house and location!!! Thank you to host for the great stay and all the extras! We did notice and it made it that much more special!!!

This is an immaculate, well-built, well-designed, generously stocked, beautifully decorated HOME at the beach. We had everything we needed, from the kitchen (plenty of pots, dishes and flatware) to the garage (bikes, wagon, beach chairs, pool toys). Coastal Blue was very responsive to our text messages, and very professional. We travel a lot, and I do not usually write reviews; but this was a great find, and we plan to return soon.

The location of the house is very close to the beach. Easy 5 min walk from the front door. The only drawback of this house is there are 3 flights of stairs and the living area/kitchen are on the top floor. We did not have any problems, but others might if you have trouble climbing stairs.Having four full bathrooms was great!Also an outside shower! Beach toys and chairs are great!High chair and pack n play provided! The view from top floor is great! Nice breezes on the porch balconys.We all had a great time!! Definitely recommend this house! We cooked every night, but did get a takeout from North Beach Social our last night. Delicious seafood!

Great getaway!

This was the perfect getaway for a group of teachers on fall break! The house was clean, had all of the things we needed, and was just a short walk to the beach. We loved how close it is to seaside and all of the shops and restaurants there. The water was calm and crystal clear. Beaches were clean and not overcrowded. 10/10 recommend!

Wonderful Cabin

We loved this cabin! Kim, the hostess, was the best! She was quick to communicate and answered all our questions promptly. The check in process was very smooth. The cabin was clean and decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable except for the pullout coach. It will work for small children but not for older kids. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. Just a couple of minutes for most folks. Nice private beach! We will be back.

Comfortable house and great location

We stayed at this house for a week and would return. The location is perfect - a short walk to private beach access and to restaurants in town. The house needs a deep clean. I had to vacuum when we arrive, and the rugs had not been vacuumed before our arrival. The kitchen also needs a deep clean and organization of the drawers and cabinets. Overall, the house was comfortable and we enjoyed the layout.

The view from the top floor family room and kitchen is great, lots of stairs to keep your health app happy. Nice to have a garage with sand toys, chairs, bikes. Mgmt company accommodated a one day adjustment, but took several weeks to reply. Also an appliance repairman showed up unannounced on Tuesday to fix the oven. A courtesy call, email, text would have been appropriate.

A lovely week

We were a little surprised to find the main living area on the 3rd floor, which was not ideal for my 80+ parents, but they managed. The living area was light and airy and lovely. Convenient to the beach, good biking nearby and it was an easy walk to ice cream, a pub, a bakery, and a beach store. What more could you need?

Great location! Beautiful and clean home! Family friendly.

We invited our extended family to stay. We had several adults and children from 1 year to 12 years old staying with us. It was a great set-up for all of us. The upper kitchen/living space was wonderful for us to gather, and the permanent baby gates allowed us to let the little one roam free. Management took such great care of us upon arrival, and even came out to check on a minor issue with the TV promptly. We came while the balconies were under construction, and although we could not utilize them, management took great care to secure the doorways for our safety, and went above and beyond to meet our needs with the balcony inconveniences. The property was an enjoyable short walk to the beach that was easy to do with children and adults of all ages. The use of the chairs and bicycles that came with the property made lounging and the beach and exploring the charming town of Blue Mountain so much more enjoyable. We ate dinner at a delicious restaurant and picked up some yummy ice cream within walking distance of the home. A health food store and wonderful bakery are around the corner. We would love to stay again, it was the perfect home away from home.

Steps from the private beach access AND the Blue Mountain Creamery! What more could you ask for?! Not as much traffic and congestion as Seaside. That was a pleasant plus for us. Great location

The location is the strength. It is in a small culdesac right across 30A. It is a short 5 minute max walk from the house, across 30A, and through another culdesac on the 30A side out through a gated entrance onto the beach. Walking distance to Big Daddy's bikes and the bakery right beside it. In the house, the kitchen and living space is on the 3rd floor. Bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd.

Besides a few initial maintenance repairs, it was a lovely place to stay for 2 families w/kids.

Location to beach and private access to beach we’re Ideal. Would Definitely consider staying again.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was in a great location with nice furniture and amenities. The drawbacks were the smell of smoke on the second floor and lack of cleanliness as exemplified by dirt/cheerios under couches, air conditioning filters that looked like they had not been replaced in a very long time, and a barbeque that was almost unusable it was so dirty. The owners need to replace the barbeque and do a thorough cleaning, and the property would be great.

Thanks for your response. We are not sure what the smell of smoke was since this is a non-smoking home. We were not able to smell it so I'm wondering if it was from outside. We changed all the ac filters monthly and do ask that each guest clean up after themself after using the grill. We have cleaned it since. I have discussed with the cleaners about making sure everything is gotten from under the couches.They are very thorough with their cleaning and follow the CDC guidelines which they do focus on bedding, surfaces, kitchens and bathrooms. They apologized for missing a cheerio that was found under the couch. This is a great home and is in a wonderful and private location. We make sure that we respond very quickly and we would have sent the cleaners back out if needed if we would have known about any of this. Thanks

Stairs and Paradise

Vitamin Sea was an amazing get away with our friends. There was plenty of room for our party of 11, kids loved the bunk room and the short walk to the pool and beach. Everything was clean and was above our expectations. All of the linens were very nice and we felt right at home, there was plenty to go around and more. Thank you Kim for being a great host. We will definitely be back!!
