We had an amazing stay here. Easily fit our party of 9 with 5 bedrooms (all king/queen beds). Sergio and Sonia, the hosts, were incredible. They gave us many taxi rides into Redhook (including late at night) and facilitated rides elsewhere, making it easy for us to get around without a car. The house looks just like the pictures and has a great view overlooking the hills and ocean. Location near Redhook was great. The house is nestled into the hillside and in a quiet neighborhood. Sonia met us at the local grocery store to take us to the house because the address on Google Maps does not show up, as is the case frequently on St. Thomas. She was there for anything we needed and made the stay even better and easier. Overall, really enjoyed our stay, would come back in a heartbeat, and would recommend to all. 5 stars.

We arrived in St. Thomas and met the host at Food Center, where they guided us up the mountain to the home. Since addresses are basically non-existent here, getting a taxi could be difficult, so I definitely recommend renting a car.The home itself is large, beautiful, very clean, and accommodating. The host was also prompt and helpful whenever we had questions, which we really appreciated.My only real complaints was that there is no generator for power outages. The power was out for most of the day during our stay, and we ended up losing all of our expensive food.One other issue, which was outside of the host’s control, was the neighbors’ two dogs. They barked and yelped constantly, day and night, which made it hard to sleep at times and frustrating to relax during the day, even with windows closed.

Enjoyed our time

After having our stay at the ritz canceled 3 days before our trip this was only home available on island to accommodate 10 people. The home was nice and had a great view.i know the owner is pretty new to renting his home on vrbo and is really working to add more improvements to the home for future travelers.we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We stayed here for 3 days on the tail-end of our Virgin Islands vacation. Sonia greeted us at the local Food Mart to guide us to the location of the house. She gave us a brief tour of the home and we felt very welcomed and taken care of! She also gave us the number to a local taxi to help us with our transportation needs. The house is very clean. We utilized the Kitchen and all of the bedrooms for our group of 10. The setup is perfect for a large group. We enjoyed watching the sunrise with our coffee on the porch every morning.Other reviews noted cold water but we didn't have any difficulty with getting hot water for showers. We utilized the beach chairs when we went to Coki Beach. (Definitely go there early for parking and a good spot on the beach!)FYI- there is a dog and many roosters that might keep you awake at night so bring your earplugs if this will bother you. We thought it added to our island experience!Overall we are very happy with our stay! Thank you so much!!

Great for our large and diverse family

Communication with Sergio was reliable and accurate. House was spotless and comfortable for our family of ten, ages four to sixty. Secure with ample parking available. Proximity to Red Hook was a bonus with a grocery store nearby. I would recommend this property and will rent again when returning to St. Thomas with a large group.

Mountain Mansion

The property was very beautiful and impressive to say the least. My group really enjoyed the breathtaking views of the water and the city from the house. The home was very clean and spacious and the owner left so many accommodations for us , toilet tissue , dish soap, bar soap , laundry detergent, beach chairs , etc. the only small downside is if your not used to the area the roads can be quite intimidating. Also there were some cooling issues in the rooms with the A/C. Other than that it was worth every cent and if i return I would stay again !

Host was great

The property host Sergio was excellent, very attentive, willing to assist in anyway possible. He and other Host Sonya provided things to do while there. Overall the stay was good, Home very clean and the home actually look better than the pictures. Our concerns were no hot water while the guest was in the villa downstairs, once they checked out the water was hot. The other concern was the location. I didn’t feel comfortable renting a car, so I had to hire the driver that picked us up from the airport because he made a video on how to arrive at the property since there is no address. Other than location and hot water issue, Sergio was an absolute great host, He even offered to take us to the grocery store or get a rent a car. I thank you for allowing us to stay at your property, Sergio himself gets a 10 star rating as a superb host.

Stephanie and family was very independent as a host I expected to do more but ,,, they were quite self dependent and maneuver which is good. well about the hot water due to our hot weather my electrician have turn down the water heater into a warm temperature that left me defense less from guest like Stephanie who 's accustomed with steaming hot water sometime after the electrician came and turn up the water heater and problems was solved. In respond to the address it is a new developing area ,the streets names and number aren't in place as yet the GPS don't recognize the property yet until then we use land marks .However at the meantime on the main road which is 5 minutes away to villa if that much ,our land marks is Food Center Supermarket where all of our guests do their shopping ,further more it is a small community everyone knows each other there was no need for a video to get back to the property .A warm Thank you to Stephanie & family for choosing Simby D'lo vacation home as your vacation home.

The hostess was as helpful as she could be, given the situation. There has been power outages across the island apparently on and off for weeks. None of this was communicated to us at any point. Upon arrival, there was no power. After being there a short time, the power came on. briefly, then back off. Originally we were planning on doing a stay from 3/30 until 4/6. However, with no power, the water pressure kept dropping to a drip. The location is also very difficult to get to. The taxi drivers needed help via the hostess to find the location. The roads to and from the location are not safe to walk on, or realistically drive on. Essentially, we were trapped in a secluded location, with no power or water. We decided for the safety of our family it was best to leave as soon as possible, as we did not want to get stranded any further than we already were.

