Fantastic family villa

Beautiful villa with all the furnishings you need to make it home. The pool and outdoor areas are fantastic. Vera and her husband were very helpful even chopping wood when we mentioned we were having a bbq.

Fantastic stay!

Absolutely loved Vera’s home. Having a pool was so fantastic! Short 20 minute drive by car to Omiš where there are many fun things to do including ziplines, boat tour, lovely old town. Variety of beautiful beaches nearby. Vera was very welcoming, she had drinks in the fridge for us when we arrived, and was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend!

Fantastic

This villa was incredible. Vera was super nice and very helpful. She met with us when she checked us in and gave us a TON of useful information. Everything about the home was clean and there were plenty of dishes/pots, etc. The photos of the home are beautiful but they simply don't do justice to how fantastic it is. There are tons of flowers and vegetable plants and there is even a fig tree on the property. The pool was great as well as immaculate. After a day of driving round up and down the coast it was great to come back to this vacation home and make dinner (or grill - they have a GREAT grill). Frankly some of the time we were in Croatia we just hung out at the villa because it was so comfortable and fun. If I go back to Croatia and I am anywhere near that area I will for sure book Vera's place again. One last thing - you are not going to BELIEVE the beautiful views both above and below the villa. Thanks Vera!!

Wonderful base to explore Croatia

We had a really great 10 day break in the villa. It's close (by car) to the town of Omis, which has a good range of restaurants and activities, and is close enough to Split to drive there. The local area has beaches and also hills for hiking. The host was helpful and responsive. The property is a bungalow with multiple outdoor seating areas and a compact but we'll maintained pool. I would recommend bringing insect repellent as there do seem to be a few mosquitoes in the area. Also - follow Vera's driving directions to the property - don't try to use Google maps as it will take you to slightly the wrong place...

Perfect Base

Comfortable stay, kitchen, pool, living room, barbecue. Close enough to the beach (reachable by foot), 1h drive to Split, Krka National Park, etc. All around highly recommendable!

Delighful house in a pretty area very close to the beach

Villa Vera was excellent! Spacious for 6 adults, with an excellent kitchen and living space. Bedrooms were comfortable and private bathrooms for each room was a treat. The pool and garden are delightful and kept very clean and tidy - we were invited to help ourselves to the lovely veggies growing there. Good BBQ space, and lots of comfortable lounge seating. The balcony area out of the living area was a great place to sit and for open air breakfasts and sun-downers. The beach is just a few mins drive (down a very steep hill) or a longer walk. It has a little bar and parking. It was the nicest beach we visited, with snorkelling, clear clean water and plenty of space. Its stony so beach shoes help. Just at the tunnel there is a very good restuarant. Villa Vera is about 15 mins drive to Omis which is an interesting town with a fortress and churches to visit. There is a little market and a very good supermarket. The Cetina river flows into the sea here and there are lots of things to do on the river. There are also lots of boats for hire/boat trips from Omis. Vera (our host) was so helpful and friendly and made it very easy to stay at the villa. We can't recommend this place enough!

Beautiful villa in a stunning location

We had a wonderful few days in this house, which comfortably accommodated two families. Vera was a great host - very helpful and responsive. The figs and fresh vegetables from the garden were an unexpected treat on top of everything else!

Vi bodde 6 st i huset Villa Vera under 1 vecka i juli. Härligt hus, rent och snyggt både ute och inne. Värdinnan var både trevlig och gästvänlig, lät oss plocka av de mogna grönsakerna i trädgården. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta härliga boende i Kroatien. Hälsningar, Ulf med familj

Amazing stay in spacious but cozy villa

The stay at Villa Vera was an amazing experience for me. The owner Vera was extremely friendly giving us tips on how to spend our time around the beautiful region of Omis. She even provided us with fresh vegetables and fruits from her organic garden in the backyard of the villa! These were the most natural and tasty tomatoes I ever had! The beaches around the villa are pristine and children-friendly with crystal-clear waters. The house was very clean and you can find more kitchen utensils and kitchenware that you most probably have in your own house :) I especially enjoyed the quiet and extremely relaxing time I had there. Talk about stress relief therapy :) Ask Vera for recommendations on great restaurants that Omis offers. She told me to visit the Pirate festival in Omis which was a nice experience. From Omis take a boat and get an excursion to the nearby islands (Brac and Hvar). You will love it!

Beautiful, relaxing property for a true vacation

Our stay at the Villa Vera property was amazing. The house is large, with a beautiful kitchen and amazing areas on the south and north side of the house, where we spent a lot of time - enjoying our morning coffee and meals. The house was very clean and each room had its own private bathroom (awesome for our large party). We enjoyed the pool- it was very clean, surrounded by tall trees and greens and it was very private. The host was amazing- Vera was very hospitable, provided us with a lot of information of what to go see, where to stock up on supplies and recommended great restaurants. She even told us we can pick produce from her garden! We would occasionally walk to the beach (took us ~15min), but we spent a lot of time at the pool. We did do a lot of day trips to the surrounding town for some sightseeing- and that was great. Vera gave us tips on some shortcuts and more scenic roads to take on our trips to Split and Dubrovnik. We will be recommending this villa to our friends and family.

Clean, pure, relaxing and best vacation of my life

This was one of the best holidays to date. Villa Vera is a spacious,clean and charming villa located only couple of minutes away from the beach. The house has a large private pool, state of the art appliances, 360 degree terraces where you can serve meals all day round. Lokva Rogoznica is only 35min from Split and 8min away from Omiš where we got fresh fish, meats and groceries. Croatians are very hospitable people including our wonderful and caring hosts Lover and Vera. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would not hesitate to come back. Highly recommended.

I have spent very many summers as a kid in Villa Vera and I grew up on eating the freshest foods and enjoyed swimming in the cleanest sea on the planet. This I managed to confirm when I recently took a trip to the Caribbeans. Villa Vera is a super duper place, extra comfortable, welcoming for couples and families. This Villa has been built with a tremendous amount of love and care.
The hosts of Villa Vera are Vera & Lovre who are also the owners. These people have traveled around the world, they speak English well as well as Spanish and Italian. They are super welcoming and here to help out. Their warm welcome and your superb stay will make you want to come back.
