"La Manille" is the name of this beautiful, spacious family villa, dating from the late 19th century—the golden age of seaside villas. Just like a shackle—an essential component on a boat that connects cables and ropes—the house brings family and friends together in a lovely haven of peace to enjoy warm, carefree, and relaxing vacations. Fully restored in 2019, it combines comfort and charm.
The house overlooks a wooded, fully enclosed, quiet, and sunny garden with a large terrace. It features 4 bedrooms upstairs (which can be furnished with a double bed or two single beds depending on occupancy) and a master suite with a private bathroom, opening directly onto the garden.
Thanks to its location—150 meters from Nau Beach and 200 meters from the town center and its market—you can get around on foot or by bike and easily enjoy the nearby sports and recreational activities: swimming along the wild coast, sailing, fishing, tennis, horseback riding, and golf (La Baule, Guérande).
You can also explore the exceptional sites of the Guérande Peninsula: salt marshes, the medieval town of Guérande, the port of Le Croisic, the Brière Nature Reserve…
And, last but not least, you’ll enjoy the local specialties: fresh-caught fish from La Turballe and Le Croisic, vegetables from the peninsula’s farmers, fondant baulois, galettes and crêpes from Bar à Pom, and to top it all off, a stroll along the harbor to enjoy waffles and niniches from Mignon or Albert, two local institutions…
