Lovely home, peaceful country setting. Short drive to all KC area offers

This Country Cottage is situated in a quiet and beautiful wooded area southeast of downtown Kansas City. It is on one level, has key-less access and private parking. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa sleeper in the living area to comfortably sleep 6. Guests will enjoy a full, well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and outdoor living space. With an open layout it has a spacious and welcoming feel. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed, 2 closets, and master bath with a shower and jetted tub, as well as 2 sinks. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a desk and closet, and access to the second bathroom, which has a shower. There is also access to the second bathroom from the hall. Both bathrooms are large and have large counters and mirrors and lots of storage.

The Cottage is separated from the residence of the owners by a 3-car garage. There are no additional homes on the property.

We had a great time at the country cottage. Place was clean and really cute, kitchen had all the supplies we needed, beds are comfortable, plenty of linens, so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely plan to stay there again the next time we’re in the area. We would highly recommend this country cottage!

We truly loved our stay at the country cottage. Home is beautiful. Loved the open floor plan and how well the home was decorated. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

Guests were easy to communicate with. Cleaning was a little more involved, but I anticipated this as they had 3 young children with them. Overall they took good care of things and we would welcome them back.

Stunning in-law suite cottage. Very spacious and cared for. It’s truly telling how much the owners care for their property and each guest. Nice and remote but not far from civilization. I live nearby and will be recommending this place to our out of town guests.

Guests were easy to communicate with and followed special instructions well (they needed additional parking). In general things were left in good shape, although the kitchen floor and counter were very messy. We were perplexed as to why the thermostat was set at 62 degrees when it was in the low to mid 70s outside. We would rent to them again.

We had a great stay, beautiful house and close to gatlinburg for restaurants and other activities. The driveway was a steep hill, but it’s expected in the mountains. Would come back!

Check-in was easy peasy. This home is more than a cottage. The place is larger thanour own home! Beautifully furnished. Thick fluffy towels in the bathrooms. Everything you would need to cook a meal if you didn't want to eat out. Its very scenic, quiet, and relaxing. Loved our stay.

My family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cottage set in the country but with all modern amenities. The setting is just gorgeous, and the owners were great with their communication and attentiveness. Would definitely stay here again!

This house was beautiful and very inviting for our family. We were able to host our family and grown children with grandbabies quite comfortably. The table and counter bar-top has enough room for everyone to sit at. The bed was comfortable. Our favorite Christmas movies were available. And the sweet decorations helped us feel at home. The water pressure was fabulous in both bathrooms and kitchen. Every room is very spacious. We loved the open layout for fellowship. We didnt get to enjoy the beautiful wrap around porch because it was very cold and December. Yet in another season, we would definitely utilize that space. We highly recommed This Country Cottage!
