Lake Lanier retreat! - What a FABULOUS paradise! A 10-home gated upscale community on Wahoo Creek with slow, peaceful living. Located at the end of the cul-de-sac. Rare LEVEL PATH leads out to an amazing 32x32 covered double-slip party deck with a DEEP WATER boat dock. Main level features a luxurious master suite (King Bed) with master bath featuring a soaking tub, separate bath/shower and double vanity. Gourmet kitchen boasts gleaming hardwoods with finely cut granite. With an open, expansive feel your kitchen overlooks a cozy family room with a fireplace. French doors open to an expansive screened-in porch and large deck.

Guests can enjoy privacy with your 2 full-sized bedrooms (each with a queen bed) on upper level with private full bath and vanity room. An office is available you convenience.

We have just been upgraded to AT&T Fiber for internet. Please see speed testing in the pictures section to believe the super fast internet speeds for remote work options.

For in-home entertaining bring your guests to the fully finished daylight basement which has an amazing game/entertainment room and a home theatre. Incredibly, there is also an expansive kids bedroom(1 bunk bed, 1 trundle bed and a twin bed) and a full bath! Walk out to the lower deck and unwind in the most relaxing hot tub! The hot tub overlooks an outdoor fire pit. You can access to the secluded cove with paddleboards and a canoe. Board games and puzzles are available for your entertainment.

Girl’s Family Trip

We had a wonderful experience at this property. The home is perfectly appointed, has nice amenities that we enjoyed, was very clean and centrally located for Day trips to Dahlongea, Blue Ridge and Helen. Robert is an excellent host. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice Lake Getaway with lots of activities!

Wonderful secluded, wooded lake house with a nice flat path to the lake that opens to a nice view of the lake and two story deck. Overall the house has everything you need but could use a little upkeep on the exterior but lots of activities and lake toys to have a fun weekend.

Lots of fun, perfect lake house!

This house had everything we could want! Besides a beautiful lake and dock, it also had a pool table, table tennis, putting green, corn hole, movie theater, poker table, and a fire pit! Was very clean and pet friendly! Our family and friends had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Will def return in the future!

Wonderful lake house

The location of the house was outstanding. The house was well equipped for cooking and had lots of extra sheets and towels. The walk to the dock was fairly easy and we all loved swimming in the lake. We made use of all the inclusions, paddle boards, hot tub, ping pong table, pool table, poker table and chips and theater room. We’ll be back!!

Wedding Bliss!!

My wife and I headed north from Jacksonville for a wedding. We chose this lake house based on all the amenities, location, and rustic charm. We served brunches on the newly renovated deck and loved the cozy nights by the fire pit. The house layout fit our group perfectly. Games downstairs, group cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, and a peaceful spot to get a little work done upstairs. The property manager made the trip effortless and we already booked our long summer trip. We can’t wait to get back to the Hideaway on Lake Lanier.

Amazing home

Our family had a wonderful vacation in GA this summer. This house was a great place for our family to stay. The home is very ckean warm and welcoming. We really could not think of anything more that they could have provided. Beautiful view- we loved sitting on the back porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and sitting by the lake in the evening. Hosts are superb! Great communication and very helpful when needed. The house is ialso n close proximity to all sorts of trails and other activities to enjoy.

Wonderful Property

This home has everything you need for a family/group get away. The kitchen was loaded. We cooked all meals in & found lots of pots & pans & everything we needed in the kitchen. One cupboard was even loaded with spices which rarely happens. Usually the cupboards are bare. Beds were comfortable & there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out as needed. I highly recommend this property. Robert answered quickly whenever I emailed him. All good!!

Incredible Lakefront Getaway Home

We were fortunate to find this home when planning our next lake vacation. The photo's depicted this home that would provide plenty to do for entertainment even when not out on the lake. We used virtually every one during our stay. Putting green, corn hole toss, ping pong, billiards, card table, movie room and basketball. The most entertaining was watching our college senior's black lab play in and around the lake. The host was terrific in communicating prior to the trip and also checked in a couple days into the stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We had a blast and appreciate the property as well as the host for making this vacation memorable for all who were there.

