Una casa de catálogo de Sears Roebock, el diseño número 119 habría llegado en un vagón de plataforma plana para que los orgullosos nuevos propietarios lo ensamblaran y lo erigieran con la ayuda de amigos, familiares y vecinos. Este majestuoso victoriano comparte la calle con otras casas prominentes de la época y cuenta con un garaje para un automóvil, un cómodo porche, una sala de juegos y una cuadra a pie de los negocios en la calle principal revitalizada de Leads. Tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 de los cuales tienen baños en suite y uno con baño privado dedicado con ducha tipo catedral. La casa tiene una increíble cocina nueva construida a partir de elementos renovados de los gabinetes de cocina originales de 1905 y nuevas encimeras nuevas hechas de maderas exóticas laminadas. Se ha tenido mucho cuidado para restaurar la carpintería original y proporcionar muebles y textiles de buen gusto que sean apropiados para el período y funcionales. A los niños de todas las edades les encantará nuestra sala de juegos que cuenta con una sala de videojuegos de 80 juegos con Pac Man y Galaga y un tablero aleatorio para disfrutar durante horas.

Unique property

A unique historic place to stay! The property description is very accurate. The four bathrooms were perfect for our family stay. We spent most of our time on the front porch enjoying the view and the breeze. Like previous reviewers have stated, the house sits on a steep hill but the short driveway is pretty flat. Overall great stay, the host was very responsive and made sure all our needs were met.

Relaxing

We enjoyed staying in this Victorian house. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We spent our evenings, after a long day of exploring the area, on the covered porch. A nice experience.

Great house and location. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Our host was easy to access and was willing to help with our needs. The bathrooms were clean along with the bedrooms and beds. The kitchen was amazing, the stove was the best.

Beautifully Historic

The property was beautiful and extremely well decorated with art and historical items throughout. The home is spacious and well appointed. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and clean. Kitchen, cookware and dishes were well stocked and a joy to use. We spent most of our visit on the Veranda overlooking the Town, If you are looking for a touch of history and class, you couldn't ask for much better.

Awesome property! Highly recommend.

We are new to VRBO but the entire process was very easy and communication was excellent. The home is a classic and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very beautiful home.

Clean, beautiful home. My 4 star on the location was due to the big hill the house sits on. It was a little slick in the winter trying to get up the street but we just parked down by the neighbors house and walked up and it was no big deal. Lots of space and the owner was very responsive with any questions I had prior to staying.

A beautiful, Practical Magic kind of house. The town was charming with fun shops and great dining places. Close to Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. Friendly and welcoming. If you love Victorian in a beautiful setting stay here!

If you like old beat up dirty homes this is the 1 for you - it’s literally falling apart and the cost per night was outrageous once we got inside to see what we were paying for - stay away from this place

A wonderful stay

This home is beautiful, and we felt very well cared for by the staff and owners. We had plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy ourselves. Having four bathrooms when you have a houseful of people trying to get ready to leave in the morning was the best! We had everything we needed to make it a fun and relaxing stay. Thank you!

Just what we were looking for!

Perfectly charming house in a wonderful setting. My family thoroughly enjoyed the character and warmth of this home which was nestled in the Black Hills. It was a great place to rest and relax after a long hike or other adventure. In particular we enjoyed the wrap around porch that was a beautiful place to see the sunrise in the morning and sit and chat in the evenings.

Fit our family well!

This is a beautiful home. We only spent evenings there and most of that time was spent on the veranda. Such an enjoyable spot to sit and visit and play card games with the young ones. Deer came right in the yard to eat the lilacs. The space was perfect for our family. 3 bedrooms upstairs for 6 of us. Two of the bedrooms have there own bathrooms. Back in the day, this was clearly a home for the rich. I was also pleasantly surprised that the window air conditioners kept the house nice and cool.

Amazing!!!!

The house was perfect! The hosts preserved this property to a T. If you enjoy a historical house, you will LOVE this one!! The bed was the most comfortable bed we have slept in for quite a while. We can't say enough great things about this house. We absolutely loved it! Can't wait to go back! Deer come right up and eat in the yard while you sit outside enjoying the view. We HIGHLY recommend this house. The hosts are fantastic!!!
