Cabina de cuatro estrellas en el tranquilo Lago Bass: ¡reservando ahora para el verano de 2019!

Esta cabina fue completamente remodelado en 2008 para crear una sensación de cuatro estrellas la calidad del hotel, escondido en los bosques del norte de Bass Lake, cerca de Traverse City. Las camas y las sábanas son de pago cómodo y acogedor. La cabina es parte de un complejo pintoresco en más de 5 acres con más de 700 pies de frente al lago. Siéntase libre para relajarse y tener un fuego en su propia playa privada o utilizar algunos de los servicios compartidos en la propiedad, incluyendo lugares de pesca, zonas de recreo de arena un gran pozo de fuego y el muelle de la cubierta. Esta cabina es uno de los pocos remodelado y disponible para el alquiler, así como para grupos más grandes.

Nuestras actividades favoritas son la pesca de los barcos en los puertos o fila (disponible en alquiler), natación, esquí acuático, el tubo, y va a Boone Long Lake Inn 'cubierta grande' para la música en vivo, cócteles y buena comida que está a menos de 2 millas de distancia . La famosa Moomer helado es sólo por el camino de largo cerca del lago para el postre. Nuestra casa de campo de golf es 'La Corona', que se encuentra cerca de 2 millas de la cabina. Beautiful setting.

Beautiful, rustic setting! Quiet and relaxing. Owners are very attentive. Even our 5lb shih tzu, Lily, loved the cottage and grounds.

Lake cottage close to town

Excellent property on lake with all amenities, close to town and clean. Grill and outside firepit by the lake are also available.

Relaxing dog friendly get away

Highly recommend for a relaxing nature-filled stay. It was perfect for a stay with an active dog who loved the lake. Access to the kayaks and paddle boat was also great. Really peaceful.

Nostalgic Lake Cabin

Nostalgic lake cabin, with modern updates. Comfortable living space with plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the lake view. It was a nice landing spot and central to several sight seeing attractions.

Cute weekend getaway

Cute little cabin for us and our three kids to get away. We loved the little beach, the dock, and the boats. There were lots of games inside, the heater was just right to keep it cozy, and everything was very comfortable. Thank you!!

Cute cabin

Convenient location, and loved the dock area. Easy to drag our kayaks out. Really loved wakimg up and using the hammock. Very mucky lake, but the geese and cranes were so wonderful to watch and listen to. Cabin was quaint, but exactly what we needed. Clean too!

Summer 24 family vacation

This property was super cute. Great setup with plenty of areas to hangout by the lake. Super comfortable and relaxing. Bass Lake was quiet and we loved all the sandy beach area and the fishing was great too. Our family enjoyed it a lot. We would absolutely come back.

the cabins are rustic but clean. my husband enjoyed the fishing. the owners are wonderful! they were a pleasure to work with, answered any questions we had and made my family feel like their family. i would definitely stay here again!

Not so often does a property exceed your expectations, but this one absolutely did. My family (me, my husband, nine yo boy, six yo girl and a mini doxie) stayed for seven nights and LOVED it. The photos really don’t do the place justice. We enjoyed slow mornings and later nights on the (what seems to be new) dock - fishing! The location was between areas we love to visit - Glen Arbor and Traverse City.My kids loved having a bunk room to themselves. It was the perfect place for a family of four who loves to fish and just have a great time where they’re at. I loved that we felt like just being at the cottage was fun. The owners were great. Mike met us when we got there and Kathy communicated throughout the week.You won’t regret your stay.

A quiet oasis

A hidden gem located just a hop skip and a jump from all the places we love to visit and things we love to do! Waking up to the loons warbling , NO traffic sounds, a dock for my dock diving dog, a sandy shore for my " track the fishies" dog, a hammock, an outdoor eating area and a cozy cottage to relax in! It doesn't get any better for a much needed wind down get-a-way from work.

Peaceful cabin

The cabin was perfect for our peaceful getaway. It was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The cabin was situated on a wooded lot on a quiet lake. We had our own private beach and pier. My husband loved fishing off the pier in the mornings and we kayaked on the lake in the afternoon. We were just a short drive from Traverse City and area. It was the perfect place for us. Thanks to our hosts Mike and Kathy. They were very helpful.

Beautiful location!

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful location, all the amenities we needed were there. Host very communicative when we had a small issue. The only two things that could be improved upon: 1. A shelf above the bed- the person sleeping on the inside has no where to put their things. 2. A mesh wifi extender- we had internet, but signal was very weak, and my phone was kicked off of it about half the time. Otherwise a great stay, and would stay again!

