Perfect Stay!

We were in town to visit family. We were very happy with our accommodations. It was very comfortable and welcoming. Would be happy to book this rental again.

Peaceful Retreat

The property was lovely. The house was adorable when you walk inside. The view of the river was amazing. The house had everything you need for a short getaway. The only recommendation is to add that the train tracks are right by the house. We got in late and it was dark the first night. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking a truck was coming through the wall.

Great Getaway

This is a great place to stay. Clean and cozy and the hosts were great to work with. We had a breaker trip and Kelly was here within 10 min to fix it.

We found the location beautiful. We enjoyed both decks. It was an easy and convenient drive to stores and my Sons apartment. The owner was a plwasure to work with. We would stay here again.

Nicely decorated but not as quiet as expected

The setting on the river was a welcome sight as was the nicely decorated home and the personalized welcome sign when we arrived. What was surprising to see was the proximity to the Amtrak train tracks and the frequency of the train traffic. This was not mentioned in the description of the property and created an unexpected racket throughout our stay. Additionally the microwave breaker had to be reset, the hot water in the upstairs shower did not work (though the homeowner offered to send someone to address) and the coffee maker needed a thorough cleaning. Again, the owner was responsive and this is a nicely decorated property with a few flaws that need resolution, along with a more accurate description of the train track proximity. If these issues weren’t present we would have likely given it a 5 star rating.

Lovely little spot

We stayed at this adorable house while in town for a funeral. It was so clean!!!!! The house is decorated adorably and everything was very clean and organized. It is close to the train but we had zero problems sleeping as it comes by so fast and only a few cars. The view and deck by the river was so lovely! I wish we could have used fire pit but it was raining. A lovely spot!

My husband and I spent two nights at Hilda’s Riverside Resort with my sister and brother-in-law. The cottage was decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our morning coffee and for preparing food. The back yard was very spacious, with a deck that had a grill, table, and chairs, and then another “deck-type” area down by the river. There was also a fire pit, and a nice supply of wood. There were two shopping centers nearby, and plenty of places to eat. There is a train nearby that passes by a few times throughout the day and night, but you barely even notice it. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here.

The house was very nice and clean. Beautiful view of the river. If you are planning on cooking make sure you pick up your pantry items( oil, cooking spray) a bag of ice. It is a very private yard, which we loved. A nice little gem. 😊

Great stay

Lovely property in quiet neighborhood. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The deck overlooking the river is a wonderful place to sit out. We enjoyed the occasional trains rushing by.

Incredible find

Very clean, everything you need is there. Easy to feel at home. The view of the river was breath taking. The train tracks in front of home was a new thing for us, but not nucence. The area once on the street was ok. Small tunnel to drive thru, neighborhood looks as if the are cleaning it up. Every store we needed was with in a few miles. Definitely will book again and tell family. Thank you

Outstanding Experience

This was a fantastic location for a two-night stay. The house itself was welcoming and beautiful. The images don't do it enough justice. It's situated right on the river, which was stunning, yet near any amenities you could want. We will return!

Sweet little homey place to stay!

We decided to stay here instead of a hotel while attending an event at the Big E. Location was perfect. Home is super inviting, very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Awesome stay on the river

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The host was wonderful, there were so many thoughtful touches awaiting us when we arrived. Beautiful property right on the river, nice fire pit that the visiting grand nephews has a blast with making s’mores. We had a delightful stay.

RELAXING DOWNTIME FOR THE BIG E

Rather than stay in a hotel during THE BIG E, we opted to rent this little gem, which allowed us to just relax along the water, sit by the firepit, read a book on the deck, even drop a fishing in the river at the properties edge. Thank you for letting us stay in your home, It was perfect.

Beautiful place

It’s such a beautiful place to relax and disconnect for a little bit. An amazing view and it’s so clean and cozy. The deck it’s very pretty and we loved watching the sunrise from there. We would definitely go back.

Best VRBO I've ever had!

Everything about this property and the host was impeccable! We had an issue with an appliance that was rectified within a couple of hours, even though we would have completely understood if hadn't been. It has the most well-appointed kitchen I've ever found in rental. Sandy, the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Hands down the best!

Hilda's property is beautiful. It is a definite retreat. Felt as comfortable as home. Hilda has attended to every detail. There is a personal welcome at the door and a binder filled with all of the amenities that might be needed. The lake is beautiful. I would stay here again.

Very cozy stay

We stayed here for 2 notes over mothers day weekend. The home is adorable. Wonderful view of the river from the back yard. My 17 year old son loved having a small fire in the fireplace and roasting marshmallows. We would definitely stay here again
