La suite de invitados se encuentra en el primer piso, con una entrada privada (lo siento, no se admiten sillas de ruedas, sube 8 escalones). Acogedor, limpio, aislado y tranquilo 10 acres, encaramado en un acantilado a 190 'sobre el Océano Pacífico y la Playa Secreta con impresionantes vistas al océano. Hay una mini nevera, cafetera, microondas y hervidor de agua caliente.

Suelos de gres en toda la habitación y amplio baño privado.
Gran terraza privada mirando las pilas del océano Pacífico y el mar. El camino de acceso público hasta la cubierta de la playa está en la propiedad. Este sendero es hermoso pero empinado y típicamente fangoso en invierno o durante fuertes lluvias.

La propiedad está aislada y no es visible desde la carretera.

Amazing get-a-way

Property manager was very accommodating & left some special touches that made out trip. We didn't pay attention to no kitchenette, however the microwave & mini fridge was perfect for quick breakfast & housing our sack lunches. The private beach & peaceful seclusion from town...2nd to none! Was in a centralized location to all the Redwood ventures on our list & grabbing dinner in Trinidad (the cutest, quite little town) was pleasant as well. We actually stopped back through to walk the pier & beach on our way back to the airport. TRULY the best spot to enjoy the California Coastal Redwoods!

Wonderful location and host

Beautiful room with amazing views of the ocean. John added a lot of special extras and was responsive when we needed something. If we go back to Trinidad we will stay at the Secret Beach Again.

Very comfortable with an amazing view in the Redwood Forest.

The lovely suite is very comfortable, and the property owner was great. The deck has an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean, and access to the water. The town of Trinidad is small and charming with a beach to walk while enjoying gorgeous sunsets. The location in the Redwood Forest is perfect for exploration of the many trails and landmarks.

Great stay and wonderful host.

Let the reviews speak for themselves. This place is five star all the way. John was a wonderful host. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed including breakfast for the first morning, fresh filtered water, fresh flowers, and detailed recommendations for the next leg our trip. The space was exactly as listed… even better. Super clean and private. Very comfortable bed and nice plush towels. Stay here! But beware .. you will be spoiled!

Beautiful spot, perfect facilities!

The property is beautiful and the view is superb! The room is clean and modern and just what is needed for two people. Trail access is a nice bonus. John is a marvelous host who is attentive to guests needs, but completely non-intrusive! In fact, while we communicated via text messages, we never met face-to-face, although he made it clear that we could meet if we chose to do so. We just loved this place and our stay at Secret Beach!

Great room, cute town

We loved our stay at Secret beach! The whole property is beautiful and well maintained with a gorgeous view of the ocean! The room was super cozy, really clean, and had just about everything we needed. Communication with the owner was also very easy and reliable. Trinidad is a cute little town that we wandered through, and found a great little hike just out of the beach parking lot. 100 percent recommend!

Rest and relaxation!!!

Great place for a couples retreat! The view of the ocean is amazing. John is a great host. The complimentary bread is a nice touch. This is our second summer staying at this property and it does not disappoint. We look forward to beating the valley heat again next summer with a return stay!

Very Special Place

Wonderful and amazing view, very peaceful and private, impeccably clean, with very nice and comfy bedding. It is an easy walk to College Cove beach which is spectacular. John does a great job of making you feel welcome, but giving you your privacy also. A truly unique and remarkable location. We can't wait to return!

Hidden Gem

This hidden gem captures your heart before you even reach the property! As we were approaching the property we were in awe with the beauty of the forest. John was so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. He told us about an event in town that he thought we might enjoy and had a fresh loaf of sour dough bread and hard boiled eggs in the room as a welcome. I have already told a few friends about this amazing find!! Don’t think any longer, this is a great spot. We spent a day exploring downtown Trinidad and learning about the history of this beautiful areas! I would definitely come back if I ever make it back to the area. It was a wonderful mother/daughter stay. John’s pictures are right on! I hope you find yourself there one day!

Our first sea side stay.

We love this place, totally private and secret. John is the perfect host. The couple minutes it takes from town to the SBR… is amazing all by itself. The small secret beach was a bit slippery and muddy close to the bottom but we made it down. The deck is unbelievable and the room was really clean and nice. I would stay again.

Deserving of its perfect ratings! From a seasoned trader.

Gorgeous location, breathtaking ocean/ sea-stack views. Big west facing deck with great chairs & a roof protecting from all but the most blowing rains. Many coastal hiking trails, very close by. Cozy super clean room/bath, well stocked with lots of little extras. John is a most accommodating & wonderful host! Very available if you need him but invisible if you want privacy. Great Wi-Fi. Solar battery back up if the power goes out ( very common in these parts in winter). All the positive reviews for the Secret Beach Retreat are well deserved! Thanks John for sharing this beautiful piece of Nature with us!

Ocean view/Private/Secret Beach

Nothing beats that ocean view. It was absolutely beautiful. When I booked the place I wasnt aware the owner lived on the property, I was a little hesitant but in all 4 days spent there I didnt see a soul. Very private. The hike down to the beach is frosting on cake. Bring an extra pair of hiking boots lots of mud and water on all near by trails. Would def stay here again. ♡

Gorgeous Spot and Excellent Host

I was blown away by this property. In addition to a million dollar view, the room is clean and thoughtfully equipped. John provides excellent communication and is very helpful. He knows how to give guests privacy and also make himself accessible if needed. I cannot recommend this enough. We would love to visit again.

Excellent little quiet getaway for solo travelers or couples. The view from the property and the deck is breathtakingly beautiful. I got a chance to meet the property owner John, and he was very friendly and more than happy to provide any information I needed. The local loaf of bread and hard boiled eggs left in the room for guests were a nice touch. Lots of local eateries with a mile of the property. I hope I get a chance to visit again soon.

Amazing View

The host was very attentive--he even provided a loaf of bread for our arrival. The place was modern and very clean. The view of the ocean was outstanding! We will be back!
