UP adult family vacation

We enjoyed the house very much. The pictures don't do the place justice. Each of the 3 bedrooms had their own bathroom plus 1 extra half bath. Very convenient location to Munising.

Munising Quiet Beautiful

Accommodated six adults and five young children great. House is mid-80’s decor, but functioned perfectly. Could use thorough touch-up and cleaning, but fine. Area is quiet along with town. Great Picture Rock evening boat cruise and trail hiking. Lake is COLD! Gorgeous small town area. .

Excellent Stay

This property has 3 bedroom suites all with their own bathroom, plus a loft with two beds. There is also a bathroom on the main floor. Sprawling open floorplan with full kitchen and dining table, huge living room, is is a shame that their was so much to do in Munising that we only ate breakfast and slept here mostly. We did enjoy the outdoor firepit one night. A gas grill is provided as well as garage parking.

Great Location, Poor Quality

The location of the house and the size (# of bedrooms and bathrooms) were excellent. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. We could see dirt on the kitchen floor when we first entered. The kitchenware was poor quality also. We saw two mice in the kitchen one night. This place would be amazing if the house was properly maintained.

Nice Space for Multigenerational Trip

This trip consisted of my family of 6 plus my parents and one of my brothers. My kids had a great time with there space in the loft, which consisted of a daybed, trundle, and a futon. The one downstairs bedroom is directly below the loft, so the grandparents got to listen to the kids until they settled down each night. There are two other bedrooms upstairs on the opposite side of the house, so we were all spread out with plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Overall we enjoyed staying at this house.

Beautiful Views

This property has absolutely gorgeous views and would definitely stay again. Location was quiet and secluded with very little traffic on the road. Lots of room in the house to have space and large areas to spend time with others in playing cards or watching TV.

Great location. The pots and pans were very old and grungy. Need new ones. No dish towels, teapot, large mixing bowel. It needs to be much cleaner. If you are going to continue to rent your home you need to up your game to attract good people.

Not as nice as the pictures look

Not as nice as the pictures look. Could definitely use some good cleaning. We did find mice in the cabin and garage! Also there were no kitchen towels so we had to use ones from the bathroom which was strange and I did text her about it. The lawn was full of pickers so we had to be very careful where the dog went.

House was a bit dissappointing

This was our first visit to Munising and the Michigan UP and we had a great time on the lake. The house was a disappointment on the trip though. We arrived and the home wasn't at all cleaned well. We vacuumed, swept the kitchen, hallways, garage, etc. The carpet was stained, only full-size beds in the home, and all though it had 4 bathrooms, they were dirty, dingy and dated. We immediately had to request toilet paper and propane as the property was out. The cooking utensils, appliances, pots and pans were very old and stained. For the excess nightly charges and fees, it was not well kept and extremely over priced.

Pictured Rocks family adventure.

Perfect place for our group of 7 and a dog. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Very conveniently located to all pictured rocks adventures. Pam was great to deal with and answered all my questions promptly.

Blessed Stay

We love this place so much. My family and I had so much fun and relaxation. Everyone had their own space when needed. We loved all the views, the firepit was awesome. The open concept of the house. All the amenities were perfect. We were very blessed to have stayed at this place. You leave with such a warm feeling and much love. The house has very positive energy.

Spacious, Feels Like Home, Close to Town

We had a great experience at this location. Check in and out was super easy. Location was very peaceful. Three bedrooms each with their own bathrooms in addition to a loft was plenty of space for our family. Loved the side porch with swing and a fire pit. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying wanting the easy access to Munising but privacy outside town.

Perfect for us

We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers that stayed here and we all loved the house and the location. It's located very close to town but far enough away that it is very quiet at night. The lake is very close to the house and it was just so peaceful.

Great place for a family

We came in July with our 4 kids (10-4 years old) and black lab. It was our first time in the area and this house was prefect for our needs. There was more than enough space for us to spread out and the house had everything we needed. I noticed when we first arrived that there wasn't hand soap in the bathrooms. After a quick text to Pam soap was promptly delivered to the house. It was really nice being about to use the garage for our sandy/muddy shoes after returning from hiking or the beach. Enjoying coffee on the porch swing was probably my favorite part of this property.

Great house, beautiful view

Great house with lots of room for our large family. Plus, there was plenty of “supplies” around the house that, unfortunately, not all rentals provide like extra towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, etc. We will definitely be checking the availability on this house next time we travel here.

Family getaway

We stayed for a long weekend. Explored all we could around Munising. Loved the house and it was plenty of space for the 9 of us. Would definitely rent again no complaints.

We rented the property to snowmobile. Location was near trails and enough room for trucks/trailers

Experience was good. Only problem we had was the bedrooms upstairs were too hot. Someone came out to check on it and there wasn't anything they could do. We used fans and cracked a window in January to correct the issue.

Great skiing vacation

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and two teens. Each bedroom has lots of privacy; the common areas were comfortable and just the right size. The house is really nice. It has a lodge-like feel. Pam was prompt with responses to the few questions I had. Great for a week of cross-country skiing!

Great location if your goal is to be within easy driving distance of Pictured Rocks. The house itself was large and can easily fit a large group, as advertised, but it is in serious need of some simple and more complex maintenance. Some examples: there were cobwebs in the corners of several of the bedrooms and the ceiling fans had visible layers of dust. There are mice: we left food out on the kitchen counter, and the next morning it had been chewed through and there were mice droppings all over the kitchen counter. Finally, the carpet in the living room is pretty gross looking. Our stay was pleasant enough once we learned to keep all of our food in the fridge so as to keep it away from the mice, but I wouldn't say we received the value that we were expecting given the cost of our stay.

Cabin Rental

Had a great stay at this location. GPS did not correspond with address listed on Anthony Rd, but I figured it out. Great place!
