Home was clean with many amenities. The yard was big with plenty to do for the kids. Great beach, good for walking and sand castle building. Bring your water shoes as lake is rocky but there is a nice sand bar just past the rocks. The water was nice and warm at beginning of week but storms came through mid-week and got very chilly. Saugatuck and South Haven are not far away and we enjoyed restaurants, putt putt and shopping. We had ages from 2 to seniors and everyone enjoyed their stay. Check in was easy and Chris was very responsive to emails. Thanks for a good week.

We had 11 people in our group - three generations from 7 to 70, and this house had everything we needed. The private beach and beautiful lake views were the best parts, but the kids also loved the tennis court, large yard, and basement bunk room! The family room is even bigger than it looks in pictures and offered beautiful views. The location of this home is amazing! Very short drive to many great towns.

Beautiful getaway

The house is beautiful, clean, safe. We had family from ages 7 weeks old to 75 years old, and all were in awe of the beautiful view of the lake from the many common spaces. We had a wonderful time!

Best Lakeside Adventure

Beautiful, well-kept lakeside property. The home was clean, spacious, updated and well-stocked with everything you need. Chris is the Property Manager and is quick to answer all your questions, extremely helpful. We had a group of six adults and had the time of our lives - fully enjoyed the deck, the breath-taking sunsets and the firepit at night. THANK YOU CHRIS for an amazing Michigan adventure. We will definitely book here again!

Beautiful property!

My group stayed for 3 nights with 6 adults and 1 toddler. We had plenty of room for all of us! The view from the house is gorgeous, and the beach access is so convenient. The house itself was very clean and well-maintained. We would all stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lake Michigan sunsets

We are a group of older women on our annual gathering. Enjoyed days on the beach and evenings around the campfire. The rocky beach and lake presented a challenge for some, but we managed it with shoes. The house had everything we needed and is a beautiful place to enjoy Michigan's greatest lake. We loved every minute!

60th Birthday Celebration

Wonderful stay for 7 lifelong friends to celebrate our 60th birthdays. So many spots for us to gather and hang out. Water views were stunning! Comfy beds, updated home, located among mansions and very private. Very responsive property manager.

Great Location

Location - property location was excellent, close proximity to the beach, can see the sunset from the deck. The beach was a bit rocky, so would recommend bringing water shoes if you plan on swimming. Check-in process - the host was flexible and let us check in early, but was just given a code to the door, and got no directions on how to get there. We went down the wrong road initially per google maps. Upon check-in - there was a one page document with places to eat, and the wifi password, no other details about the property or the area were provided. Communication with property manager was excellent before the stay, quick responses and very flexible. After the stay I reached out 13 days ago, and have not received a response. Cleanliness - to me this seemed like a typical family beach home that is not occupied most of the time (marks on the walls, musty smell in the basement, wires hanging out of the ceiling where lights use to be, holes in the screen in the screened in porch). It is at the end of the rental season, so I am sure that something to do with it. We did encounter a couple mice during the stay, which I am sure is common for for this kind of home, but was a first for me at a rental property. Connectivity - the entire group got spotty cell service at best which would have been good to know this going into it - YMMV. Wifi is provided but coverage throughout the home, including the main tv for streaming, is also spotty at best.

Another great week!

This was our second year renting this home and it was another wonderful vacation. The house is always clean and ready to go. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The best part, according to my kids is the beach and yard. The screened in porch is also a very popular place to hang. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Fantastic spot on the lake

Everything was exactly as described in the listing. So very thankful, especially for our Grammy, to have access to a beautiful beach without a bunch of stairs. The yard was perfect for family games of softball, spud, catch, fires and smores. A word of warning about the beach… make sure you bring water shoes! There are lots of rocks in the water—large and small—that make the walk in a little bit painful! The screened in porch was the perfect place to relax at dusk to enjoy the sounds and scenes and family without worrying g about bugs getting you. And the view from the living room every morning was breathtaking. For us it was a dream fulfilled to be right on the lake like that. We already booked our stay for next summer and cannot wait

Fantastic Stay

This property was amazing, the perfect location for people of all ages. Plenty for teens to do to occupy themselves for a long weekend without having to leave. Sunsets were amazing even on a cloudy evening. Great stay!

Michigan Reunion Perfection

Perfect location with incredible views of Lake Michigan. The house had everything we needed, was clean and the layout was wonderful for gathering for conversations, games, relaxing and enjoying the private beach. Easy drive to restaurants and area attractions. Chris was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This is the one!

Our group of high school friends, all woman of a certain age ;), stayed at this home for three nights. Location is convenient to South Haven, Saugatuck, and Holland. Very quiet and private to return to in the evening after exploring. The sunset views were amazing. Private beach was amazing. Fire pit was amazing (wood provided). There is also a tennis court and ping pong table for guests use. House was well stocked and clean. Plenty of kitchen gear if you want to cook. Plenty of bath towels and washcloths provided. We may be making this an annual trip! Thanks for letting us visit your home. Forgot to mention the screened in porch and large deck with wonderful views of the lake! Five stars all around!

Lake MI in Fall

Gorgeous view & loved sound of waves. Family reunion with 8 adults in October. Plenty of room to spread out or gather with enough seating, large dining table and beds. Down bedroom is a little chilly but there were extra blankets. Kitchen stocked with dishes, pots, utensils to prep food. Outdoor firepit was a hit. Owner is communicative & prompt with responses. We recommend!
