Lovely location!

I absolutely loved this location and Carillon Beach. The condo itself is a little worn but was just what we needed for a 4 day break at the beach. The unit was clean and the Vacasa personnel checked on us to make sure we had what we needed. I plan on returning!

Room needs updated, but overall great time

The room itself needed some updating/fixing. Looks great by the listing pictures but once inside the unit you can tell the rooms been used a lot and needs some work. But overall great location to beach access and pools. Great little shops and restaurants on the property as well!

Poor to fair accommodations

Laminate flooring not clean, couch not comfortable, lighting in bathroom inadequate and bathroom exhaust fan not working. Back deck view and pool were very nice.

Good Fit

Condo is “dated”, I suppose.. BUT it was perfect for us and our pets. For the value, it was just fine.. we spent time out doing things, so what was in the condo and decor didn't really concern us. All the tools needed to cook were there, fridge was good, coffee pot.. All was good !

Air did not work. Tried getting in touch with property manager, but couldn’t. Furniture falling apart and stains in couch.

My much needed getaway

First there was no one that could give us any kind of direction to our room. The girl in a Vacasa ofc had no idea what direction it was. After an hour of walking and asking with no help. We found it. The front entrance was a construction site and after walking thru it which we were told not to, we found our room right on the other side of the construction wall. We heard constant drilling for 3 days! It was terrible. The apartment had ants all in it. The pool gate lock would not work and if the right person came along it would open. Now for the positive: beautiful site, but no ocean like we thought, comfy bedding, on site food was outrageous and no good. As far as ever going back I seriously doubt it. It was definitely a great last minute deal but not even worth what we paid. The pool was beautiful. The lake was very pretty as well. My son recently passed and I needed to run away for a little peace and quiet … I needed to keep running back home. Bobbie g

Good not great.

Apartment was nice for 2 and a pet but coach cushions covered from previous pet stains; kitchen sink only 12" square so washing dishes a big mess, only 1 wine glass in the place, dust bunnies on the walls from the fan ; refrig so loud one night that wife couldnt sleep (freezer set too high) furniture was too large for the living room space; adjacent market area going thru major repairs and noisy, limited food options on property.

Great Location - Poor Unit

I didn’t know how to get into unit until day of travel. Didn’t realize I would go straight to unit. No directions on where to go. We went in the evening so it was kind of strange going to a unit and not knowing if it was correct one or not. The location was perfect for us. The unit itself was in desperate need of new furnishings and painting. The baseboards looked filthy. There were scuffs on the walls. All wooden furniture was scuffed and a knob was missing on dresser. Mold was under soap holder in shower unit. Couch was dated and stained. I wouldn’t sit on it. Pillow on bed smelled like urine. Thankfully there was extra in closet to use. Restaurants weren’t open for the season until day before we left and the advertisement didn’t mention that. Again the location was perfect for us just not the unit we stayed in.

Status of stay at vacasa

It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The surrounding were extremely pleasant. Loved the fact that it was dog friendly. We were extremely happy with our stay there.

Great location, Awesome bed, just fine for our weekend

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Everyone we spoke to - front desk at the Inn and folks at Vacasa around the corner - were very friendly and helpful. The unit itself is a bit tired but the bed is extremely comfortable, the balcony has awesome views, the TVs work fine, so we really had no complaints at all! Do be aware that the kitchen is not built for cooking full meals. There is a two burner built-in cooktop and a microwave, but there is no oven. As others have noted, the kitchen sink is a very small bar sink which and is fine for rinsing a few things before they go into the dishwasher, but if you are planning on a lengthy stay during which you want to cook your meals, this may not be the unit for you. But for the two of us and our two small dogs on a 3-day weekend, it was great.

Not worth the money

This room was very dirty, outdated, and over all disappointing. There was dust everywhere, floors were nasty, and even mold on the lamp shades. We were even grossed out by the couch and wouldn’t sit on it. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

Excellent place and amazing location… community was beautiful and our agent was extremely helpful.

The unit was very clean and perfectly set up… very dog friendly and an amazing view… will definitely come again.

Unit Needs Attention

Carillon Beach Community itself is beautiful. This unit at the Carillon Beach Inn, however, needs some attention and a deep cleaning. What was good: Plenty of towels available for our stay; laminate flooring and tile in this pet friendly unit; Kitchen was clean; Bed was comfortable. What was not good: Ice Maker broken; Had to call for housekeeping to come back when we arrived to clean fan blades on both fans as they were caked with dust and to provide us with paper towels and bar soap. (These are standard items that were not left for next guests after the last cleaning.) Living room furniture is dirty and stained; Mildew on bathroom ceiling and shower curtain. Bottom line, this unit has a lot of potential and it’s time for it to get the attention it deserves.

Great location, not so great unit

Beautiful neighborhood but unit needs upkeep to remove mold from bathroom and to properly clean beds before new guests, a bit skimpy on towels and blankets also. Again, great resort that is quiet and well maintained...unit needs upkeep.

Bring your own stuff and be out at 10am sharp

They didn't have glasses, only 1 roll of tp and no kleenex, only one tiny bar of soap, no tv guide, no salt pepper, very limited dinneware expcept for a lot of plates. The worst thing was having to get up so early to be out by 10am, and no bending on giving you a few extra minutes. 10am is too early. at least 11 am would make it so much better. nice location. loved the beaches but it rained most of the time. Wish they had some information on restaurants etc in the rooms.

Pictures of the room were deceiving!!!

We were really excited about our stay at Carillon beach inn until we got into the room. There were stains on the couch, the leg on entertainment center was broke and only holding on by the wall, the lamp in the bedroom had mold or rust all over it, the ceiling fan hasn’t been cleaned in months it looked like, and the bathroom tops it all off, there was mold and mildew all over the bathtub, shower head, and shower curtain, as well as the ceiling. For the amount we had to pay, that’s a bit ridiculous! We will not be staying here again!

Rosemary Beach

The unit was very nice and clean. Location is great very close to everything. However the kitchen sink was very very small and the light was not working at all. The TV in the living room does not work. The back terrace could use some pressure wash. Over all we did enjoy ourselves and will return.

Perfect spot for a quiet beach vacation

The unit was clean on our arrival. It was perfect for us. We enjoyed the pond and the lake. Accommodations we great. We will return and recommend this place.

Our stay

The condo had a mildew or mold smell that was awful. Maintenance did come and try to mask the smell but it would reappear every couple days. Appears like in the bathroom that there is mold under the paint. Not sure if that was the smell or if it was the drain.
