Hermosa casa (recientemente remodelada) en Spruce Creek de renombre mundial. Acogedor ambiente de cabina con modernas comodidades para el hogar. Impresionante, sereno entorno natural, pero a solo 25 minutos en coche de State College / Penn State University. Justo al otro lado del arroyo hay 5,000 acres de bosque.

- Rodeado de bosques pero también tiene un gran patio para juegos..
- Wifi
- TV 4K de 60 "
- Algunas películas y juegos de mesa.
- Gran cocina abierta con especias, aceites de cocina, ollas, sartenes, utensilios de cocina, etc..
- Parrilla y patio con vista al arroyo
- Excelentes caminatas muy cerca, dirígete al Indian Lookout a menos de 500 yardas de distancia

Host was very welcoming and accommodating, being in a rural area directions provided made finding location easy, it was easy to get ahold of the host when issues arose. House had everything provided so you can relax and enjoy a nice weekend in the woods getaway, without over packing.

What a fun Penn State football weekend with our grown kids! The sound of the creek rushing by was delightful and very calming. The fire pit and large lawn was a plus.The large family room and kitchen was very inviting and a fun atmosphere.

The property location was great. Interior conditions were acceptable and clean with a couple small exceptions. Sulfur smelling water and average WiFi can be expected for rural location. The exterior condition including overflowing trash bins, random rotted building materials, sub par outdoor furniture and bad overall condition indicates owners /management are not interested in repeat customers.

Amazing!

Beautiful property on the creek, clean, renovated in most part with gorgeous spacious grounds. Great owner, easy going, understanding, and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

Not as Advertised

Owner had to be promoted to send check in info but did respond. Literature had instructions that were no longer valid. Inside was clean, but outside was not. Patio chairs were filthy. Moose head was torn and the muzzle was hanging off it when we arrived. We had let the owner know we were using it for a work trip and needed strong WiFi. We were informed that is was strong enough for a PSU professor to host Zoom classes. We found that the internet went in as our frequently, and we lost sound and even had several work calls drop -to the point where we had to drive to Tyrone 2 of the days to complete our remote meetings. Patio door handle was broken. There was nowhere in the master to put clothes as the armoire was filled with mismatched towels and sheets. Second bedroom was filled with blankets, so there was no room in there either. Master bath sink faucet was too close to the bowl, making it difficult to use without splashing water all over the back of the vanity. Other shower door did not seal, causing flooding when we showered.That said, it was quiet and has potential to be a lovely escape from technology.

Fishing trip.

The location was perfect, so I thought. I believe the no fishing should be more of a priority listed up front and no near the end. We got instructions about the wifi, which we followed but never had it the entire time there. The inside was really nice but the outside landscaping was bad, sad to see.

Cozy cabin, family fun

The cabin was great. Cozy, but spacious. Clean, easy going, friendly host. We had a very fun time playing billiards, taking a quick hike. And easy commute to Penn State. The view of the creek, with the sun shining through made for an ideal stay in nature.

Weekend getaway in rustic cabin

Perfect for what we wanted, something different, quite, around nature. We wanted to be together with family for a fun weekend, what better than cold weather with a roaring fire, no cable - watched DVD movies and played pool. The cabin was rustic with a wood paneling cabin theme. The beds and rooms spacious. Setting was beautiful with a mountain and stream at its base as our back yard view with a wonderful flowing water sound, while looking out a Bald Eagle flew along the stream. We visited State College which was not too far away with nice drive through the countryside and farm fields.

Football Weekend

Very spacious, clean and well maintained. A bit far for PSU, but very nice and well worh it. Would like to come back sometime when we can soend more time around the cabin.

Beautiful scenes and peaceful vibes

A very warm rustic stay away from home. Everything was very clean, easy find stuff for cooking, comfortable furniture, and the beds were the best to sleep on, I stay out of town a lot so it was nice to have a good night sleep. The outdoor scenery is breathtaking with the greenery & woods with a beautiful flowing spruce creek to listen too. Would most definitely recommend anyone to stay here and would rebook again in the future if available.

Had a few “hiccups”

Property is in a beautiful location, would be great outdoor space in nice weather. Virtually impossible to find in the dark, needs better signage, lighting, specific directions, because the road signs don’t match up with any navigation apps. and it is Dark back there! Thankful for the back up heat sources because the central heating as well as Internet service (including tv streaming) were off-line for the first 24 hours until the manager returned my texts. The shared living spaces are wonderful, kitchen/dining and family room areas. Our teens enjoyed using the pool table since TV service wasn’t working. Bed and bath situation not really conducive for 10 guests as one of the bedrooms just basically fits a bed, has no privacy with glass doors, no storage and a bedroom door that doesn’t close. One bathroom is captive to the main bedroom, and the other bathroom is very tiny to be shared among eight guests. The interior is nicely decorated and well-maintained, exterior is a work in progress.
