SPACIOUS Lakefront Family Retreat on Lake Martin

Our beautiful lakefront home is perfect for a large family to make memories that will last for years. Come enjoy over 3500 sf of living space plus two porches.

The main level has been fully remodeled and includes master suite (king bed) and private bathroom; the main living room area overlooking the lake with fireplace and big screen TV; a well stocked kitchen and dining area with coffee bar; and an additional half bath. High speed Wireless internet is available if you have to stay connected to the outside world.

Two additional bedrooms upstairs each have a queen bed, private bath, and sitting area. A fourth large bedroom has a queen and two twins, private bath, and it's own private entrance.

Located on a quiet part of Lake Martin, the gently sloping yard leads to a large dock with ample room for enjoying water sports or just relaxing. Fish from the dock or bring your boat. A public boat ramp is located nearby (1 mi.) and we have more than adequate space to park your boat trailer. A Weber gas grill is available for barbecuing and spend your evenings relaxing around the fire pit. Plenty of onsite parking is also available. Large garage and laundry room.

We are just 15 minutes from Alex City for shopping, 30 minutes from Auburn, (great for football weekends), and 90 minutes from downtown Birmingham. Drive time to Atlanta and Birmingham airports is the same.

Other recreation opportunities nearby include numerous hiking trails around the lake (the hike to Smith Mtn Fire Tower is highly recommended), golfing at the Lakewinds & Stillwaters Golf Courses, horse back riding and zip-lining at Wind Creek State Park, and numerous dining and shopping opportunities in the Alexander City and Dadeville area.

Our family enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay at this lovely home. The large yard, the dock, and the quiet slough close to bigger water were perfect for our activities. The home was spacious, clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Communication with the owners was easy with a quick response. This was our first stay but all agreed it will not be the last. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful place to stay. Master bedroom and a bedroom upstairs (QUEEN BED AND 2 TWINS) were hot. The air conditioning system for those two rooms does not work properly at all.

Our family of ten (children and grandchildren) could not have asked for a better location for our long weekend together! The kitchen was well supplied and the bathrooms and bedrooms were very comfortable. We spent many hours on the porch and near the dock area. Our grandchildren enjoyed the kayaks and swimming near the dock. I highly recommend this rental property!

Wonderful Lake House.

We have stayed in this house before and have loved it each time. The house and grounds are beautiful, comfortable, and convenient. The bedrooms and their adjoining baths are perfect for couples and children. The dock is new and easy to use. Great vacation place!

Family vacay finally

We finally got the whole crew together for a weekend of fellowship and memory making. We loved everything about the home, the location and the owners went above and beyond with answering all my questions throughout the booking process and with all amenities of the home. Octogenarian get away

Four couples, the males of which were high school or college friends, all of which are feeling the years, and one mildly disabled. The house was perfect for us, with its wonderful accommodations inside and its gentle slope down to the boathouse deck. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable and the house is well appointed and immaculate. I recommend it for families of all ages. The children's den with a day bed is an unexpected extra plus, although we did not need it. RFA

Fabulous property

This property is a gem! The bedding was comfortable, appliances all in new and working condition, tons of storage space for ones things, amenities that were great, more than ample room and linens…. It just goes on and on! I can’t say thank you enough as this place was beautiful, super clean and relaxing. We floated all day by the docks and so enjoyed our ladies “ girls trip’. The Fullerton’s were great! We will definitely be back for another stay. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous retreat with our group.

Paradise at Lake Martin

We were so blessed to have the opportunity to stay at the most beautiful home on Lake Martin. The home was perfect for us. With 4 adults and 2 children we had a plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Each room of the lake home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The view of Lake Martin is breath taking with plenty of space outdoors on the covered porch and the dock to enjoy nature. We brought our 21 ft bass boat, and it was so easy and convenient to launch from the very close boat launch and park it at the boat dock. The hosts were the best hosts that we have worked with. Communication was awesome. The hosts were fast to respond and provided so much information and help for questions we had about their home and the Lake Martin area. This place is definitely the place we will stay at from now on when visiting Lake Martin. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. We highly recommend Sunset Cove and the hosts.