I cannot recommend this property, particularly for families or those expecting reliable basic amenities. During our stay, we experienced multiple total utility failures. The host is very kind and responsive but unfortunately this was overshadowed by the significant challenges we faced during our 4 night vacationOn two separate nights, the house lost both electricity and running water (which relies on an electrical pump) for hours at a time. This made the home uninhabitable, as we had no way to use the toilets, wash, or maintain a safe temperature. Additionally, two of the three bathrooms had no hot water at all during our stay, and the microwave did not work.A major concern for future guests: the cell reception at this location is nearly non-existent. When the power and water went out, we were unable to call for help or contact the host/Vrbo until we left the premises. Had to contact via text and that too only certain pockets in the property got enough signal to send the message. We felt the environment was unsafe for our children and were had to leave the property early on final day.Getting to the property is another challenge. To get to the property on check in you follow one of the employees from a local supermarket as the estate itself has no real address. Placing a pin still confused the GPS and on 3 occasions got stranded. Unless the host can provide proof that a back up generator has been installed, I would advise staying elsewhere.

The house was great. The location was a a little tricky for Ubers, but we had a rental and the host would drive you around if needed for a fee of course. The house was very nice of you. The view was amazing and it was very close to a grocery store. The grocery store was terribly expensive, however. But he was a five minute drive to red Hook about a 10 minute drive to a nice beach. The only complaint that I have is the refrigerator. The refrigerator was leaking and it took up a lot of our space to have food in the refrigerator. Everything was wet and it needs to be fixed once that’s fixed. The house was perfect.

Dreadful location!! **A Nightmare **

I believe in all fairness, so I will say that the house is very nice & clean. However, the location is dreadful with black centipedes everywhere. Upon our arrival I spoke with the owner a week prior I informed him that we were arriving a hour late. He told me that he didn't send a key. I asked why and he stated that he wanted to see who was checking in his house. I questioned that, but how could a trip to the Virgin Islands be horrible? Well when got in the cab he sent me a message saying he wanted to talk to the cab driver so he could tell him how to get to his property. So, I did just that and he met us on the rode. Now, I've stayed all over the world and No one has ever met me at their property. Not only was he there but, it was another young lady with him. I felt violated and mentally raped, robbed of privacy and consideration. So the owner asked if I was tbe host and I said yes, he said well I counted 12 heads and the reservation said 8 people. I told him that the application wouldn't allow me to put anymore than 8 people for the 5 bedroom that states that one if the rooms have a **King & Queen Bed** LIES. However, we did have 11 people with us staying at family house. He said that because they was there with us we had to pay and additional fee. I asked why??? It went from 1,500 to an additional $900 Cash. We were outraged but we were threatened to be put out. When I called him about the temperature of the house and rooms he sent the same girl with some guy with her, and the issue wasn't resolved. No hot water, and we were also advised to minimize our electricity usage !!!! And to keep his bou

Yes indeed it is a policy that Simby D'lo vacation home is very strict on , how many peoples are checking in the properties because there is an additional fees per person per nights ... the property that has 5 bedrooms the cap is after 5 peoples and each additional person is $ 75 per person per night , it is the same for the next property with 4 bedrooms . And a warm thank you for choosing Simby D'lo vacation home , as your vacation home.

Best Birthday Trip Ever

To start Sergio and Sonia are the best hosts I have ever had xperienced. They were on call for all needs, took us to the grocery store and atms when needed, gave us a great number for a taxi who took us everywhere for the weekend, and recommended places and activities for us to do. Every single thing that was recommended was an amazing time and when my original boat rental canceled, Sonia connected me to a captain who was able to accommodate us. The view from the house is breathtaking and there was more than enough room to fit everyone on the trip. Every morning Sonia or Sergio checked on us to ensure we did not need anything. The house was clean and comes with everything you need to cook. Plus there was a washer and dryer with soap to wash our clothes and towels after the beaches. Besides food, we honestly did not need anything. It was truly an amazing time and I plan on going back with my family.

Amazing host

From the moment we arrived, our host let us know if we needed anything, he was available to help us 24/7. Our mistake was thinking we could rent a car at the airport without a reservation. Our host was so kind and took us to the grocery store when we arrived and helped us with all of our questions. We were able to get a car the second day though and he helped us pick it up. It is a beautiful view from the balconies. The bedrooms are very big and plenty of room is this very beautiful villa. We did a lot of things during the day, which is why you want a car so you can drive to get to them. We enjoyed the evenings at the villa. He was very kind and brought us local rum from the island and just wanted to be sure we enjoyed every minute of our trip.

The welcoming guests that is what a host job to do and make sure their guest feel at home... but Heidi with her bodies and I there were a connection beyond ,it seems as though we’ve known each other for years, I recommend Heidi as a 5 stars ⭐️ and more .
