Discover the charm of Crete at our single-storey, three-bedroom villa, exquisitely designed and crafted with an abundance of stone and wood to meet the highest standards. Nestled on a gentle slope, at the outskirts of the picturesque village of Asteri, this villa offers a tranquil retreat for your vacation.



Ideal for accommodating 6-7 guests, Eros villa boasts a private 40-square-meter swimming pool, complete with a separate kids' section measuring 2x2 meters, as well as a stone-built BBQ area. The well-appointed outdoor space is furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas and patio furniture, creating the perfect setting for sunbathing. The swimming pool enjoys ample sunlight throughout the day and includes a safe area for children to play and swim. From the front of the house, you can savor sweeping views of the serene countryside and catch distant glimpses of the sea from the spacious sun terrace.



Step inside to discover delightful, airy interiors adorned with high, beamed wooden ceilings and stone-accented walls, complemented by contemporary and elegant furnishings. A flight of stone steps from the garden leads to the main entrance, where you'll find a generously sized open-plan living area featuring a cozy corner fireplace, twin sofa beds for children, coffee tables, satellite TV, a dining table, and a modern kitchen equipped with a dishwasher. Air conditioning is available for your comfort.



The villa spans approximately 125 square meters and offers two twin bedrooms, one of which opens to the front terrace, while the other featuring a spacious veranda. Both twin bedrooms share a well-appointed bathroom with a bathtub and WC. The third bedroom is a double, complete with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and WC, as well as a washing machine.All bedrooms have individual a/c (cooling and heating).



Surrounded by lush countryside, including olive and orange trees, the villa provides a serene and relaxing atmosphere, ensuring an unforgettable holiday experience. The charming village of Asteri is situated just 14 kilometers east of the bustling town of Rethymnon, with the nearest beach only 3 kilometers away.

Fantastic house in Crete!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is beautifully situated in the wonderful Greek countryside with a view on the sea. The house is very clean and we received clean towels frequently and the pool and house were cleaned daily. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definately come back and visit your lovely house again! Greetings from William, Saskia, David, Lukas and Samuel

Fabulous

The property is fabulous, nice view, nice pool, nice terrace to dine together, the grill, the masonry oven, dedicated air conditioning in every room, the terrace access from every bedroom. The host is really helpful and friendly. It's all you can ask for, I would book again without second thoughts. Not necessarily an improvement point, but without a rental car it would be challenging to access it.

Eine wunderschöne Villa mit einer sehr freundlichen Gastgeberin. Vom Pool sieht man das Meer. Es gibt viele Plätze zum Entspannen. Auch die Taverne um die Ecke ist ausgesprochen empfehlenswert, lecker und auch noch preiswert. Es war eine rundum schöne Woche.

Fantastisk skønt sted/Villa

Er man til en stille og rolig landsby, i en pæn og velholdt villa, med alt det nødvendige, og en smuk udsigt, så er Villa Eros et rigtig godt valg. Absolut skøn beliggenhed, og rolige omgivelser. Husets rengøringskone (Roula) er absolut en skøn kvinde, som vil gøre alt for at man får et godt ophold. Kan varmt anbefale denne villa, hvis man ønsker den Græske idyl. Fem stjerner ;-)

Amazing family holiday

What a beautiful location Villa Eros is. It has stunning views, that weren't expected when dining outside every evening & the pool was great. We were a family of 5 - 1 baby 7 months. The pictures genuinely don't do it justice & its walking distance to a taverna, a cafe & a lovely restaurant. Easy to get a taxi to Rethymnon, but id suggest rent a car. Steps to pool which were fine, but if you had toddlers it might make it a bit more difficult. Amazing stay, owners are simply lovely & would recommend to anyone.

