Sunflower House on Lake Wissota

Get ready for your vacation to begin! New construction home by award winning builder located on the Yellow River with direct access to Lake Wissota! The bright open concept living room, kitchen and dining room will allow you to enjoy each other’s company as you prepare your meals. Relax in one of the four bedrooms. Linens are included for the queen beds and the 2 full bathrooms.

If the weather is chilly, gather around the fire pit and make s'mores. Firewood is included. Games, books and puzzles are provided for relaxation, and also enjoy the game/poker table. Two Smart TVs allow you to use your personal Netflix or Hulu account so you don’t miss an episode of your favorite shows!

Enjoy the morning sunrise from the porch or the dock, which is only a few steps from the house for easy access. Bring your boat, tie it to the dock and enjoy fishing and water sports all day long.

Take a boat ride to the nearby restaurants or grill your dinner while relaxing on the covered porch. If you’re a nature lover, take a hike through Lake Wissota State Park, enjoy Ray’s Beach, or pull up to an island and play on the sandy beaches! Just minutes from the shops, restaurants, breweries, and wineries in the area.

Our annual college girls group enjoyed the house very much. Plenty of space without being too big. Kitchen was the perfect size to whip up a meal. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and the view of the lake beautiful. Very relaxing.

Beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful week staying at the Yellow cottage. The cottage was clean and the owners were easy to communicate. This was our 2nd time staying there. Was quiet and a nice spot to unwind. Would definitely stay again.

Sunflower Haven

The Sunflower home is a very accommodating and lovely place to stay. Our family enjoyed the adequate space to gather which provided an opportunity to really enjoy our time together. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay which was much appreciated and helped us best prepare for our stay.

Great location

I flew in from California with family from Utah and Colorado to celebrate my Mom's 75th birthday in my hometown. This location was a perfect setting. The house was clean and comfortable. The cookware was not sufficient for cooking for a large group, but we made it work! There was sufficient everything else. We loved it and would stay here again!

Amazing week on Lake Wissota!

We had a fantastic week at the Sunflower House with friends! The house was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. There was more than enough room for 6 adults - several of us ended up having to do a little work while we were there, and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out and have some privacy. We rented a boat for the week and the dock was great, very easy to land. We spent the week boating, hiking the IAT, visiting the state park, and visiting tons of other great places in Chippewa County and Eau Claire. Communication with the owners was great and check-out was super easy. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Best Rental Ever!

I don't typically write reviews, but this place was amazing! Most short term rental houses, you can tell they were remodeled with cheap materials and they cut corners everywhere. Not here! The house is gorgeous and all the materials are very nice and installed properly. I was super surprised. It was very refreshing. Everything went very well and we had a great couple nights there. Very clean. I would recommend to anyone!!

Great weekend get away

We stayed at the Sunflower house July 2023. We had a wonderful stay, the house was clean and the hosts answered all of our questions. Great fishing off the dock, we would definitely return!
