Anchor's Away is a newly constructed cottage. It's not right on the water but as an awesome water view! Enjoy relaxing or reading a book on the spacious patio while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. Anchor's Away is only a few minutes away from one of the favorite restaurants here, the Sandbar. It’s also a 10 minute ride or less in a golf cart to get to any of the wonderful restaurants or grocery stores while staying with us.Book your adventures with us today!

Beautiful home and property

We have visited Spanish Wells for four times now. Each visit is a precious memory for our family. This house was absolutely perfect for our family. Christy and Dwayne were wonderful hosts. Very quick to respond before and during our stay. Will hopefully be back soon!!

Russell Island

Beautiful cottage, impeccably clean, well appointed, with a beautiful view. Property manager was incredibly helpful, gave us a great tour of the islands, and was always available for any questions. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful and relaxing stay.

Adorable

Perfect for couples or small families in each cottage. Owner's are fantastic and easy to communicate with and hospitable. The cottages are clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed.

Amazing

Wonderful island, location and host! Beautiful peaceful spot with a water view and golf cart. VERY comfortable bed (we did not use the other). Island is wonderful and residents of the island are so friendly. I would highly recommend this rental spot!

Great Get Away!

Our first trip to Eleuthera - were happy with Russell Island location. Having the golf cart was very convenient. Christy couldn't have been nicer. Anchors Away was just as represented and we had a great time!

Perfection!

This is my 3rd booking with Fish Fever and Anchors Away. These beach houses have everything you need, they are decorated so cute, and the beds are so comfortable! With the provided golf cart, the beach, the restaurants, and shopping are minutes away! There’s also a private beachfront to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea! Communication with Christy is always a message away and she is so helpful with anything you need! A Spanish Wells vacation is always a perfect vacation..and you can’t go wrong with a stay at Anchors Away.

Perfect Experience

The location was so beautiful and relaxing. It was everything I thought it would be and more. The addition of the golf cart was wonderful as most people drive golf carts on the island. It is definitely on island time which was great. The beds were so comfortable in the inside. The house was beautifully decorated. Christie the host was wonderful, immediate responses to any needs you have. We would definitely do it again.

Perfect Accommodations

Description was spot on and booking was simple. Christy responded immediately and continued to communicate in advance and during our stay - no question went unanswered. Shane greeted us and was the perfect host. The property is beautiful, well appointed and clean. The site is quiet and relaxing, with beach, fire pit, kayak and golf cart for exploring the island. I can easily give Sweeting’s Paradise a 5 star recommendation!

Property was so cute! House was perfect for a small family. House had everything you need. Loved rafts, paddle boards and beach chairs. PERFECT !!

Everything we needed was there! The houses are so pretty, intimate and ocean front! The location is amazing! Paddle boards to get around in the ocean...where all the sea life shoes up! ( bring your water shoes :) The host was always there when needed, would recommand 100% Thanks again for sharing this piece of paradis!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!

Wow wow wow wow! I cannot say enough good things about anchors away !! This house was amazing to stay in for a whole week, Christy made the whole process so easy by scheduling a taxi & water taxi from the airport to Spanish wells! The house included paddle boards, a kayak, beach chairs & towels, and a golf cart! This was our first time visiting Spanish wells and it’s safe to say we will be back:)

Best decision ever!

My family have been to the Bahamas many times but this was our first trip to Spanish Wells/ North Eleluthera. Christy was so helpful! Set everything up for our shuttle, ferry ride and had golf carts and a guide waiting for us when we arrived. The house & location were just perfect! SUPER comfortable beds. Christy was out of town during our stay and she STILL took care of everything including setting up a fabulous 1/2 day charter. I only wished we had a longer stay but we WILL be back!

Lovely cottage

Property was super clean and very easy to access. Communication with the host was excellent. We needed a short rental before moving to a different property and this fit the bill, but honestly we would have been perfectly fine staying at Anchor's Away for the full week. The golf cart was waiting for us right on the dock which made getting from the dock to Russell's Island simple. We used the kayaks and paddle boards while we were there as well. The "beach" on property was handy for relaxing but the access to the water is rocky so not ideal for swimming -- luckily its a short ride to SW with the most beautiful sandy beaches in the world. We would stay again!

Perfect Place

New construction is a big + since we all like new things. This house is very convenient in every aspect. Location is amazing, snorkeling in the back of the house was something we all enjoyed. Christy is very caring and she help you in anyway possible. Dealing with Good people is very important. She is very professional and know how to take care of these properties. - House is clean & comfortable - Very well equipped and everything new - The landscape and surrounding are gorgeous - Must try. Highly recommended

our stay

I never write a review, however this location as well as home is review worthy. Steps away from the most beautiful crystal clear water with a immaculate charming cottage. The property was very quiet and private. Being able to take the cart into town but at the same time have privacy from being not in town was perfect. Christy and Shane very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

This place is small but the space is utilized great and there is everything you would need. Nice spacious shower and new washer/dryer. Comfy beds and nicest host. We loved our stay!

Anniversary in Paradise

We had an amazing stay at Anchors Away!!! The cottage is so stinkin cute!!! We have been wanting to go to the Bahamas for a couple of years now but Covid put a big wrench in our plans! Spanish Wells and Russell Island met all our expectations and more! We usually go to all inclusive adult only resorts when it’s just the 2 of us, but we wanted to be adventurous! There is no where safer place than Spanish Wells! The locals are the most hospitable people… just 100% nice! We met some of the Sweeting family and they are just so friendly and welcoming! We loved our stay in this precious cottage that had everything you could possibly need!!! We will be coming back for sure❤️ Thank you Christy for helping and answering all our questions and being so helpful!! The gold cart was a huge bonus and that may have been one of my husbands favorite things about our trip!!!

Beautiful Location

We had a great stay here while we were on a work trip. The owners were absolutely fantastic, communicated well, and would bend over backwards for anything we needed including arranging transportation to and from the airport Location is a cool area with great views, close to the sandbar restaurant where we spent most of our time for eating. The property was perfect for my copilot and I. If we have another trip to the Bahamas we’ll definitely be staying at a sweetings property, cannot recommend them enough they were great!