Fall Color weekend

This little cabin on the lake was the perfect getaway to check out Michigan's Fall colors. It was a bit rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit, but we loved the view of the lake and the coziness of the cabin. The cabin's central location was an easy drive from M22 and M119. It has most everything you need for a weekend away. There is just a toaster oven and cooktop, not a full stove, so keep that in mind if you're planning on eating in most of your stay. And if you visit in the cooler season, don't bring a ton of electronics or you'll flip the breakers when you plug in the heaters.

Nice quiet get away

The cabin is situated with 3 other cabins on the property but there’s plenty of space between them for privacy and quiet. You have your own small dock, little beach with chairs, hammock, fire pit, and a gazebo. All with access to a nice sized quiet lake that you can launch kayaks from if you bring your own. The cabin while not hugely spacious is a good size for a couple and 1 or 2 kids. The pictures don’t do the place Justice, it exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect too. 10-15 min to downtown TC and 30-40 min to the dunes but you’re in the middle of the country where it’s quiet. You can’t go wrong staying here!

The peaceful paradise we were looking for!

We had the most amazing week for our first time in Michigan!! My husband and I traveled with our two boys 7 & 10, as well as our golden retriever. We couldn’t have asked for a better cabin on the lake. We were perfectly situated between all the activities we wanted to see and do, Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, Empire, Glen Arbor. We spent almost every evening fishing off the private dock & the boys loved catching all the fish! Our golden loved being able to jump in the water right off the beach area as well. The cabin was fantastically stocked with everything we needed & the air fryer was so nice to have. The Olsens really have thought of everyone & we would 100% stay here again. Thank you for letting us create some core memories with our boys ♥️

Perfect spot to relax

We had such a nice week in this simple but comfortable cottage. It is clean and has everything you need to enjoy relaxing near the lake. The owners live a few doors down and are welcoming and responsive while also leaving plenty of space for you to do your own thing. We loved birdwatching on the dock in the mornings while drinking coffee, taking kayaks out on the lake which is very quiet for its size, reading books (and napping!) in the hammock, eating dinner on the tented patio, and sitting around the fire ring in the evenings. It was made all the better that we were able to have our dog with us too. All this, and just a 15 minute drive to downtown Traverse City, easy access to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Lelanau Peninsula, and a variety of microbreweries in the area. Really a lovely spot and we're looking forward to our return!

Charming Lakeside Retreat!

My family and I just returned home from a weeks stay at this gorgeous cabin. We had such an amazing time. We vacation in Traverse often and typically stay at the Homestead or a hotel downtown...this is our accommodation of choice from here on out! The pictures do not do it justice! We stayed here with some friends of ours for a total of 4 adults and 2 ten month olds - plenty of space - we were able to comfortably fit a pack n play in each room for the little ones. The cabin was very clean which made it great for the babies to crawl around. Great views of the lake from inside of the cabin as well as a great place to relax on the private beach! We spent several nights out by the lake around the fire pit. We used the gas grill often to make dinner at home. This cabin is so close to Traverse City, grocery stores, restaurants, etc which made it really convenient to run out and grab last minute items for the kiddos. Love love love this cabin and will definitely be back soon!

Peace and quiet on Bass Lake

Kathy and Mike were great hosts. The property is rustic, but lovely. Lots of loons. The deck has serene views of the beach and the beach is equipped for lots of outdoor seating, fire pit and a hammock. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom on the small side but manageable. We’re building a home on the next lake west of Bass, so this cabin will be a great spot to hang out at as construction progresses.

Exceptional Hosts

Communication with the hosts was outstanding from prior to check in to check out and even suggestions for dinner. The property was quaint, private and super clean. We enjoyed our family time here and hope to return soon.

My name is Mike Olson. I grew up in Traverse City and now live in Illinios. I enjoy spending time at our cabin with my wife and two kids, ages 21 and 23 I am an information technology professional that travels quite a bit. So far, I've been able to commute out of the Cherry Capital Airport during the summer and spend a lot of time at the lake.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My wife spent her summers growing up on Bass Lake with her family. Now, several family members own property on the lake including the group that bought these quaint cabins with us. We love being so close to town, and yet looking out on such a serene setting. The kids really enjoy seeing all the wildlife including turkeys, deer, loons, owls, foxes, and all the other Northern Michigan wildlife. The sandbars are a great place to swim and wade around with the little ones. We enjoy catching up with friends there while floating in the lake or tossing around a football. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I enjoy fishing for bass or just taking the kids out to fish for bluegills. The evening boat rides around the lake are great, and we waterski every chance we get. Once a week or so we head over to Boones and have dinner on the big deck while enjoying a local singer play some tunes. We also frequent Oaky's and Bradley's for good food and entertainment. They are close to the cabin.
