Okay!

Remote location but about 30 minutes from St Simons and an hour from Jacksonville. Relatively clean. Very spacious.

Comfortable place

My employees stayed for the weekend while in town working. The house was clean and comfy. It had everything needed during the stay and they liked the location of being close to places to eat.

The property was awesome. Much bigger than it looked online. Well stocked with towels and bed linen. Would definitely book again. Loved it!

House served the purpose for us to attend a wedding in Brunswick and still get some beach time in at Jekyll.

Easy going

We were in Brunswick for our daughter's wedding and needed a place bug enough for our family of 7. This house gave us plenty of room for everyone. There weren't many options to begin with and for the price. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to find and not far from shopping, dini and gas stations. The main bedroom has a good sized bathroom and closet and the seating area is a nice bonus. I'd definitely recommend and the host is easy to communicate with.

Future Stay

Due to the misfortune of the AC compressor failing, the property owner contacted me in advance informing of my options should I wish to stay or a refund since the repair would be completed afterwards. He was great to work with and I would stay here in the future when given the opportunity to do so.

Beautiful home, with lots of issues

Our stay in Brunswick, Ga was absolutely terrible! For starters, the house was extremely dirty. We had to clean the bathtubs in both bathrooms. One had bugs in the tub and the other one had a thick grey ring in it. The shower in the master bath had so much hair stuck to the walls that I was completely grossed out. The walls, door jams and floors were absolutely filthy, ceiling fans caked with dust, cob webs on the light fixtures, etc. The grass in the yard was so high, that the house looked abandoned from the outside. Literally, the ONLY house in the neighborhood with high grass. There were multiple chairs through the house that were broken. My mom went to sit down in one of the chairs and part of the leg fell off, several others had wobbly, loose legs, so we didn't utilize the dining table at all. To add insult to injury, the damn air conditioner on the main level did not work. It was literally an icebox upstairs and a sauna on the main level. I contacted the host and was told that adjustments were made on their end and to allow it to run for 3 hours and we should feel a difference. Needless to say, we definitely felt a difference, because the temperature continued to rise. It was literally 85° inside the house. The host said they couldn't get anyone out to service it until Monday, mind you we were due to check out on Sunday ( today)The temperature in Brunswick was high 80's to low 90's, so it was very uncomfortable inside that house. Now granted the host was very prompt with his responses, however the issue never got resolved. I mean honestly, we would have been happy for him to have brought a few fans or something, anything to help cool it off for us. There was a lady that stopped by on Saturday afternoon, I guess to verify what I had told the host, but she left with the issue still unresolved. The TV upstairs did not work, it had a cable box attached that powered on for a couple of seconds and then kept turning off. Imagine the one room in the house with A/C and the damn TV doesn't work....SMH It was very apparent that the owner couldn't have lived local, if so shame on them for not making sure their property is up to standard as you're taking people's money. I strongly recommend that this host get a new cleaning crew and check behind them, because it was very apparent that this property was NOT cleaned before our arrival. Again, the house itself was beautiful, but not clean with multiple issues throughout. Book this house at your own risk!

Great Place!

Me and some friends came down to enjoy this hone in a very quiet neighborhood where you’re close to shopping and food but just enough of a distance to where there’s no traffic. Just 30 minutes away from the beach and less than an hour from Florida it was perfect!

Not a good experience

Not a good experience, but, the owner did give a substantial refund. House was not clean, but the linens were clean. Hopefully the kinks have been worked out and the property is cleaner for the next tenants.

Great Space for the Price

Overall we were very pleased with this rental. It was spacious and clean, and we especially enjoyed having the grill available. The biggest negative was that the tub in the hall bathroom did not drain properly. The kitchen was also a little under stocked for the size of our party and lacking in some cookware items such as cutting boards and mixing bowls, but there were plenty of pots, pans, and skillets, so we were able to make do. Check in/out was simple and the renter responded very quickly to the few questions we had.

First Trip to Jekyll Island!

The property was good. Clean. The only mis- representation would be the picture of the back yard. I'm not sure if it was weather prior to us arriving but backyard stayed like a swamp the whole time we were there. No other complaints!!!! Great!
