Toni was a great host and met us at the door to show us around. She was a wealth of information for the historical home and the local area. We enjoyed our winter adventure on the rocks of Maine. The fireplace and view was well used and loved both morning and evenings. The little porch was great for watching the sea ducks and the loons diving for their meals. We saw at least 5 different ducks. The beds were comfortable and the house was plenty warm with all the blankets you would want. We did a short drive to Kennebunkport for Christmas Prelude and good local beer and chowda. We would like to come back some day.

Your search stops here. We've stayed at homes at the coast and this was by far the best. From the top floor you may as well be floating in the middle of the ocean because all you can see around you is water with the exception of the sunrise coming in the window or the moonlight at night. Just really breathtaking and extraordinary. Property manager was a gem and should be given some sort of property manager award even the owner was in touch when there was a minor problem figuring out how to light the fireplace. Very patient very gracious. Really just the best place ever if I've been unclear.

Amazing property and wonderful hosts

As gorgeous as it looks on the website, it was far and away even better than the pictures. Tons of space inside and out, incredible ocean views, walking distance to amazing public beach. Couldn't have hoped for more.

Beautiful Spot

The house is amazing and perfect for a larger group. The location is amazing and just a short walk from Fortune's Rock Beach. Every single bedroom has an amazing view of the ocean.The only reason I'm not leaving a five-star review is because we had a huge dog tick problem while we were staying in the house. Anytime we spent even a few minutes outside - whether just on the side porch or at the fire pit, or just walking around the yard, someone found a dog tick crawling on them. At one point, we tried sitting at the fire pit and within minutes had ticks crawling all over us. Just something to be aware of! Especially if you have kids or a dog with you.

Great Stay

Overall we had a great stay at the house. Everything was as listed and was close to everything we had planned. The one downfall to the property is that there is very limited comfortable seating in the living room. Other than that everything was perfect.

The house and location were absolutely terrific. Toni was so helpful.So great being able to bring the pups with us who also loved it. waking up or eating lunch with that view is like heaven on earth.

Perfect Location, Perfect View, and Lovely House

6 friends loved staying at this wonderful house and enjoyed hearing the sounds of the waves and the views from EVERY window. Great, Great location. All amenities were provided that we needed. This place did not disappoint. !!!! Toni replied to all my questions before our visit and a few during the visit. Very helpful. We stayed 7 days and wished we could have stayed for a Month. We made great memories and hope to come back in the future. Having the beach within walking distance was great for daily walks.

Location, Location, Location!

This property was beyond our expectations as far as the physical beauty of its location. We left our windows open at night to feel the breeze coming off the ocean and to hear the crashing waves. Beautiful views from all of the rooms, particularly the master bedroom which also has a walk out patio over the garage. The house itself is a bit dated but in a good way; it feels a bit like you are at a nice camp or in my case, my childhood home. It’s very comfortable and home-y feeling. We had everything we needed to cook meals - including having a cookout and enjoying the fire pit. Tony was very attentive and personable as well. We loved the little towns that were close by, too. This is a place I hope to one day visit again!

Wonderful Vacation

Absolutely stunning oceanfront property in Maine! The cozy house provided a perfect Thanksgiving retreat for a 3-night stay. Breathtaking views, well-equipped amenities, and the sound of waves crashing made it a memorable experience. Ideal for a family getaway or a peaceful escape. The only downside was having to leave this tranquil haven!

Perfect home, perfect location

The outside of the house is new yet inside still has that lovely old Maine summer house feel - which for us, is a perfect combination. All rooms (other than kitchen and bathroom) look out at the rocky Maine coast. Every bed in the house has an ocean view so, you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves crashing. There are two porches on either side of the house. Therefore, you can choose between sun and shade at any time of the day. The house is a short walking distance from one of Maine’s finest sandy beaches. The grown ups could take long walks on the beach, and the teens could go back and forth to the beach easily for boogie boarding and surfing. So far, we’ve stayed two years in a row and it is already our favorite part of the summer. It is a perfect place to spend time with the entire family. In the evenings, we sat by the fire or played board games around the kitchen table.

A perfect stay…again

We came here as a family two summers ago and loved it so much- we came back with another family this summer. The house is amazing/charming…but as with most realty- it’s location, location, location. The house grounds themselves are superb: waves crashing on rocks, fire pit patio, etc. But you’re also a 5 min walk to fortunes rock beach and a 13 min drive to Kennebunkport. Can’t wait to find time to come a 3rd time!

Clean house gorgeous views

It's an older house, but it is super clean and you absolutely cannot beat the views. The house was so well prepared for our arrival. We felt so welcome. We enjoyed every part of the house: the deck, the porch, the fire pit, and the living room with the gas fireplace during rain storms. It was a destination house for us. We ate all meals on property because no where else could be our view. We are planning to return :)

A needed rest in Winter

We love this property and its location. We rested in its tranquillity and beauty and couldn’t have been happier! This is our second visit and, hopefully, it will be an annual event. Renting during winter is great . We walked most days and had the beaches to ourselves. Last year we had storms, but loved that since we had dramatic views of crashing waves on the rocks. Really, when you look out the windows it’s like you are looking at a Winslow Homer painting. The views of the ocean and rocky shores can be seen from all rooms. We also enjoy the early American style of this cottage and its furnishings. We highly recommend a stay at OceanSpray.

Winter getaway

Beautiful property! Stunning views and awesome outdoor fire pit!! We loved the cozy living room with ocean views on one side and stone fireplace on the other. Kitchen and bathroom could use some updating but are fully functional. Property manager was super helpful and pleasant. Loved that it was dog friendly too. Would highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway anytime of the year.

My grandparents bought 10 Oceanspray in the early 1950s, after it was rebuilt from the Great Fires of 1947. It was passed down to my mother, who brought our family to the house every summer as we were growing up. Now the third generation family owner, we have been busy refurbishing so that our home will continue to bring family, friends, and you the spectacular Maine coastal scenery, relaxing days on the beach, and other magical memories it has brought us. In fact, all our rental earnings are invested back into the house.

We hope our oceanfront retreat will be as special to you as it is to us, and that you'll come back year after year!
