Beautiful lake and ocean view

This 5th floor room has been updated and is one of the best we have stayed in at the Inn. The kitchen is very roomy with a full size stove and sink. We really enjoyed our stay!

When going to the beach - stay right on the beach

First time for us actually staying right on the beach. If you have never done it - jump right in. There is nothing like being able to walk out the backdoor and down the short private boardwalk to the beach. Great property, great house, great vacation.

Great condo

This was our 2nd time staying in this condo this year. And just like last time it didn't disappoint. I personally love this room and I love the view from the 5th floor. Beautifully decorated, clean, homey feel. This is one of my favorite rooms at the inn.

Very cute space for my husband and I. We fell in love with Carillon beach.

This is great 1 bedroom space. It’s totally updated and decorated really cute. The kitchen was well stocked. Really nice view of the lake and neighborhood. It was perfect for my husband and I for a few days. There’s a shuttle that takes you to the beach whenever you want.

Best of Carillion

Several of us booked condo's at Carillion and everyone agreed that this one is the nicest. Many don't have a sink in the bathroom and this one does! The barn door was a great way to fully utilize the space! Initial deposit was non-refundable but it was absolutely worth it!! Would absolutely rent this one again!

Pretty but Needs Upgrades

Definitely room for improvement. The decor was nice and the location is great, but the overall comfort-level of this suite was lacking due to the need for some upgrades and a good upholstery cleaning on the furniture. A thicker bedspread would also be nice.

Well decorated.

For the space, the owner has done a beautiful job on this unit. Only problem I had, huge NFL fan, checked in, sat on sofa, beautiful view outside, big screen TV, and it would not work. bummer, luckily one is bedroom. Besides that, great great unit.

Overall Summary

Overall, Unit 504 was decent. There were however some updates needed on worn-out faucets, places in the floor, bathroom cabinet, dishwasher, balcony door has a broken lock, couch was worn out. Also, the lack of a laundry closet with washer and dryer were less than ideal. Had to carry dirty laundry on the elevator to the 4th floor laundry room and then pay in quarters to wash our clothes.

Carillon Beach- Hidden Gem!

Our favorite thing about this trip was discovering Carillon Beach! We have typically stayed on 30A in the past, we wanted to try something different. We loved how quiet and quaint this area is! We went on multiple walks throughout the neighborhood and loved seeing the beautiful homes, chapel, lake, boardwalks to the beach, etc. We were satisfied with this unit overall. It's a great set up for a couples' getaway! We loved sitting on the balcony- it was so peaceful. A few minor things that could use some improvement are the rusted shower curtain rod & shower caddy. Also, we are big coffee drinkers and could not get the coffee maker to work! We were only there two nights, so it wasn't a huge deal. The building that this unit is in could also use some TLC one day soon! We really enjoyed the pool as well! Just be aware that if you sit in the chairs closest to the lake by the grass, the sprinkler system could turn on in the middle of the afternoon! We, along with a few other guests, got soaked! It made for a funny memory though.

Great stay!!

Unit 504 was remodeled and has a perfect view. Stocked with everything needed In the kitchen (but only one frying pan and it’s all scratched up) starters stocked for the bathroom with exception of missing hair dryer (stated online that it had one) I didn’t realize It was missing until it was needed before dinner. Vacasa closes at 5:00 so We had to go buy one in a pinch. Checkin was a little sticky as I was told via a phone call I made To local Vacasa, the morning of my flight, that I did not need to check in since I was staying at the INN that the checkin email I received with door code was all I needed. But then once we landed at the VPS airport I received a text that Vacasa was closing at 5:00 and due to me checking in after hours I had to go get an envelope out of the mailbox. To make it known, the lobby of the INN is temporarily closed so you are not able to ask them any questions and Vacasa failed to tell me that they were located around the corner on market Street first building to the left of the markets. The check in instructions you receive in an email are a bit vague.

Carillon beach resort was and the unit we rented was Nice

Over all the unit was acceptable. Although, I was disappointment it didn’t include golf cart shuttle rides to the beach. I was told to get that service because we booked thru Vacasa and not directly thru the Carillon Beach resort. The weather was very hot the week we were there and it was a long walk to the beach. Especially carrying beach chairs, umbrella, etc…. I wish this was mentioned in the literature. Room was okay, but not great. It was clean but the finish on the kitchen sink was chipped off and paint and trim on wall behind sliding barn door was damaged for the door rubbing when opened and closed. Location of resort was great. Easy access to grocery stores, CVS, etc….

The Perfect Getaway!

I so enjoyed my stay at Carillon Beach Inn! It’s a peaceful resort, placed in close proximity to shopping centers, convenience shops, the beach (of course) and grocery stores! This resort is perfectly placed, my unit was decorated so beautifully, & it had EVERYTHING I needed within it to enjoy my stay! Book with Vacasa ASAP! You won’t be disappointed!

I wouldn’t recommend for colored

Soooo i feel this gon be long, but i dont care. Honestly the place was beautiful, room was beautiful, lake view, balcony. Recommend for a lil get away. So honestly as me being colored ( yes i did say colored ) and so were my friends/family, we got the upmost wrong looks from beginning to end. The security guard decided to follow us to 1 of 3 pools. How did he know what pool we were at unless someone said something. Soon as we got to the pool other people decided to leave & walk out. The same security guard came up with a clip board & asked were we supposed to be there and where we staying. I said “ we have reservations here” he said where i said here this hotel. We all felt uncomfortable so we went to the beach, next came another person messing with us and asking us if were we staying here or where are we staying. . Like I honestly don’t understand how i cant have a 1 vacation day in a beautiful minimum luxury place. They came into my room without knocking, while we were all sleep. Came back and rushed us out the room. I honestly know we slept over, but it wasnt that long. So out of all respect you couldve knocked & told us about what time to check out. The lady banged on the door and opened it & asked us how long are we gon take teave. I had fun, but the racial profiling was unexceptionable. I will not be booking this room again & doing my booking on the other end if I decide to come back.

Property needs care. Grout in bathroom was dirty especially around corners shower curtain had a small amount of mold. Kitchen sick had cracked porcelain and there were deep scratches on some pieces of furniture. Bed was comfortable and general cleanliness was very good. I loved the beachy feel of the decorations. Location was really good for the upscale South Walton area. Quiet. Don't miss breakfast at the Donut Hole

Condo near the beach

The beach near this condo is very nice-wide, white sand that is level enough for walking and running. The condo is small, but nice for two people. I enjoyed the balcony with views of the sunrise and sunset. With just a little bit of money spent, the condo could be much nicer and would get a 5 star rating. The shower caddy and shower curtain bar are both rusted-maybe a $20 fix. The sofa should be replaced-it has almost no support and was not comfortable to sit on. There was not enough flatware in the kitchen. I think we had 3-4 spoons. The bed was comfortable. We had plenty of towels and washcloths for the week. I loved the location and all of the amenities.
