My husband and I visited Maui and Wailea for the first time and wanted to stay in a more intimate, non-hotel resort setting. We could not have picked a better place. Tim's island home exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and well-maintained (looks just like the pictures!), clean, and cozy. Extra points for the complimentary Maui coffee and the selection of books for reading on the beach. We also had a handy guide to restaurants nearby and tried almost all of them! Communication was great, and the community grounds were also beautiful (try taking your beach chairs out to the lawn to watch the sunset or lay your towels down at night to stargaze!). Access to the beach and boardwalk is super convenient. Hopefully will be back soon!

Wonderful as advertised!

What you see is what you get, and that's a very good thing. The owner was amazing at communication as he was proactive in letting us know what to expect for check in and answered questions in a very timely manner.The area the condo is in is unique in that the building numbers are not always in order as one might expect. That said, a little walk around the area gets you familiar quickly and of course our owner left us a map which was helpful. We had rented a studio intentionally as we left the kids at home and it worked out beautifully for our needs. Any bigger would have been unnecessary. We loved that the pools were heated and that we could stay in the water for hours is desired. The pavilion area is just wonderful and we could see ourselves maybe doing a bigger family gathering because of it one day. Having the beach and pool area so close together also made our days extra enjoyable. 10/10, would be hard to go elsewhere after staying here.

Perfect vacation getaway

Tim’s place (16 B) is the perfect spot for two. It had everything we needed for our vacation and more. I was actually a little concerned that it would be too small because it is a one room bungalow. However. I was so pleasantly surprised. The layout is perfect and has a separate bath, kitchen, and seating area. The lanai opens up to a gorgeous green space and comes complete with everything needed for the beach. Bamboo privacy blinds give total privacy in the evening and keep the early morning sun at bay until wake up time. The beach is a two minute walk on the path through the beautiful grounds of Ekahi Vilkage. We really appreciated all of the little extras that Tim provided. We even had a Band-Aid for the occasional scrape while snorkeling. It felt like home. We would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect Hawaiian Getaway at Maui Ekahi 16B

I recently stayed at Maui Ekahi 16B with my daughter for a week, and it exceeded all my expectations. The condo itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. I particularly enjoyed dining on the spacious lanai. The bedroom was cozy, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. What truly sets Maui Ekahi 16B apart is the attention to detail and the personal touches provided by the hosts. They were incredibly responsive and helpful, offering great recommendations for local dining and activities. Overall, my stay at Maui Ekahi 16B was unforgettable. Great Condo!

This condo is perfect for 2 adults. It is located right next to the Andaz and by walking south on the beach, you will find the popular two-mile sidewalk that runs above the beach from the Andaz down to the Fairmont. The condo has a nice view of the beach from the lanai. The owner has made sure that the condo is well-stocked. The kitchen is the size you would find in an apartment. It has pots, pans, food storage containers, assorted drinkware, eating and cooking utensils, a microwave, a stove, a toaster, a coffee maker, and several containers of spices. The bed is king-size and you can adjust the firmness of the mattress on either side of the bed. There are extra pillows and blankets for the bed. There is an ample assortment of towels: wash clothes, hand towels, bath towels, beach towels and blankets. Under the bathroom sink is nail polish remover, sun screen, bandaids and hydrogen peroxide. The shower includes shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen has dishwasher soap, a new sponge, liquid dish soap, windex, all-purpose cleaner, as well as laundry soap for the condo washer/dryer. The lanai has a table, chairs, and two lounge chairs. Also included is beach chairs, umbrella, and a wagon to take to the beach. This condo is conveniently located near a grocery store in the The Shops at Wailea, and nearby Kihea has other grocery stores also. This owner has thought of everything! We have stayed in 5-star hotels several times in Wailea, and we are very pleased with this condo!

We have long visited Maui, and have stayed in many of the various Ekahi apartments available. This is a good one and great for those who don’t mind families enjoying the lawn to the front of the property during sun downers and dinner etc

Anniversary Trip to Hawaii

Wailea Ekahi is a wonderful property. The grounds are beautiful and quiet with easy access to the beach. The pool and pavilion area are very nice. Condo 16B was nice and clean and Timothy is an amazing host who is very gracious and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, amenities, and view

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this spacious , attractive and comfortable studio, and especially the beautiful view from the patio. The village landscaping is gorgeous and the short walks to the pool, beach, ramada and walking path along the beach were convenient and never crowded. Short drives on easy roads to shopping and destinations such as Hana Rd, Lahaina and Macawao made the location perfect.

Lovely and charming Hawaiian hideaway!

We had such a wonderful stay here! I can’t say enough good things about the condo, it’s amenities, and the great location! The condo is in a great community with easy access to pools, the beach, and just a short walk to the Shops at Wailea. The condo itself is nicely decorated and furnished, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and super clean! We enjoyed the large patio with a view down the hill to the ocean; overlooking a beautiful greenway with lots of native flowers and trees. Tim, the host, is very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would mostly definitely book this condo again for future visits to Maui!

A little slice of heaven

We love Ekahi and have stayed in many units here. This studio space is perfect for a couple, very spacious, very well stocked, lots of nice fluffy towels and super comfortable bed! Beautiful sunsets right from the patio. I highly recommend to Mrs. or Mr. Picky.

The property was beautiful, it had everything we needed to survive a week in Hawaii. We were able to cook using the stove and microwave, we did laundry in the unit without having to go to a centralized laundromat too. This place felt like home while my wife and I were there.

Excellent stay in Wailea

We loved the condo and location. It’s a short 5 minute walk to the private beach. The residence wasn’t crowded. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need for a week stay. The patio is nice because the views are incredible and there is a grill available to use if you want to cook at home. Would definitely stay again! This is our second time staying in this condo. Thank you for a great stay!

My name is Timothy Ewart. Several years ago while in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I got involved with renting. I have moved back to Calgary, Alberta and purchased a condominium in Maui; I am very excited to start renting it out to my guests.

This property has 34 acres of lush tropical gardens and less than a 5 minute walk (down hill) to the amazing Keawakapu beach. The expanse and the beauty of the grounds and 4 pools make for a very relaxed environment.

Very quiet unit; away from road noise. Close to the Ocean Front Board Walk, the mile long Keawakapu Beaches and the shops at Wailea (with many excellent restaurants and shops). It is across the street from Wailea's Blue Golf Course and a short drive to the other world class Wailea courses.
