Believe the other reviews. Christy and Shane are fantastic hosts. They've put together a great little "compound" of 3 neat small homes. Exactly what we had hoped for when booking. The small beach they created is perfect for relaxing morning or afternoon with a nice breeze coming across the water. The home was super clean. Everything works. The washer/dryer make it so we travelled with just a carryon bag. If you have a bigger group, get all 3 houses. You wont regret it.

This place was amazing! We had the best time visiting the island and snorkeling right off our backyard! Watch out for urchins, but the marine life was amazing here!!! Host was also amazing! would return

Beautiful stay at Fish Fever

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at Fish Fever, 10 stars all around!! Christy was amazing!! She arranged pick up from airport and greeted us at the ferry arrival showing us the way around the island and making sure we were settled in. They’ve done a really good job laying out the property and all the amenities available at the shore. Inside it’s cool and comfortable has everything you need, but also simple not too much stuff. Thank you for an amazing stay, we and our kids 8&10 loved it!!One tip as long as you have few bags the return on departure can be as simple driving golf cart back to ferry dock. That was one question I had but simply apparent once getting on the island to see how it all works, and it sounded common for most rentals.Also this one really close to Sandbar if you’re studying the maps and island location of things.

A little slice of heaven! We loved everything about Sweeting Paradise! Fish Fever was the cutest villa, everything is absolutely perfect. Sparkling clean, decorated with love, the bed was so comfortable, the beach is amazing, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! Christy was easy to communicate with. She arranged our transportation to and from the airport and she was always quick at responding. We will be back soon! Hopefully we can get all 3 villas and bring family. We rented a boat for 3 days and had an amazing time exploring around the islands. This was our second trip to these islands and is now our favorite place to be. Everyone is so friendly and getting around is very easy. Golf carts, swimsuits, cover ups and flip flops. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, book it!

Awesome spot!

Chrissy and Shane were so accommodating and helpful during our first visit to Spanish Wells. The house was clean and decorated so cute with the most comfy king size bed!! We will definitely be coming back!

Fish Fever is Fantastic!

Not enough good things to say about the trip and the host! Chrissy had everything set up for us. Getting there was a breeze! Lovely island with the nicest people. The kids loved the golf cart, the beaches, driving around looking at Christmas lights. Would highly recommend!

Very Comfortable and decorated beautifully

Great communication, easy to find, the golf cart was a great to have as part of the rental. Beautiful view and cozy and nicely outfitted-convenient to get to restaurants

The house was beautifully decorated. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The washer and dryer was a huge plus. You can walk to the water in the backyard and go paddle boarding or kayaking which was great. The island is small so everything is close by. A golf cart was included which was also perfect. Overall great stay!

Ten days at Fish Fever

We were met at the dock by Christy & Shane. Shane rode with us in our golf cart and gave us a tour of the island, on our way to Fish Fever. They made sure we were settled in and left us alone. During our stay, we had trouble with our golf cart and they took care of it immediately. Fish Fever was everything they advertised. We loved the porch and spent many afternoons painting, taking pictures, and cocktails. Thank you Christy & Shane

Perfect!

My husband and I absolutely love Fish Fever. The cottage has everything you need and furnishings are top drawer. Shane and Christy have done a marvelous job designing the cottages and using creative landscaping around each one creating a little tropical paradise. You couldn’t ask for nicer hosts as they were gracious in greeting us and answering all our questions. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property and will be back again at some point. It was a relatively quiet time of year and not a very touristy area, which was exactly what we were looking for on this vacation. Enjoyed getting around the island on the golf cart provided, which allowed for access to several great restaurants and the stores on the islands. The hosts were very responsive from the start and graciously set up transportation to/from the airport as well as met us at the ferry to show us to the house when we arrived. I would recommend this property to anyone.