En helt perfekt bolig til en afslappende ferie. Lækker poolområde og dejlige terrasserne, som altid giver mulighed for at være i sol eller skygge efter behov. Masser af plads indenfor. Masser af service, så det ikke var nødvendigt at vaske op hele tiden. Værtinden var utrolig sød og hjælpsom. Der er gode spisesteder i gåafstand, men det er helt nødvendigt at have bil for at klare indkøb. Det var meget svært af finde boligen ud fra den modtagne vejbeskrivelse, (men det har ikke noget med villaen at gøre). Vi plottede Asteri ind på IPhonen og kørte efter den, da beskrivelsen var ubrugelig. En meget anbefalelsesværdig feriebolig (vi var 5 voksne)

Tolles kretisches Ferienhaus mit traumhaften Meerblick

So wie auf den Bildern sieht es im Haus aus. Es ist nicht nagelneu und modern, sondern hat einen tollen kretischen Charme mit viel Naturstein und Holzmöbeln. Alles ist intakt und funktionstüchtig, ob Herd, Geschirrspüler oder Waschmaschine. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat eine eigene Terrasse. Das Grundstück ist links und rechts von Olivenhainen umgeben. Ein toller Ort um zu entspannen. Der Pool (großes tiefes Becken und angrenzender Kinderpool) liegen überhalb des Hauses umgeben von der Terrasse. Schon ab morgens gibt es den ganzen Tag dort Sonne. Von dort sieht man das Meer wunderbar - wir haben dort immer gefrühstückt und auch abends den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Auf dieser Terrasse steht ein großer Eßtisch (geeignet für 8 Personen). Auf der überdachten Nordseitenterrasse ist ebenfalls ein großer Eßtisch mit 8 Sitzgelegenheiten. Bis Sfakaki benötigt man mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten, also fernab vom Rummel und nah dran für alle weiteren Erledigungen. Die Eigentümerin Roula ist sehr nett. Sie kommt vorbei und kümmert sich um den Pool, gibt Reisetipps und spricht sehr gut Deutsch. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von ihr empfangen, obwohl es weit nach Mitternacht war! Unsere ganze Familie (inkl. 2 Kinder) hat sich im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und wir würden auf alle Fälle wieder das Haus buchen! Im Ort gleich um die Ecke zu Fuß ist ein tolles kleines Restaurant Poliou House (Familienbetrieb). Von außen nicht als Restaurant zu erkennen (auch ein Museum ist intergriert). Aber der tolle Innenhof und die Atmosphäre und das leckere Essen sind einmalig. Jeden Donnerstag ist Kretischer Abend mit Musik und Tanz. Ein ganz tolles Mit-Mach-Erlebnis, denn da tanzen alle mit!!!

Schöner Urlaub im Norden von Kreta

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, das Objekt zu finden (ging dann aber mit Nachfragen bei Ortskundigen) waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und entspricht genau der Beschreibung im Inserat. Hier können problemlos 6 Personen übernachten. Aufgrund der jahrszeitbedingten Temperaturen haben wir den ungeheizten Pool zwar nicht oft benutzt, aber man hat von dort eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Umgebung und das Meer. Das Housekeeping ist sehr ordentlich und die Unterkunft wird zweimal in der Woche gereinigt. Das Einzige, was ein wenig besser sein könnte: Es gibt eine schier unüberschaubare Anzahl von Lampen und Leuchten, aber das "Wohnzimmer und insbesondere die Küchenzeile lässt sich nicht wirklich hell beleuchten. Das stört ein wenig, wenn man sich selbst versorgt. Alles in allem ist aber dieses Objekt sehr zu empfehlen. Der Ort ist sehr übersichtlich, aber es gibt ein hervorragendes Restaurant im Museum. Schnell sind viele sehenswere Orte in der Umgebung zu erreichen. Das Anmieten eines KFZ ist allerdings unabdingbar.

We had a perfect stay there.., pictures do not reflect all the house commodities inside. It is a modern building in a traditional style, spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living room.., 3 outside sitting areas including pool area.., olive beautiful views. The owner was very helpful and nice. Very nice quiet village not far from an excellent traditional tavern. Thank you Roula! Arina&Co

Die Zimmertüren sind durchweg verzogen.

Die Küchenzeile ist stark verschmutzt und müsste eine Generalüberholung erhalten. Es wurde eine überzogene Außenbeleuchtung installiert, im Innern, speziell der Küche tastet man jedoch fast im Dunklen. Ansonsten als Relaxurlaub ok, Auto jedoch dringend erforderlich.
