Welcome to “Island Time”! This professionally decorated condominium will ensure you achieve “Beach Nirvana Mode”. You will have some of the best views of the Gulf of Mexico in Port Aransas from almost anywhere you are inside your unit. Take a walk down our board walk and into the sand for a closer look, enjoy the surf, create beautiful memories with the entire family hanging out at the beach.

Enjoy the beach color palette of blues, grays, and greens with wooden accents to really feel the beach life. A school of fish swim playfully along the living room wall, inviting you to your vacation dreams. The open floor plan is airy, a wall of sliding glass doors ensures your view of the ocean is never blocked, and the cozy living room has plenty of seating to relax and enjoy that view. Step out onto the private balcony for breakfast or dinner with a sea breeze. The beautiful updated kitchen has everything included to enjoy your stay. The modern dining table seats 6 and the island has 4 bar stools.

The entry bedroom has a queen-sized bed and TV. The master bedroom has two queens and a bathroom with double sinks, with enough space for everyone to be comfortable.


Unit includes: Washer and dryer access, and a keurig coffee maker.
​​​​​​​Amenities include: Free Wireless Internet (WiFi), Cable TV, coin operated on-site laundry, pool, hot tub, BBQ pits, and fish house. Indoor game room features an indoor shuffleboard, board games and a 42 in. TV.

This condo provided the perfect get away. It was preciously decorated, had all of the necessities for cooking in, and was the perfect location for easy beach access with amazing sunrise and sunset views. We plan to return.

Extremely clean condo right on the beach

This was probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. The condo has been nicely updated and is about as close to the beach as you can possibly get on the island. Close enough to all the downtown entertainment on the island, but just far enough away for peace and quiet. We pretty much had the beach front to ourselves while we were there. Highly recommend this location for a nice quiet get away.

Great stay!

Great stay! Great property. Excellent location. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. Well-appointed unit. Had everything we needed and then some. Only two disappointments. The bed in the second bedroom is really squeeky!! Really needs an adjustment. And the bedroom closest to beach needs a ceiling fan as the AC unit doesn’t really cool it properly. But otherwise the unit was lovely and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you!!

Wonderful Condo and Property

Gulf Shores Condominiums is an outstanding location, property and proximity to the beach. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The view is incredible with the wall to wall floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors. Beautiful and clean beach conditions, pretty water, and gulf breezes from 5th floor balcony. The condo unit is very pretty, updated, and suited our needs wonderfully. The only complaint we have is the living room sofas are not comfortable and need to be replaced. The seat/cushions are shot so when you sit you sink down into the frame and its not comfortable and very hard to get up. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much! Looking forward to going back.

Beach vacation

The location and view are the highlights of this property. We enjoyed the beach access, but a few things could be improved: * The booking process was duplicated as gulf shores manages the booking separately from vrbo. They have their own website. Expect 2 additional forms to fill. * Kitchen essentials (salt/oil) were not provided, and pans had heavily scratched non-stick coating. * The gameroom is open only during office hours, making it impossible to use in the evening. The office also closed unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon.

The Best Beach Views

505 at Gulf Shores was all that and more for my family. We needed a quick getaway to the ocean and this condo offered that and more. The property was super clean and ready when we arrived. Beautifully decorated condo. When you walk in the view takes your breath away. We enjoyed the balcony with our coffee in the morning and evening drinks. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat. We got MeBlue concierge to set up our beach canopy and chairs for the beach. The boardwalk has showers and hoses to rinse off the sand. The pool was very nice as well. Our daughter slept well in the extra bedroom and we enjoyed our “bedroom area” with the double queens by the ocean view. The check-in process and property managers were so kind and helpful. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms do not work well, but we didn’t mind it. All kitchen supplies for cooking are there if you need them, excluding spices or pantry items so bring your own. Places to eat aren’t too far but be prepared to drive for food or cook your own. If you open the doors to the balcony it will get humid and fog up mirrors in the bathroom, just FYI. Overall we are happy we were able to book 505 at Gulf Shores last minute. It was well worth it! Thank you.

Nicely redone condo! Very comfortable for 2-3 people. Has everything one would need for a beach vacay. Only suggestion would be installing a ceiling fan in the larger bedroom by the balcony. Other than that I loved staying here!

Island Beauty

This property was accurately represented on the VRBO website, with lovely decor and stunning views of the Gulf, with large windows spanning one whole wall . The unit was immaculate, including all surfaces, the upholstered furniture, lap blankets, deck furniture, etc. The boardwalk to the beach is just a short walk, and you're there! Throughout the booking and check-in process, the property managers were very responsive, and we experienced absolutely no snafus. All of this added up to a much-needed respite from the past year. Thank you to the Gulf Shores' staff who made our trip enjoyable!

Perfect Location for Quiet Beach Trip

The condo appears exactly as the pictures and clearly underwent a thoughtful renovation with comfort in mind. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make family meals, and the unit contains plenty of comfy spaces and outdoor seating to enjoy quality time with your family and the direct view of the Gulf. The beach access is unparalleled, and we were pleasantly surprised to see only a handful of other families in the beach, perhaps because we were there mid-week after school started in Texas. We experienced only two issues that tainted our stay, one minor and one major: 1. The front bedroom, near the door, has an abnormally squeaky bed, as mentioned on a previous review. You literally can’t adjust in the bed without feeling the entire thing shake and make a noise that can be heard throughout the condo. This was an issue because, besides being weird, we had my toddler sleeping in a pack-n-play there. Although she’s normally a deep sleeper, the bed woke her up throughout the night and eventually for good at five am....which made for two very long days. 2. The bigger issue was the rude, uncommunicative woman working the front desk upon our arrival and departure. Her disposition was aggressively unfriendly, and she simply stared blankly at me with a look of annoyance when I asked her questions. Once in the unit, I called down several times - knowing she was sitting there - to ask about WiFi. She never answered the phone. We unexpectedly needed to leave a day early due to a death in my immediate family, so I sent an email early in the morning asking whether it was possible to be refunded for that night given the circumstances - which we assumed it wouldn’t be - and what we should do with the keys. Hours went by with no response. As we walked back and forth in front of the office, we watched her sleeping at her computer. So when it was finally time to leave, I stopped over with the keys, told her I sent an email and was frustrated by not getting a response, and she just said “I never saw an email” and smiled when I asked about a refund. Again, we didn’t expect that to be possible, but we did expect a professional response which is something she never gave us during any exchange over the course of our visit. The condo itself is stunning and worth visiting again, but we definitely recommend taking measures to avoid Gulf Shores employees as much as possible.