What an amazing stay! We have been coming to the Bahamas for years and this was our first big trip as a family of four. Christy the host was very accommodating. The house had beautiful ocean views while not an actual beach it is ocean front and they have a sand area with cabana and beach chairs, we loved taking the boys out on the kayaks (they provide) in the morning and saw lots of starfish, fish and some turtles! Our four year old was even able to join in on some snorkeling with the calm ocean! Absolute heaven! My only complaint which is not a deal breaker is there wasn't a lot of storage space and being there over a week, it would have been nice to have. We can't wait for our next adventure at Fish Fever

Wonderful Experience

The property and cottage were perfect, new and clean. Beach sand on the property was a great idea. Use of a golf cart and water toys were a huge bonus. Host couldn’t be more responsive and accommodating. Fish Fever was an unforgettable experience!

Pictures are spot on and is a really nice place to stay

We went to relax and get in the boat and snorkel & fish. First of all Christy and Shane met us at the ferry dock and took us to the house as it went really smooth. Spanish Wells & Russell Island are laid back low key islands. If you want low key & no frills this is for you. We loved the Island as soon as we got there. The house has everything you need and is decorated for the islands perfectly. The beach is really nice and has anything you need. April is a great time to come as it is not too hot and before the no see-ums come out in force. Fishing Fever met our needs and work out for us really well. After trying all the restaurants, Wreckers was by far the best. Snapper, Wahoo & of course lobster. There chef is the best as far as cooking the fish right. We will be back to SW/RI in the future as it was truly a great vacation.

Spanish Wells/Russel Island Adventures/Private/Relaxing

Our family generally takes adventure vacations mixed with traveling a little off the beaten path. Although there were plenty of friendly locals with whom to interact, we also experienced a private backyard paradise complete with paddle boards, kayaks, and great snorkeling. Please bring water shoes for the non-sand beach areas as the coral can be sharp. If you prefer sandy-bottom beaches, there is plenty of access to beaches where walking out in white sand in knee-high waters for 600 meters is standard. Besides offering transportation with use of the owner’s golf cart, there are many water charters available with a day or two scheduling advance. The house was clean and very comfortable, and Christy and Shane were very accommodating. Taxis to the Spanish Wells port from the N. Eleuthera airport are plentiful. Even though we usually don’t make repeat trips, we may have to break our “rule” for this one, but will definitely encourage our friends to try it out. In fact, there are three cottages on the property that would make a great 3 or 2 family vacation very comfortable.

Unforgettable - In the best way!

Our trip to Spanish Wells was truly unforgettable. Christy and Shane's charming house has ample space and amenities. A stone's throw away from the beach and incredible views from the deck - perfect for carefree, morning swims! The accessible golf cart provided easy access around the island whenever we wanted to explore. Overall, a win in every category. Christy and Shane were extremely responsive and provided great information and recommendations. The excursion they coordinated with Dwayne/Seagillian Life was one of the best (if not the best) boating trips we have ever taken! Would not hesitate to recommend this little oasis and cannot wait to be back to Spanish Wells - it is an incredible place with some of the nicest people! When you come, be sure to have bug spray for the pesky mosquitos if sitting on the deck at night! :) Thank you again, Christy and Shane!

Relaxing stay with a fantastic host

Our family of 4 just got back from Fish Fever for Spring Break and despite a few days of bad weather we had a blast. The location is great for relaxing and enjoying Spanish Wells. Christy was phenomenal as a host and made sure to answer our questions and help out any way she could. She is the reason we would book the place again. She setup taxi cabs from the airport to and from the ferry dock which made the transfer seamless and picked us up from the dock and gave us a tour of the island and pointed out the essential restaurants, stores, and beaches. The location is great and the availability of golf cart and kayaks, paddle boards are a bonus. Sandbar restaurant is right down the street and the rest of Spanish Wells is about a 10-15 ride away. Our kids loved hanging out in the back along the water, we saw turtles, starfish, blowfish, and sting rays. We’ll be planning our next trip soon.
