Updated Villa near BHI Club - Reduced Spring Rates Through May


Escape to Villa 40, located directly across from South Beach, where you can relax to the sound of crashing waves and the scent of salty air.

This recently renovated villa (2020, refreshed in 2024) offers an open floor plan with panoramic lagoon views and a peek of the ocean. With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, it’s perfect for your family getaway.

The living area is designed for comfort, features a queen-size sleeper sofa, two plush recliners, a fresh color palette, and a 65” Smart TV. The updated kitchen, complete with granite countertops and quality appliances, is fully stocked for home-cooked meals.

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower, and a 55” Smart TV. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, connecting bathroom, and a 55” Smart TV. The loft bedroom also has a queen bed, a private bath, and its own balcony with sunset views.

Villa 40 is ideal for outdoor fun. Enjoy the grill, relax in Adirondack chairs, or take a nap on the swinging bed under the deck.

Two golf carts, a four-seater and a six-seater ( are provided for island transportation. Beach towels are included, along with a highchair and pack 'n play for families with young children.

Bald Head Island Club "lifestyle" membership is available for separate purchase.

If you're bringing a dog, there’s a $300 non-refundable pet fee.

Two video cameras monitors the garage area. Footage remains private and in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas.

Beautiful property, with an amazing view all around. From the booking process, to check-in, during the stay, through check-out, the host was very helpful and informative. They made the process so easy to navigate. The home was very clean and all amenities you would need were provided. The 2 golf carts were an added plus and worked out well. We will be returning!

There were 4 of us for 4 days. The weather didn’t cooperate as expected, however the island did not disappoint. The golf carts were great for exploring the island. Lots of walking & hiking was done instead of beach time. Your home had all necessities, was bright & cheery & excellent contact with host. All questions answered in timely manner. We were appreciative of the cart for check out as well. Definitely a place for a repeat! Thank you Edie & Katie!

Katie and Edie were absolutely wonderful hosts! They were incredibly responsive and accommodating from start to finish, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Anytime we had a question, they replied quickly and were genuinely helpful and kind.The villa itself was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was clear that Katie and Edie put a lot of care into making sure their guests feel at home. The space was well stocked, thoughtfully prepared, and just an easy place to settle in and enjoy.The location of the villa was amazing—perfectly situated and convenient to everything we wanted to do, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. It really made the trip even more enjoyable.We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. We would definitely rent from Katie and Edie again and highly recommend their villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Property was as described and hosts were very responsive. There were no issues and little need to contact the hosts. We would stay again, great location close to BHI club and several beach accesses. Golf carts were in great shape, some members of our family stayed elsewhere, and their carts had issues and hosts were reluctant to have them repaired. Having 2 carts was a plus for us (one 6 seater and one 4).

Wonderful vacation for a family of 4

We have a 3 and 5 year old and this place was perfect. It had everything we needed plus it was super clean and comfortable. The location was great…walkable to both beach and BHI club pool. The pool passes were worth every penny (kids 5 and under are free). We paid extra to bring our dog and he had a blast (just be careful with gators). I’m looking forward to booking next summer!

Great villa next to BHI club

Villa is in a great location to the beach and BHI club. Plenty of room for 2 adults and teenagers to spread out. The outdoor space was great too. Edie and Katie helpful and easy to work with on the booking and communication during our stay. Definitely recommend villa 40.
