Encantadora casa de pueblo con todas las comodidades del hogar.

Las casas del lago ofrecen un generoso diseño de dos niveles que incluye espacios separados de comedor y sala de estar. La cocina comedor está completamente equipada con ollas, sartenes, vajilla, cubiertos y electrodomésticos de tamaño completo, que incluyen lavaplatos, microondas, lavadora y secadora para su conveniencia. Fuera de la gran sala de estar hay un balcón con vistas al lago. El dormitorio principal también se abre a un balcón y tiene un baño en-suite con armarios y vestidor. El segundo dormitorio tiene un segundo baño completo adyacente. Cada Lake House ofrece aire acondicionado central, amplio armario y espacio de almacenamiento, televisión por cable en cada habitación y estacionamiento en garaje para un automóvil. The location of this property is top notch. Across from pickleball courts and the parking lot of Siesta Key Beach. The free trolley stops in front of the condo complex making it very convenient. This unit is spacious with a nice floor plan. However, it needs refurbishing and a deep cleaning. Limitations on the use of air conditioning resulted in some uncomfortable nights. Bathrooms and kitchen are aged and need updating considering the upscale pricing. Some kitchen and bathroom supplies were in short supply and needed to be purchased. The owner (Noël) is very responsive and check-in and communication were very good. After departure I expressed some of the concerns detailed above and the owner was very responsive and open to my input. I have no doubt Noël will address any constructive input by renters.

Perfect locarion

Great location and perfect for 4 people. Right across from the beach access and a short drive to the villiage! Fully stocked and functional kitchen. 2 nice bedrooms and large living area. 2 places for dining. View out the nice deck was of a small lake. We spent time watching the turtles. Very comfortable place. Would stay there again.

Perfect Siesta Retreat

The unit was very well stocked with towels/linens and beach supplies. Spacious. Clean and Great location. Plenty of dishes/pans for cooking and a cozy eat in kitchen. The balcony great for early morning and evening reading/relaxing. Complex very quiet and tropical plants very lush. Pool lovely and beach an easy walk! Property manager very helpful … would book again!!

Very good communication with the owner

The unit is very well equipped. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are very nice. Our only minor complaint would be the beach equipment. There were no usable umbrellas and the chairs we too low for us older folks. We bought a chair and left it for the next renters. The owner was so was very easy to text with and he responded immediately. We had a wonderful two weeks.

Overall was a great experience

Stayed for a week for spring break overall is was a great experience. Condo was in a great location right across from the public beach access. Check in was smooth got the code and keys without an issue. The condo is bigger than I expected both room are a good size with bathrooms right next to them. Washer a dryer in unit made it nice not to have to bring dirty clothes home. Has a nice view from the back balcony with a pond and in the distance you can see the beach. I would say 4.5 out of 5 stars the condo could use just a deep clean and then it would be perfect. We are happy with our stay and would stay again and recommend booking it.

Good location

Noel was very timely in response to questions. Location directly across from the public beach as advertised.We can be flexible about most minor issues but not cleanliness. The Master BR carpet was badly stained. Owner said it was cleaned but stains would not come out. Carpets need to be replaced. Th mildew smell is very strong. We had to wash everything when we got home and air out the luggage. We know about the “Florida smell” but this was way more than we have ever experienced. Although the location is great this place needs a Refresh.

Dear Chris, We appreciate our renters and always attempt to incorporate their comments into our planning. While we don't always completely agree, as is the case with the "Florida smell" comment. We are currently working with our HOA to replace all the windows, doors and sliding glass doors. Once this job is completed new carpet is being installed in the master bedroom. Thank you for your thoughts and we appreciate your interest in our unit.

Good & bad

First impression on entering was the musty/mildew smell… however the location was great right across from the beach & close to the restaurants & shops. We enjoyed the arrangement of the townhome but it could use updating, repair & a little deeper cleaning. We tried everything we could think of to freshen the place up but never could get rid of the smell. Had to launder everything when we got home. But if the hat doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice place.

