Awesome Birthday!

Went for a 5 day trip for my birthday with the family. We had a great time. The condo is great and the staff and facilities are awesome! It was our first time to Destin and we will be back. The beach and the area are wonderful!

Beach stay

We had a great time despite the beginning of the COVID19 shut downs midweek of our stay. The facility and condo is really nice. The tiki bar was great. The beach was beautiful and the weather was perfect. The property manager worked with me on changing dates and was very helpful.

Wonderful experience from the start...beginning with booking the room to the last day. Kris and Jen were VERY helpful and everything was just as listed. Beautiful view, comfortable beds, condo was perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Great Time

Property was as advertised. Property manager was very responsive to a few questions we had during the stay. I saw some negative reviews online about the property staff (unrelated to this unit) - we had great service from the property staff - only positives. I would stay here again.

We had the best time on our trip. The unit was perfect and stocked well for us. Kris was great to deal with and had quick responses. This was our first time at the Pelican and will definitely be back!

Nice getaway

Overall the entire stay was great. We enjoyed the condo itself and the property overall. It is a very large condo building so finding/walking to parking and waiting on an elevator were our least favorite parts but understandable overall. Condo was very clean and in great condition.

Perfect beach vacation!

This condo resort and this particular unit was perfect! No walking to the beach or pool, everything you need steps away. We had issue with the garbage disposal but the owner had maintenance there within the hour. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

Condo was amazing and accurately described. This was our best family vacation in Florida, we took a family of 5. I do recommend getting beach chair and umbrella rental setup before you go. This is a private beach , you can still setup behind the rows of chairs if you don’t want chairs and umbrellas. Crab island was amazing and The Crab Trap was the best food we had while there. We will definitely be repeating this trip in the future, hopefully this condo will be available when we return. We don’t have anything negative to say about the entire trip.

Location location location!!!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location is fabulous. The views from the balcony are great. We rented beach chairs for the weekend, that was a very simple and easy process. We did note a few small issues with the condo. The drain in the master bathroom drained extremely slow, 30+ mins to drain after taking a shower. Some of the interior doors in the bedrooms and bathrooms are a little hard to open and close. Seems the hinges are off Nothing that made our stay not enjoyable, just a few things that could use a little freshening up inside the condo. Would definitely recommend this condo and this area in Destin.

Hello, the rental was nice but it could have a couple of things updated to make it even better. Only one elevator worked the entire time we were there for a busy weekend. Long waits, several people packed on the elevator during COVID. It was a diaper under the bedroom with the twin beds. Overall the condo could have been cleaned a little better. We cleaned when we arrived and leaving. The tv in the time bedroom also did not work: it kept freezing.

GREAT STAY!

A perfect week at the beach! Check-in was easy, location terrific. Kris and Jen are wonderful to deal with. we had a minor plumbing issue but the response was great. fixed very quickly. Pre-trip communication was great and made the whole process and vacation wonderful. Would definitely book here again! Thank y'all!!

My family stayed here during fall break. It was so nice and we loved that the beach and pool were so easily accessible. The owners were easy to contact and the entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here in the future!

Great property: wonderful views, perfect location, clean and well stocked apartment, new appliances, nice furniture, tastefully decorated … everything was beautiful and helped us have a fantastic family vacation. And most importantly, Jen and Kris are the best hosts. I relaxed so much that I forgot all my jewelry in the apartment when leaving. Realized it while we were driving home, contacted the hosts, and they promptly and graciously helped us get the jewelry back (the cleaners found it and returned it to us). Impeccable service, kind and understanding hosts, honest and courteous cleaning crew. We will be back again and again. Highly recommend this property and these hosts.

Awesome family room/Beautiful view

Wow, wow, wow...definitely loved this room! The view was amazing and the kids loved being on the 19th floor! The beach closet was a huge plus and had chairs, kid surf boards, and all the sand castle making goods! I would definitely stay there again. My 9, 7, and 5 year old had the best trip yet!

Substitute vacation

We came to Destin after our trip to the Bahamas was cancelled due to COVID-19. The condo was very comfortable With plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen was great for preparing meals and had pretty much everything we needed. Not quite the same as the Bahamas but we enjoyed our visit! Definitely would recommend it!
