Great little getaway in a quiet neighborhood

My only complaint was the tight parking space as the house is essentially down an alley. The place itself is quite nice and comfy. Close proximity to just about anything you may want to do while in Seattle which was nice.

We stayed here while we visited for a Kraken game. Plenty within walk distance to do and eat. Owners had great communication and very thoughtful. Thank you!

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, our family of 8 were flying out of Seatac early in the morning and this was an easy overnight stay before flight. There are a lot of stairs so make sure everyone is your group can comfortablity go up and down stairs (my 89 year old grandma did fine, but other elderly might feel uncomfortable).

This is a really cute place. There are a LOT of stairs in the house, but I think that is normal for this area. We all fit very well. Very clean.

We struggled a bit with the split level layout. Lots of stairs to go up and down with luggage, unless you leave it in the garage. Also had never booked with VRBO where I paid a separate deposit at check in. We were there for 2 nights before leaving for a cruise. It was very close to the cruise port which was good and public transit was very accessible. Lots of hills and stairs, so if you have anyone with accessibility issues, this is not the place for you. We had tons of luggage for a 7 day cruise so it was a challenge. The beds however are super comfy and the kitchen is spacious. We had 8 adults.

What an enjoyable stay!! Just like being at home! Beds really comfortable! A bathroom to go with each bedroom! Very clean. Kitchen was really nice and well stocked with dishes and pans. Just great in every way! We definitely recommend it to all and we will certainly choose this one for a future stay.

Good location, but lots of stairs, and grungy

This place is in a great location for accessing Seattle but is quite old and grungy, has an ant problem, stained carpets, and lots of stairs.

Great Base for Seattle Adventure

The house was perfect for a group... Everybody had their own bedroom and bathroom... It was centrally located close to everything. Well equipped kitchen...House is all vertical because it's Queen Ann area, great views, but could be an issue for someone with mobility issues due to stairs.

Great location in Queen Anne

Enjoyed our stay at this townhome with lots of stairs. Walked the path along the waterway one morning and across the bridge to Fremont for coffee. The only downside is the number of stairs in the unit so I would suggest those with mobility issues consider this. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable for our family of six adults. Bonus was the sunshine for nearly all of our late November stay.

Great property and host

The house and communication with the host are great. One thing to note, there are quite a few stairs both outside and inside. We had a couple of people with mobility issue and they found that difficult. Otherwise, can't recommend highly enough.

We’ll be back!

It was a wonderful experience start to finish. Communications with Vince were excellent, he showed initiative in checking in on us early in the weekend. We were in Seattle for a small (3 people) family retreat. The house was a great space, very clean, uncluttered, good floor plan with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths which was great for privacy and quiet time. Good neighborhood, quiet, safe, convenient location. Highly recommend it, and we will be back, Thanks, Vince!

Mother/daughters weekend

We stayed here for a long weekend. Plenty of space and bathrooms which was nice. LOTS of stairs inside and out. Parking is very tricky. Do not expect to park a large vehicle in the available space and the spot in front of the garage is a straight drop. You can find street parking but that can be a gamble depending on time of day etc. The house had a lot of ants and was also very “lived” in. The carpeting needs to be cleaned at a minimum.

Good place in a great location with a reasonable price

Vince and Ann were good hosts. We enjoyed staying at this property, it was in a great area, and very accessible to what we hoped to do while visiting. Also, it has nice views of the local area. The amenities were pretty good, and we were able to fit six people reasonably in here; any more would be uncomfortable. A few points to mention: the terms to review and agree to before being able to book this were a lot to process with their separate portal system; unfortunately the place wasn't ideal for a relatively hot weekend in Seattle with no well-functioning air conditioning; there was ant activity when we arrived so we had to be very mindful of food and trash areas throughout; the oven didn't seem to fully close; and we were notified late that we would not be able to check-in until 30+ minutes later than agreed to (and we were accommodating), but when we requested a similar extension of time to checkout, we were not extended that same courtesy which seemed unfair. The checkout time is earlier than usual at 10am. Honestly, the place is good in a great location; wouldn't advise staying with more than 5 or 6 people.

North Queen Anne Stay

This home is in a great location with a fabulous master bedroom with a nice view. Nearby many things to see. Three floors and best to not have a large car with limited parking in Seattle.

Great location, comfortable, good communication: 4.8/5 stars

All in all, this is a good place to stay and the description is almost 100% accurate. Vince communicated well and answered all my questions promptly. This is a great location between Fremont/Ballard and Seattle/Lake Union with access to many local attractions. Queen Anne shops and restaurants are just up the hill. Having 2 parking spots in Seattle is fantastic. Note one is very steep and other is flat and adjacent to a drop off. If you use ride share, it is easiest to have someone meet the car on Etruria and direct them to the alley for pick up. Check in was easy and communication good, however, after being asked in November if we needed an early check in for our July stay (answer=yes,) we ultimately did not get it. This would have been fine if we were told from the beginning, or even the day before, but we were communicating back and forth up until regular check-in time, which was inconvenient. We appreciated an extra hour for check out, but also did not get confirmation of this until day of departure. In addition, the property description states “bag drop available for early check-in late check out.” Be aware this is NOT the case. I was given a company name with various locations where we pay to leave bags. I suggested to Vince he update the description and as of today, it hasn’t changed. We had 6 adult guests, which we thought a perfect number for this property. Beds were comfortable. Each bedroom had a bathroom as described. While each bathroom had one towel per person, we could have used a few extra. The kitchen is stocked with basics (and coffee!) Appliances are nice, although we didn’t cook. It is a bonus to have a washer/dryer. We ran out of paper towels and didn’t have enough dish rags/towels. The carpets were wet in most places when we checked in and did not dry completely during our stay. The living room area is small, but adjacent to larger kitchen area with table and island barstools for more seating. The Roku TV does not have local channels. We tried to add apps in order to log into our own accounts (such as Golf) but were unsuccessful (needed to enter a code.) I had some confusion regarding payment (VRBO fee charged upon booking and then rental fees charged by property management company closer to stay dates; I had completed required forms but kept getting emails that I needed to confirm more information for payments.) Vince was quick to answer and let me know all was well. 4.8/5 stars.

Great location and lovely home

Our family stayed when in town for a wedding. The kids were super excited about their bedroom and we loved the location and proximity to our daughter’s house. This home is well kept and nicely decorated. We will stay again.