Very Responsive Host

Rob is the most thorough and responsive host I have encountered. ALL questions we asked he answered quickly with a very positive demeanor. The property is just as it looks in the photos. We had a party of 4 adults and 6 kids and were VERY comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out both outside and inside. We took advantage of all the fun the house had to offer- poker, popcorn, a movie in the theatre room, playing pool and outside we enjoyed relaxing on the dock and in the hot tub. We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can return.

Great stay on Lake Lanier

We enjoyed a weekend away at this lovely place right on the lake. The home is spacious and has great amenities. We enjoyed the basement with a pool table and media room the most. There is a hot tub outside which was a nice feature. The view from the dock is quite nice and we appreciated the quiet neighborhood. We were disappointed that there was little silverware as there were only about 10 plastic forks available for our family of 6 people for the entire weekend. We did contact the property manager but were basically told we were on our own so we had to keep running plasticware through the dishwasher to remain sanitary. There is no silverware allowed due to Covid-19 (which I do appreciate), but the lack of plasticware made things virtually the same. Nevertheless, the home is nice and thoughtfully designed.

This was the perfect place for our family. There were plenty of areas to gather together as a family and allowed us to each have our own space as well. Our host was very responsive and we would definitely consider this property again in the future.

Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed at this lovely lake home for a low key bachelorette weekend with my daughter (the bride), my sister, her daughters and my daughter’s bridesmaids. We went on a tour of the wineries and had lovely evenings at the house. Great house, and very nice host that enabled us to have a great weekend with the lovely fall leaves.

We really enjoyed all the amenities this awesome lake house ! We played pool, watched movies, boated, tubed, and swam off the dock. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for the whole family!

Great house on lake

Great location for family get together. Fishing, boating, pool table, corn hole, ping pong and putting. Nice hot tub. House is very nice, Great modern kitchen. Loved it!

Great Home

This was the perfect place to stay for our group! Kitchen was perfect for us as it was stocked with all necessary appliances, utensils, etc. Only thing to note was that their inlet is under a tiny bridge so keep in mind you’ll have to lower your bimini top or rack on your boat.

Best vrbo on the lake period

This home has it all…. double deck party dock, hot tub, pool table, theatre room, amazing set up on the back deck with top of the line smokers and grills plus all the “extra”s for the green egg, office space upstairs that I used daily so I didn’t have to work from my office in town, great master bedroom, plenty of space yet feels like home. On top of that it’s one of the best locations on the lake with ultimate privacy and serenity. If you have the chance book it! Host is excellent with communication and making sure you’re takin care of!

An Amazing Birthay/Valentine's Trip

I can't say enough about this place and the owner. First off, I value great customer service and the owner was so responsive and helpful from before I booked until after I left. I had a special request for 46 balloons and bottles of champagne and bourbon and they delivered. Even added in a card which was totally unexpected. The house was clean and well appointed. There were a couple of damaged items but it did not take anything away from our time there. The amenities are endless, there is no way to be bored in this house even as two adults. We even tested out the treadmill. The backyard was a dream. My husband loved the fire pit where he started his first pit fire ever. The walk down to the dock was beautiful and easy. We fished off the dock, rented a boat and docked it there, and had a great time just looking out at the water. The area is absolutely beautiful, super quiet, and close to stores. I could say so many more wonder things but I will just end with "stay for yourself, you will not be disappointed"! To the owner, thank you so much again for making a very special trip even more memorable.

Perfect lakeside getaway

This property was beautiful and perfect for a family. We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong as well as the big movie room. It’s a quiet and safe neighborhood with a beautiful lake. We loved our stay!

Everything about our time here was perfect. The beds, pillows and linens were all very clean and comfortable! There was so much to do in the basement for our son! Perfect walk down to the lake. We would love to come back and stay again!

Just read the reviews. Guests are constantly raving about their family's experiences during their stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Lots of amenities for all ages. Soft slope to the lake (no stairs). The location on the water excellent with little to no boat traffic.

Amenities! Amenities! Amenities! Fully stocked kitchen. New Appliances like the very cool Samsung interactive refrigerator that is always talked about post stay. Hot Tub, ping pong, corn hole, fire pit for outdoor fun. Movie room, pool table, treadmill for those cold days.
