Spirit Lodge- Log Cabin with Large front porch

Spirit Lodge is located 10 minutes from downtown Madeline Island, and is just over a minute drive from the beautiful Big Bay Town Park. We have one full bedroom with a queen bed and tv, one bathroom, and a loft with a queen bed. Our main level has a kitchen, eating area, couch, dining table, and a wood stove fireplace. The basement is just partially finished, but available for you to use. While you are here at Spirit Lodge, we hope you are able to spend plenty of time enjoying our large from porch that over looks the front yard. The front yard is yours to enjoy, it is the perfect place to gather and enjoy a fire. Our year round home is located about 100 feet from Spirit Lodge.

We love our log cabin and are very happy to have others enjoy the space! Please reach out with any questions.

    We had a great time at Spirit Lodge. Everything was clean and as shown in the pictures. Owners were friendly and there was even more basic household items available than expected. Easy to get to but not right by town, so very quiet and cozy. Firepit and indoor wood stove with firewood provided were very nice.

    Our cabin was clean and perfect for our needs. Very cute interior and comfy beds for a good night rest. Great front porch for sitting and having morning coffee. Our 2dogs loved it too! Thanks so much for a great week!!!

    Quiet Woodsy Retreat

    Spirit Lodge was a secluded and natural retreat in the woods within driving minutes to the beautiful Town Park adjacent to Big Bay State Park. The deck and fire area are fantastic spots to relax and enjoy the quiet and nature. The kitxhen had everything we needed to cook meals, abundant games and a nkce TV for movie watching. The loft was cozy, but keep your head low. Olivia responds to all messahes and it was easy to checkin and out.

    Lovely Spot

    We had a wonderful time at the Spirit Lodge. With family camping at the Town Park, this location was great for us to stay with the baby. Olivia and Evan maintained privacy, but were kind and reaponsive when a small issue came up that needed their attention. Highly recommend!

    Weekend getaway

    My husband, 3yr old and 3mth old had a great long weekend at spirit lodge! My son loved the loft and the big yard. We explore the island and had some nice down time. Loved the location close to big bay park. Hope to be back again soon!

    Perfect Little Getaway

    A very cozy little cabin! Perfect size for two or small family. Very accommodating hosts. Wonderful weather! Great place to relax; lovely fire pit outdoors. Kitchenware was well stocked. Close to beach and forest for adventuring. Well utilized space. We would very much enjoy returning!!

    Very peaceful and comfortable getaway. Accommodations exceeded expectations. Appreciated the actual driving directions since cell coverage is sketchy on the island! Beautiful location. Host is close by in case anything come up.

    Rural getaway

    We really enjoyed the rural location, ease of getting to the shoreline and cleanliness of the cabin. The pictures of the loft are deceiving as the headroom is only 4 ft. There’s not even enough room to put the bedside lamp on a table. It would be fine for children but not for adults. The host was very cordial and personally greeted us as they live on the property.

    Great place to 'Refresh Your Spirit!'

    I recently stayed at the Spirit Lodge with three of my children (18,15,13) and we all had a fantastic time. The location was perfect as we were able to bike to the Town Park for beach time and canoeing. We were also able to explore the State Park as it was just a short drive away. The lodge was exceptionally clean and had all the necessary amenities. We will definitely be back in the future!

    A Great Way to Enjoy the Island

    Spirit Lodge is a great place to stay on Madeline Island! The cabin is clean, comfortable, and really lovely. It's just outside of town, a quiet and peaceful spot. Very close to the beach for plenty of opportunities to enjoy the lake. We loved our stay!