Great place for lake weekend

We enjoyed the lake weekend for our family. the house is amazing and so clean and airy with plenty of room for our family which includes our two sons, their wives and 1 son each. The water was great and the dock for the boat was perfect. The boat ramp only a few miles away made bringing a boat easy. Thank you for sharing your home!

Friends get together

Very nice and clean and good location wish the weather would’ve been better. We were there from April 8, 2024 through the 12th. The weather did not stop all of us from having a great time This is a beautiful location to just hang out even with your friends

Great place and great host!

Everything about this place was perfect. Loved the layout of the house, the back porch, and the swimming area. Everything was labeled. Lots of space. Fast communication with any questions. We all definitely recommend John’s place if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful time.

The Perfect Lake Vacation Home

Super clean, roomy, comfortable home with everything you need for a multi-family stay. New boat dock is pristine and great for fishing and boat parking. Bonus room for teens or twentysomethings to have a separate space was nice. Master plus 2 other en suite bedrooms gave lots of privacy. Porch area was comfortable with great views. We had a peaceful and memorable week and can't wait to visit Lake Martin again.

Great Family Lake House

This home and lakefront are beautiful and well maintained. The house is one of the most comfortable and roomy that we have stayed in in 16 years of Summer family weekends at Lake Martin. It is convenient to US 280, Alex City, and Dadeville. Plenty of room to bring our boat and the public boat ramp is close by. The ramp and parking lot are paved and in good shape.

Absolutely Perfect

Street is named Sunrise Lane 4 a reason! The sunrises coming up over the lake are gorgeous. We spent our mornings on the lakeside porch coffee n hand watching the sunrise, birds play(several feeders n the yard), fish jump, & the turtles swim. House is perfect for multiple families w each bedroom having its own private bath. Bonus room above the garage has multiple beds, is accessible but separated from the main house making it perfect 4 teens or another family. Location is great being off the big busy water but also not n a small, dark, & slimy slough(also very close to 280 & Auburn). Dock is new & very nice. House is very well stocked w everything you'll need 4 cooking/grilling & the garage has plenty space 4 storing your lake toys during your stay. It also has a ping pong table which our teens loved. We'll definitely be renting this one again!

Stay on Sunrise Lane!

This house was absolutely perfect for my family 10 family members! My sister and I brought our families to the beautiful Lake Martin for a long weekend getaway! Our kids range from 2 to 10 and this house was absolutely perfect for them! The girls ranging from ages 7 to 10 loved the “secret” room off of one of the bedrooms upstairs and it was huge (2 twins and 1 queen in there)! The other rooms were big enough to fit pack n plays for the younger kids as well. The kitchen is beautiful, but the back porch is where it is at! We had ample room to sit and enjoy the majestic views of the lake! We even enjoyed breakfast and lunch out there. If we go back, we will hopefully stay here again 10/10 we recommend!

Another Excellent Visit

FABULOUS!!!

This has been one of the best vacations we’ve had. The home is decorated beautifully and is so inviting and CLEAN. We enjoyed feeding the blue birds and watching them play and fight while dining and sitting on the back porch overlooking the lake. We loved the office with all of the memorabilia. We will be back!

Relaxing Family Weekend

We have rented lake houses for six years. This property was the best! The house was clean and well-organized. The manager thought of everything, even notes by light switches. The back porch and view of the water was awesome. We had four people in our late 50's, four in their 30's, and 3 babies. Everyone gave it a double thumbs-up.

Excellent House!

This house had all the comforts of home with a wonderful view of the lake! It is located on a quiet part of the lake and is close to a public boat ramp. The house was clean and comfortable for everyone. The kids had their own rec area inside to play games while the adults relaxed in the living room. Response from the owner was quick when we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again!
