This vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round.

Modern recent beach cottage build with modern décor and furnishings. CCTV with basic cable, wireless internet access, baby gate, and highchair/booster. Covered porch with furniture, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. Pet friendly. Enjoy public boat dock access at the end of the street and slight ocean view from the property!

Also, this home is equipped with an outdoor passenger lift, which is perfect for carrying your luggage to the house or bypassing the stairs. The outdoor passenger lift has a maximum capacity of 500lbs.

Enjoy the private pool and park grill so you can take advantage of the best of both worlds on your vacation. The pool is not heated, but is open year round.

Property was perfectly located, pool was great, check in and check out was easy. The only thing I noticed was a couple of cans inside the pool area. The front blinds were chewed by a previous pet.

Great house in superb location

This house worked perfectly for our group with easy access to the beach and welcoming common areas for us to hang out in, in and out of the sun.

The house was great and included more amenities than expected. The lift was GREAT for grocery runs and especially when we first arrived and brought everything we owned with us! The pool was lovely and so appreciated, especially since I don’t go into the ocean because that’s the sharks house! There IS a trade off with staying down the west end area in that it’s all residential and there’s very little on that end in the way of stores or restaurants, but the upside is less traffic congestion etc.

Glide right into this beach house

We would stay at Glidepath over & over again! It’s such a nice, comfortable beach house! It was exactly as described. Perfect location. Loved our first visit to Oak Island! Definitely will not be our last!

Peace Needed

This property was absolutely gorgeous....and clean as could be. Every detail was thought of by the owners from WD40 to Band-aids (yes, we needed both lol). The location was wonderful with quick, easy beach access. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful get away from this crazy world we live in right now.

The place was great except beach buggy and chairs we hoped to use were rusted and yucky Pool was great ! House was clean and roomy! I was unable to get cable to work on live shows on tv. Otherwise great visit to the beach👍

Great location and brand new house with pool

Overall very good experience of staying in the house. But had couple issues during our stay: No toilet paper and paper towels- owner provided only 2 toilet paper rolls for 8 guests for 2 nights. We had to buy it. Check-in was at 4pm and check out at 9am, asked owner 3 times if we change check-in and check-out time at least for an hour but did not get a response from him. Other than that, house is very good for family or friends group, we have really enjoyed it. Thank you

Excellent house/location

We had a wonderful stay at this house. Really loved the location. The house was clean and modern. We loved the fenced area by the pool. The walk to the beach was less than expected, only two minutes to the beach access. Also a short walk to the boat ramp at the end of the street. Just note that the boat ramp is rather shallow and does not have an associated dock. Overall, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances. Also just note that there were no essentials like cooking oil/salt/hand soap and we needed to buy these from the store. Overall very minor issues, and we thoroughly enjoyed the house and would highly recommend to others. The elevator was a plus, didn’t know this would be as useful as it was, especially with an infant /stroller.

The home is beautiful! The owners went out of their way to be sure the property was clean and ready

We loved it! Thank you. Enjoyed the pool and the beach. Beds slept like a dream! Kitchen is well stocked and ease of access and linen set up is very nice. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We would love to return.

Great house

House was nicely furnished and decorated, looked new and everything was functional. Everything was pretty clean, except for the first on all baseboards and cabinet fronts that's to be expected during the main season when they don't have much time for detailed cleaning. Pool wasn't built yet when we booked and it was kind of difficult to get information about what it would look like. We booked without knowing exactly and luckily it was a nice inground pool. They also had a warm outdoor shower, a beach wagon and some.beach tots available which we appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and beach was a 2 minute walk. The one thing I didn't like about the location was that none of the roads had sidewalks. But great vacation overall!

Best In The Area

By far the best rental property in the area. I've rented over 20 places around Oak Island and this is my family's new favorite spot. I would say if you enjoy a harder mattress when you sleep would be to bring a pad or something to help firm it up but besides that this place is perfect.
