Playa de cuatro ruedas motrices! Esta casa de playa con cubiertas envolventes da al océano Atlántico y al sonido. Amplio salón con techo de catedral y vistas panorámicas. ¡Mire los caballos salvajes en el patio delantero! ¡Pesca y nada en el océano! ¡Esta parte de Corolla es un mundo diferente! Hay muy poco tráfico: por la noche puedes ver millones de estrellas, ya que no hay farolas que oscurezcan la vista. Ubicada a tres millas de la "carretera dura", solo se puede acceder a la casa por tracción en las cuatro ruedas. Cocina totalmente equipada, aire acondicionado y calefacción central, ropa de cama, WIFI, 3 televisores, barbacoa exterior. Tres habitaciones cuentan con: dos camas queen - dos camas matrimoniales y dos literas. Algunos perros están bien con un depósito de $ 150.

Great Views ALL AROUND!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. We had views of the sunrise and sunset and saw horses every day. The house was clean and it was a great layout for our group.

A Walk on the Wild Side

None of us had driven a 4x4, so renting a Mercedes to fit six was the first adventure. Eric was quick to calm our fears about arriving near high tide with extra instructions and directions. We were greeted by horses before we arrived at the house, and the harem visited us multiple times a day. Our 7 and 12 yo grandchildren were enthralled. The house was well-equipped and quite spacious for our group of six. The beach was deserted for our early morning and evening walks. And the birder in me had a grand time watching pelicans and sanderlings, eagles and osprey. Visiting this wild place is a privilege. Drive below the speed limit. We were devastated to hear of the death of a stallion soon after our departure.

Birthday Getaway

Went for a long weekend, short trip with the family for a nearby beach-vacation. Had never been to Corolla before. The house was perfect for our family group. Kids are a little high impact, so we are sometimes nervous about being in someone's home, but I think it (and they) came out okay. Driving on the sand was an adventure and the wild horses were welcome additions to the scenery. House location was tranquil but still had good views of the ocean and surrounding dunes. Would definitely stay again.

Family vacation

The drive down the 4x4 beach was amazing. The property was easily located to the beach. Spacious, clean and amazing views of the ocean, dunes and wild horses. I was able to go bearfoot all week. The entire family of 7 enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be back

Phenomenal wild horse experience

What an amazing experience! The wild horses came by the house almost every day. The 4-wheel drive beach was so much fun too! My dog and I both found our happy place here. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your house!

Amazing deck and perfect location

The house was pretty perfect! Really enjoyed the house and especially the upper deck - great tho kind of obstructed ocean views, easy to drive OR walk to the beach!! Really enjoyed our stay, thanks so much to the hosts and property manager!

Fun family vacation

We would recommend this little hidden gem to anyone looking to get away with family and/or friends. If you like quiet, this is the place for you. The house was clean and offered everything you needed. And the beach was within walking distance as well. We were visited by the wild horses that roam the area almost every day of our stay. Just amazing. The sun rises were amazing as well as the clear skies and stars at night - we enjoyed both from the spacious deck surrounding the house. We will definitely be returning.

4x4 adventure

Love that we could see the beach from the deck and could hear the waves crashing. I would suggest changing the directions you give. Its so much easier to turn at mile marker 16. Easy beach access and private. Loved the horses! They came right up in the yard. Please follow the riles and enjoy them from a distance.

Amazing Property

We had an amazing time on our trip! We had a full days worth of horse viewing, with horses right in the yard area. The beach is a short drive past the dunes, making it super easy to head over to the beach for the day! Beautiful views despite not being directly on the beach! House was super cute and fit all of our needs!

Great relaxing week

We were looking for a quiet family vacation. This was exactly what we needed. Three mornings. The horses were right up on the property. Short walk to the beach. You are also able to drive up to the beach with your supplies for the day, such as a cooler with food and drinks and a shade canopy

Great Experience

My family and I loved our stay in Corova. Driving on the beaches and seeing the wild horses were amazing. The house was perfect for my family. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked with tools, which is helpful since there’s no restaurants on Corova, plenty of room and great porches to view the scenery. I would definitely return.

Graduation Present

Wonderful family vacation. We saw horses every day and even had them in our side yard. We were only a five minute walk to the beach. The only issue was that the listed place to store vehicles no longer existed and but we were able to find a place. All in all it was a great time on the beach.

So much fun

The house is beautiful and there are horses around frequently. It’s quiet and peaceful. Driving the beach was out of my comfort zone but it ended up being no issue. There is no equipment at the air-down station in town to help you let air out, so we used the air-up station.

House on the beach

The house is in an amazing spot to watch the sunrise. A beach permit is provided to park on the beach. Even though the house is in walking distance it is nice to park on the beach and spend the day relaxing. We didn't not want to leave.

Great Spot

Incredible location and wonderful house. Management staff were very helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay there again. Wild horses surrounded the house every evening. The safari tours were a little annoying as they passed through every 20 minutes or so, but otherwise it was an incredible experience.

Best decision we made!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family visit to Corolla. The location of the house is on point; 5 minute walk from the beach, and not too far of a drive from the paved road. The sand path was actually pretty easy to navigate; both Google Maps and the host sent us super clear directions. And of course, the best part -- WILD HORSES EVERYWHERE! We saw them all day, every day of our stay. On our way out, around 10am, we saw a huge group of 7 horses just taking a morning stroll along the beach right in front of the house. The house was a perfect beach house with a super fun layout. We also had access to a bunch of fun beach toys and equipment that we thoroughly enjoyed. The top balcony gave us one of the best views of the Milky Way and Perseids meteor shower RIGHT above our heads. Definitely a must-stay for anyone who is visiting the Outer Banks!
