John is a great host and the house is in the perfect location. Our children and grandchildren joined us for a family vacation and we had a wonderful time with more space than we needed. The house has everything you could need. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to the Vineyard!!

Location, location, location! John was a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay Having stayed on the Island with my family for a week every summer for 30 years I would have to say…the property, location and host truly cant be beat!

Nicest House in Edgatown

The pictures don’t do this property justice. Much larger than you’d expect and there is plenty of room and bathrooms. The outside shower was a nice addition as well as the fire pit. We hope to stay again!

Wonderful family memories made!

This property is perfect…location, home set up and yard are all thoughtfully equipped to accommodate guests. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen for preparing family meals and the outdoor table and fireplace for outdoor dining. John was instantly responsive to any needs. Wonderful experience!

Great week in Edgartown!

We had a great week in Edgartown with our family! The house was amazing! Great location, short walk to town for dinner or ice cream! Fuller St beach and Edgartown lighthouse! Had great dinners at the house and sat around the outdoor fireplace. Wonderful home! John was super responsive and helpful throughout the week. We really enjoyed our stay!

It is wonderful just thinking about how much my husband and teenaged daughters and I enjoyed about Jon’s property. Here’s a lightning round of good stuff.: 1) location— it’s sits right on the beautiful and cozy Edgartown July 4 parade route. My teenagers loved that!2) the home was appointed and stocked with everything we needed to just unpack and feel like we were right at home. And it was very clean3) there were a lot of things to do on our first visit to MV. The home’s shed contained bicycles, boogie boards, and all sorts of things that we would need for fun at the beach and beyond. 4) John’s friendly neighbors introduced themselves plus, we made new friends all over Edgartown.

What an incredible property! Not only was the home itself perfect and meticulously maintained, but the location was ideal for walking to downtown Edgartown. John was also a great communicator and made the entire process a breeze. Highly recommended!

We happily returned to 37 Morse Street for another family vacation in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard. The house is perfect for family gatherings and stocked with everything you need. The location is ideal and the owner is incredibly thoughtful.

Amazing Place

This was our second time at 37 Morse. It is absolutely the best house for our family! The house is beautiful and spacious for a big family! Everything is close by! John is a great host! Responsive, helpful, and always available.

Vineyard comfort

Home was warm and welcoming. All of us enjoyed every minute of our stay. Easy walkability to town. All the comforts of home. Would love to stay there again on any return visit.

Wonderful rental!

Top notch! We found everything to be very clean and the rental had all of the amenities needed for our stay. They even had bikes in the shed! We loved that we could easilly walk into Edgartown and walk to the beach with the dogs. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Immaculate house and garden a short stroll into the center of town

Our host was an excellent communicator and made certain to answer all our questions in advance. Entry to the property is easy and convenient, and he was also able to recommend very good housekeepers for our stay. This property is a lovely, fully renovated antique house in an absolutely delightful neighborhood full of gardens, picket fences and lovely classic Vineyard houses. Very short walk to the beach or the Chappy ferry, wonderful walking just in the neighborhood with gorgeous gardens full of hydrangea, boxwood hedges and dahlias. Beautiful street lamps and antique houses all around on Starbuck (next street over). The house had a perfectly appointed kitchen with top end appliances and all tools for sophisticated home cooks. The entertainment system was also high quality. The house, while antique, is beautifully restored and solidly constructed with broad, polished floors and substantial furniture. We had two older people with mobility issues in our party, but the downstairs bedrooms were good for them, and they only had to negotiate a couple of steps up and down. We had a wonderful time riding the brand new bicycles over to East beach on Chappy and cycling to the grocery store. There were only a couple of small downsides to the visit: the neighborhood, while gorgeous, can be very busy during the weekday with the many staff around who keep it so well manicured: a lot of mowing and yard work is often going on in neighboring yards, and if you bring your pups along, be sure to leash them going out in the yard at night, as there is a neighborhood skunk around. Overall it was a five star stay and we would love to return to this house another time.

We brought two families to 37 Morse Street and had a fabulous time. The house is lovely and the location couldn’t be better. Wish we could stay longer!!!
