We had a wonderful time. The listing does not have a good picture of the living room but there is a couch and a love seat as well as two other swivel chairs so there was plenty of space for everyone to sit down and enjoy watching a movie. All the beds are comfortable. The outdoor space was the highlight for us. We were not blessed with the best week of weather but enjoyed using the hot tub and heated pool even in the rain. We were delighted to find lots of off street parking when we arrived and outdoor outlets located in perfect locations to charge the golf cart we rented. Communication was great with the host. They got back to us right away with all questions during the booking process and during our stay. We brought our dog with us for the first time and this place was perfect for her and us to enjoy vacation together.

Cute beach house in a perfect location! The pool and hot tub can’t be beat, and as a family with small kids, we felt very comfortable knowing the pool was secured with locked gates. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the home had all the little touches that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d definitely come back!

We had a lovely and magical stay at this property! The pool and hot tub area was the highlight but we also appreciated the proximity to the beach and to downtown Stone Harbor and the newly renovated and clean interior.

They really should have charged us more for the frat boy feel and the mouse poop, as those things added a special touch to our stay.You too can stay in this house for 1,659/ nt in August.A sucker is born every minute and once my family realized we are those suckers, we just leaned in and laughed at every new issue.The house is very dirty. See photo of my tank top after 3 days sitting on a bedroom side table. Then is lots of mouse poop. Our workaround was to not open the base cabinets in the kitchen. On arrival, half of the keurig was there. A replacement was sent by day 4 of our 9 day trip, thank you.There was very little hand soap, no shampoo, and it is clear no one is checking on this property between renters.Bonus! My kids burned themselves on the toaster that gets just as hot on the outside as it does on the inside.There are exactly two hooks for towels in the house. We learned to drape them on any upright object we could find. Every room in this very small house has locked cabinets, which dramatically minimizes the space for you and yours. They did leave the closet full of dog hair available, and I’m grateful that Fido adorned my dress each evening. I love dogs. Even kitchen cabinets were locked, but I think they just spared us more mouse poop?Outside, please enjoy the gorgeous pool with multiple cameras pointed in your direction, for your relaxation and enjoyment. Aren’t cameras supposed to be disclosed in the listing? We won't be back.

Our stay was amazing! The house has well stocked with cookware and silverware. We enjoyed cooking on the grill. The pool and hot tub were crystal clear and very relaxing. Plenty of outdoor seating. The neighborhood was quiet and close to local restaurants. The communication was great, beach tags were in a basket at the house. There were clear directions on how to use things as well as directions for when we left. I can't wait to book again!

Great little cottage

Down for a week and was very happy with the place. Perfect location for walking to the beach or pick up some food. Pool was wonderful and nice to have after the hot beach. Would return again.

Location and pool top notch. Objectively any property rated excellent by VRBO should not: have dirty linen and towels awaiting new arrivals, should not have crumbs and dirty floors I cleaned from previous guests, should not have gobs of hair I removed from AC vents, should not run out of promised soaps and conditioners by day 3, should not have paint pealing from the ceiling and warped interior paneling, should not have AC so inefficiently hot my grandsons had a difficult time taking an afternoon nap. Subjectively: any summer house should have ceiling fans in the bedrooms and more than one TV for a houseful of guests.
AC return animal/human hair?
HVAC admittedly “not efficient” in owners manual. Translates to can’t handle summer heat and humidity
Crumbs obvious, excessive sand everywhere (I expect some sand at a beach rental, but)

Perfect house and location!

We couldn’t have had a better time at this property! Communication with the host was easy and prompt. The house was perfect for our group and at a great location, 1 block from the beach. When the weather didn’t work out for the beach it was so nice to have the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend!!

Girls weekend

We had an amazing girls weekend away and lucked out with the weather and were able to enjoy the pool, which was the highlight of the trip. Communication with Amy was great and you can’t beat the location! The only two things I would say could use improvements are that we could bot get the hot tub to heat, despite following the directions and the beds were a little dirty underneath the comforters (dirt and crumbs). But we would definitely stay here again!directions.

Late September Long Weekend

Our family of two adults and two kids (2.5 and 6 months) stayed for a long weekend at the end of September. Unfortunately the weather was not great but regardless we had an enjoyable stay. The house was perfect size for our family and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we were able to use the outdoors. The location is ideal being an easy walk to the beach and a playground. For us it was a quick drive to shops and restaurants in Stone Harbor and Avalon (if just adults we could have easily walked) as well as kid friendly activities like the Cape May Zoo and Wetlands Institute. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We’d happily stay here again and recommend to others.

One of the best stays that I have had at the Jersey Shore!

The house was spacious, clean, and updated. The pool and spa were incredible. We loved how close we were to the beach too! The property manager was very easy to communicate with and was quick to respond. We are so happy we chose to stay here!!

Wonderful Beach Week

Absolute gem of a property. My wife and our two children, aged 2 and 4, stayed here for 5 days. Perfect size for our family with an amazing backyard, the best I have seen at the beach. The house was very clean with great information on the property and the beach area. The pool area is unbelievable, the size and grass portion were perfect for the family. The back and forth via messaging was always answered with a quick reply if I ever had questions. We look forward to booking again.

One of the few original beach cottages on the island (but fully renovated), with an amazing location (one block to the beach, The Windrift, The Icona Beach Bar, and a quick Jitney ride, bike ride or walk to downtown Stone Harbor (1 mile) and Avalon), with a huge and tree lined backyard, perfect for entertaining with a resort style salt water pool and spa - 8- 10 car parking with electric included !

15 x 30 foot heated salt water pool that is 5ft deep and a 8- 10 person in-ground salt water spa !

Pool and Spa will open first week of April and will be heated from May 1st through October 1st.

Pool is heated from 9am to 6pm at 80 degrees.
