Private Beach and Endless Water

Barbara I would welcome you back anytime. I apologize for the internet providers dropping the ball, they assured me the would have had it operational before you arrived but ran into an issue during the install. It was back up and running later the day you left. I had asked you to be patient as I was traveling for a wedding and going to be off island for a couple days, which is a rarity during summer months. I live on the island, just 5 min down the road and can quickly be to the property to help with anything that may arise.

WIth over 45 prior bookings in the past 2 years I have not made a insurance claims until yesterday after your departure. No the screen door was not in perfect condition but when I was there Saturday to pick up trash the screen door was not hanging in pieces, but when i was there Sunday after you had left it was, there was also a large dent in the front door, the trim around the door had a hole in it and the screws holding the mount for the gas shock had been ripped from the wall. I have pictures to support my claim that I submitted to the insurance. Also you told me that you and your fiance where to be traveling to the island with your parents for your wedding. When i was there Saturday I arrived to see 9 cars and what appeared to be a dozen or more people, I could not see how many where in the house. You did not inform me that you where having the wedding on the property, or that you would be hosting that many people. If that would have been the case you would have had to pay a event fee and additional event insurance. You were a welcome quest on our property and you were dishonest and took advantage of us. Then to be upset when one of your guests, possibly unbeknownst to you caused damage forcing me to file a claim for those damages to cover my repair costs.