HORRIBLE

The condo was used and never cleaned. There was food in the refrigerator, dirty dishes in dishwasher, toilets were filthy with mold and mildew, hand towels used, used soaps in both bathrooms and showers, garbage in garbage can for a long time. (One was tied up but I could see bugs, probably maggets, in the bag). When we walked in, there was a huge screen to a sliding door in the living room area leaning on the wall with the TV behind it. Also a large outdoor lounge chair in the room. It was like people stayed there or worked there and it was never cleaned (obviously) or never checked out for new guests to arrive. The water in the coffee maker was there so long there were dead bugs floating. I honestly don't know if the sheets were ever cleaned although host/owner said they were. When we walked in I immediately called the host, but she had no clue how this could be. She couldn't send a cleaning person for another 2 days. She said this isn't a Hilton and said she couldn't make me and my family happy. We were offered a full refund, and we agreed and left, but the host didnt process the refund and wouldn't answer our calls. We did call VRBO and they told us without her canceling the stay we couldn't get the VRBO fees back either. We were stuck.

We have rented our beach house since the mid 80's and along the way made all of the necessary updates to keep the property current with all the functional and aesthetic standards. Unfortunately, our housekeeping service missed some things in this particular cleaning and we were all disappointed to learn about that.... and we apologized the the renters. We have never had a negative review of any type. VRBO even stated the things in the complaint were "extremely" minor and could be easily rectified. The description in the renters complaint is a gross exaggeration because we could not see our way clear to give them(basically) free housing for their vacation....and they threatened a negative review if we didn't. We offered a reasonable discount to the renters but nothing was good enough. Also, we did not charge the standard cleaning fee. We determined their threats were excessive for a minor mistake and decided to refund all dollars for the unused nights. As you might suspect, we are paying detailed attention to all cleaning and service efforts going forward and look forward to our next renters. Thank you.

Wonderful Siesta Key location

Fantastic spot central to the main beach at Siesta Key. Turtles were fun to watch. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The pool area and tennis courts were night. We liked garage and access to some things like tennis rackets, cooler, etc. The only downside was that it is a bit of a hike to walk downtown or to the village district. There are shuttles, but it wasn’t really a convenient option.

Great Location and Spacious

The property was exactly as described. You can't beat the location. The short walk across the street to the beach was ideal. We loved the turtles and the condo had everything we needed to enjoy our week.

Close to everything, Wonderful Communication

Noel was very easy to communicate with and responded to all our questions quickly, no matter the time of day. The condo was clean and larger than expected, and the turtles in the pond out front were a hit! The location is close to the beach, and only a 5 minute drive from the downtown area. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to be back!

This Is The Place!!

The pictures do not convey how nice this home is.. literally directly across street from Siesta Key Beach.. Home was beautiful and spotless .. One could pack a bag of clothes, go here, and all comforts of home are provided!! If you are planning a trip to Siesta Key.. This is the place to stay!! Hopefully, we will get to book again soon. Thank you for the great memories!!!

Very pleasant stay. Walking distance from the beach. Place was clean and the pictures are very accurate. My only suggestion: buy a couple of new beach chairs!

Very nice location

The property is convenient if you are looking for something in walking distance to Siesta public beach. Very nicely landscaped, safe neighborhood. The condo had everything we needed for the week. (Except box fans for each bedroom) We are fan sleepers and there are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms so we had to go buy one. It did have one fan in the 2nd bedroom though just not the master. The condo overlooks a turtle pond which was very nice and peaceful and we enjoyed feeding them. I loved the layout of the place, it felt huge.! Other than some needed updating this condo is the perfect place. The owner/manager was very responsive and friendly.

Close to public beach

I like to cook on vacation, and condo had everything you could want for cooking. Pond outside balcony was full of soft shell turtles. Pretty cool. Osprey nest in tree across from balcony. Beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location on Siesta Key

This is a very well equipped unit close to the beach on Siesta Key. Tennis courts are close by, the public beach is just across the street and the restaurants of the Village are just over 1 mile away. This is a great place to stay.
