Rockwood es una hermosa y única casa de Tahoe que le dará una idea de la rica historia de California. Al salir a la terraza grande y disfrutar de la serenidad de las montañas y vistas al lago filtrada en un barrio precioso. ¡Con artefactos antiguos y especiales en todas partes, esta casa temática ofrece una estancia acogedora en cualquier época del año! La cocina renovada cuenta con una estufa de gas gourmet estilo comercial "Wolfe" bajo techo abovedado y un montón de espacio en el mostrador para los que les gusta cocinar. El área de estar cuenta con una gran estufa de leña, muchos asientos de felpa, un televisor de alta definición Sony 3D de 50 "listo para Internet y un rincón para leer / sentarse debajo de las escaleras.

Baño completo y dormitorio con cama de matrimonio en el nivel de entrada. 2 camas individuales en el desván en el piso de arriba, 3/4 de baño y dormitorio principal en la parte de atrás con cama King y TV pequeña, además de alcoba en la ventana del libro de cuentos.

Gran zona de césped para los niños, y barbacoa de propano para el chef! Incluye el uso del área de picnic de Lakeside de la Asociación de Propietarios y el muelle compartido para cargar y descargar su bote. La playa CFIA se encuentra a media milla de la casa.

Tenga en cuenta, sin embargo, que esta casa está en una colina, por lo que AllWheelDrive / 4wd / chains son muy recomendables en el invierno.

The perfect cabin

We loved everything about this cabin- it was quaintly nestled on a wooded quiet road with some views of the lake if you look through the trees. The layout of the space worked for our family and we appreciated the natural fabric linens on the beds. We also appreciated the unique and authentic decor of the cabin representing a diverse number of indigenous cultures.

Cute Old Tahoe Cabin

A great choice for spring and fall gettaway. Enclosed patio ia a plus with a dog. Can picture doing this again.

Just the ticket!

We had a little reunion of old friends and Rockwood cabin was perfect. The house was clean, filled with interesting artwork and comfortable seating. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and its not a far walk to the lake. The beds were comfy too! All in all a great pick. We intend to come back next summer for sure!

Good location and neighborhood.

Fun location in a neighborhood with nice homes among the tall pine trees. Good pet friendly home plenty of space. A lot if interesting history photos and plenty of bear figures through out the home. Kitchen has everything you need. The home is older so you will see plenty of interior wood walls. I did observe some items that should be replaced and I notified the rental company.i will come back here again but hope they take care problems soon.

Terrific Ski Vacation home

What a cute and comfortable home! Very warm and welcoming and old timey. Kitchen well stocked with any essentials, furniture older, but very comfortable, beds were great and decor was heirloom mountain cabin. Rooms are small, but felt cozy rather than cramped. Snow outside was up to the 2nd story...made for dramatic views as well as a feeling of warm coziness inside. You can see the lake a bit through the trees - it was beautiful. Excellent communication with rental company. Plenty of house information available for TV, internet etc. We will happily return. Thank you for a terrific rental.

Awesome Old Tahoe Vibes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my second time staying at Rockwood. Believe it or not, my grandparents built this cabin! It’s a special place to me, for obvious reasons. All that said, the place was tidy upon arrival and my week there couldn’t have been better. I met a very nice neighbor and shared some old photos of the place and stories, a bottle of wine on the deck. The HOA pier is a peaceful place to lay out and get some sun. Internet is strong. Kitchen is well stocked with gadgets and cookware. Water pressure is great. An AppleTV or streaming device of that nature could be a nice addition in the future. Including basic toiletries (bath soap, shampoo, conditioner) would also be great.

Great location, circular driveway a plus, and wonderful outdoor deck. Our only suggestion is to update the slightly rickety wooden deck furniture to something that's easier on the spine - it's not comfortable for long sits - some outdoor wicker with a little give would be ideal. We hope that happens before our return visit, as we would definitely choose Rockwood again!

Each year we notice some upgrade from the previous summer. The owners take care of their house. We did have a pipe burst under the house that was associated with the irrigation system. Hauserman Rentals responded immediately and took care of the issue.

It was SUPER cute inside, with an awesome kitchen, plenty of room for a medium-sized group, it's dog friendly (THANK YOU FROM BOMBAY) and a crackling fireplace. We stayed for four days, and my wife (who is EXTREMELY picky) said "This is one of the best places we've ever rented."Be aware that the driveway is both long and steep, but that's where Hauserman stepped in -- and brought sand to us in a jiffy... and up we went. GREAT PLACE.

It is comfortable, well stocked in the kitchen with everything you could need. Beds are comfortable. Furniture is older but cozy. House is clean and welcoming.The heat went out during our stay - but the rental company was quick to respond and address the problem.We will happily return!

Absolutely loved the quaint cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The moment we arrived I knew we had found a gem. My husband and I have been to Tahoe several times at different times of the year. This time we came for 12 days. Our arrival to Tahoe was delayed due to a blizzard. But when we arrived at the house the driveway had been plowed and stairs to house shoveled. It snowed several times during our stay. We never had trouble getting out of the neighborhood- we had studded snow tires and awd. Otherwise, no way to navigate the roads in the neighborhood. House is quaint. Feels like “real Tahoe”. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen had anything I needed. Washer and dryer are small. Best part of the experience was working with Hauserman. From start to finish they were the best. We’ve rented all over the world—Hauserman is by far the top of the list. We will be back, hopefully for many years.

The deck was great to sit on during the afternoon and early evening. The inside had plenty of room for 5 of us, yet many of the features needed some work. The lighting was poor. The dishes in the kitchen were unkept-several plates had mold growing on them. The upstairs master bedroom should have it's separate door.

Cozy Place in Lake Tahoe

We had a great experience renting. This property was clean and cozy. The location is right off the main road, making it super easy to get to Tahoe City and Kings Beach.

Quiet quintessential Tahoe Neighborhood

We meet annually somewhere in North Shore for Sweet 16 weekend and this rustic cabin fit our needs perfectly. It was cozy, warm and had all the essentials for the perfect weekend (except for the pillows). Ideal for family gatherings. A long table for games, a TV with all the cable stations, restful couches and beds upstairs where you can grab a few moments of quietude. A front deck to relax on and view the lake.May return next year. Someplace. Same time. Michael

Old school Tahoe charm

This Tahoe cabin is exactly what we hoped for. Lots of charm and comfort without the feel of an over-done Tahoe "theme" rental. The house is comfortable and the site is generous and private. We had a delightfully long & quiet weekend. The management company, Hauserman Rental Group, is supremely professional and helpful. Can't wait to return.
