Pitman Pointe Estate is a privately owned, 4,400 sq ft lake house that is perfect for large groups. 7 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1 half bath, living room, kitchen, dining room, and party room. 6 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. 1 bedroom with pull-out couch. Full kitchen, including dishwasher. There is a large wrap-around porch with deck chairs and view of the lake. Gas grill and washer/dryer are included for use by guests. Wi-Fi included and two 50” tv’s with Roku. As a guest you will also have full access to the private boat dock, swimming pool, sport courts, shelter house, and other amenities located next door at Villager Resort. This is a kid-friendly place!

Room to roam

Had great time. Room for everyone to be together or have privacy if you wanted. Great pots and pan selection and plenty of glasses, plates etc.

My family and I (5 adults and 4 children) came for a mini vacation. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the property! It was clean and stocked with everything that we could possibly have needed. Everyone had their own bedroom, including the children. The location is great, central to everything for Lake Cumberland. Walking distance to the pool (which we used) and the boat dock. The game room was fun and there was plenty of room for family dining, game time or if you wanted some alone time. Pontoon rental was close by and we spent a day exploring the lake. We will definitely be returning!

Family Vacation in Burnside

The house was amazing. So large our family of 8 sometimes would get lost. The resort exceeded my expectations. A gem in the rough.

Family reunion at Pitman Point Estate

The property was large enough for our family and the room with the Air Hockey was enjoyed by the children. We could find no one to show us to the rental once we had arrived and no one was answering the phone number that was listed. A kind lady that lived in the area helped us find the rental. The refrigerator had to be cleaned before we could use it. I also wish that we had been informed about the many steps that were involved in getting to the dock because we had a family member in a leg brace, so we had to find another place to go inorder to enjoy the lake. Despite these few issues, we did enjoy our trip and having the opportunity to rent this property.

Big house plenty of room!

The inside of the house was very clean (except one bathroom tub) and the property manager was very responsive to our inquiries/needs. The one bathroom tub was cleaned immediately once we made them aware of the issue. The only negative points were the junk cars and overall condition of the adjacent property that shared the property's driveway and the rear patio couldn't be used due to excessive amount of flies due to location of the outdoor trash cans and the residual food/liquids spilled on the picnic table (prior to our arrival).

Endless Fun

Andy was excellent communicator, responding quickly to questions! The house was really spacious for our 19-person extended family. Our little kid, early risers were able to have fun in the game room without disturbing the rest of the house! That said, we weren’t at the house during the day very much! We fished, kayaked/paddleboarded, played pickleball, shot hoops, and swam. We were also able to rent a pontoon boat from the resort owners for an excellent rate! The dock isn’t recommended for swimming so having the paddleboard and kayak were important for us. The house is a short walk to the fun stuff. There is a $ tram to take down to the dock if needed. My mom just had a knee replacement and the crooked stairs between the tram and dock were too much for her, but we picked her up on the pontoon over by the marina. The residents were so kind! We had a few minor issues. The trash was overflowing when we arrived and wasn’t going to be picked up until the next day, so we had to empty it. That is probably more of an issue of the previous guests though, as it does say to take trash to dumpster if it is filled. Andy also said they are working to get trash pickup twice weekly. All in all, a great trip!

Beautiful area, amazing house!

Communication with manager was not desirable. Hard to get ahold of them and when they did come to help with some things needed they were rude. We were not allowed to have extra towels and wash rags. Extra bedding wasn’t available without asking manager. One shower was out of order without for knowledge of that. Trash with 18 people should have been dumped or communicating on that would have been nice. Hard to know where to check in.

Awesome for big family’s

This was a trip that we have been eagerly awaiting. My mom, dad, siblings, and grandkids have not been all together in 7 years. This house was perfect for all of us to spread out or be together. When the noise level was up and my husband retreated to our bedroom it was quiet! Adults were happy and so were kids. The house was well stocked . So happy with our stay and the memories made! Loved drinking my coffee on mornings looking at the lake!

Great place for a large group!

Communication was great; kitchen well stocked; the washer/dryer provided was so nice to have. Lots of room and space for our group of 16 which included 6 kids.

Family Vacation

This was the best location for my family. We had a large group with a few kids and there was always something around the house to do. More than enough space for them to play. If anyone needed to get away the rooms were so quiet with the doors shut you couldnt hear outside. Such a beautiful house. Looking forward to booking again.

Family Vacation for 20?

We loved staying at the White House! There was so much room, even with 20 people! We were able to be together, but we could also get away from each other. The house was clean well stocked with everything you might need. They even had a blender and crockpots. We have stayed at the Villager Resort last year and loved having access to the lake from their dock. The tram from the top of the hill was great for our older parents and anyone who didn’t want to walk the steps. Our only complaint would be that the dock and lower stairs are in need of some upkeep. We had a couple of falls and splinters this visit. We know that the host cannot control this, but we want others to be aware. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
