Enjoyed the property amenities especially the lakefront access and nights around the fire pit. Property was well stocked and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Of particular note is the breathtaking night sky. We’ve never seen so many stars!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mulroy Lodge! The house is designed really well to make the most of The Lake. It was fully stocked with everything that we needed which is rare in rentals. It was nice that we all had our own space for sleeping and the great room/kitchen area were perfect for group hangs. Being able to walk down one flight of stairs to get to the beach is amazing. The views were as good as it gets and the Petoskey stone hunting was ridiculous. As someone who's been collecting our state stones for decades this beach was the holy grail. We found so many that we stopped looking because it was too easy. Don't worry, we threw most of them back for the next guests to find! Marjorie was an excellent property manager to work with. She made sure that all of our needs were taken care of from start to finish. Mike was also fantastic. He patiently answered all of my questions and was a pleasure to coordinate with. We've rented many nice homes on Lake Michigan over the years and this was definitely one of the best experiences that we've ever had. Our only complaint is that we had to leave! Thanks to Marjorie and the Mulroy family for a wonderful vacation!

We love this home! This is the second time we’ve stayed there. It’s such a comfortable place. Every evening we spent on the beach, watching the sun set. The area is so nice with all kinds of things to do. We enjoyed a few state parks and also spent an evening at Pond Hill Farms. For the second time, the whole experience was just great!

The pictures don’t do it justice. This house was immaculately clean and furnished with incredible style! I love that it had two primary suites plus an additional full bathroom, so everyone in our family had their own space. The sound of the waves from the deck was so relaxing. The views were spectacular. I am on my sad that it’s already booked for the week we want next summer. Top notch all the way around! Loved it!!

We rent in the area every summer and sometimes periodically in the fall and winter and this is one of the best rentals we ever had. We knew the location would be good, but it really was just fantastic being tucked away from the main road but so close to Petoskey and Charlevoix. Quiet and really serene beach. And the cabin itself was really really nice. Clean and spacious. Loved it! Definitely planning on coming back.!

Amazing week!

We had an amazing time with family. We had space for everyone and really enjoyed the week inside and outside of the house. We cooked dinner outside over the fire, made s’mores, hunted for rocks, flew kites, and went to do lots of things they recommended to us! Great hosts and very responsive and excited to share their little slice of paradise with us! Amazing sunsets! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed and some extra.

What an amazing home to vacation in!!! It truly had everything we needed (the 3 showers was clutch) and was in the perfect location. We stayed here for a week with our two girls (2 and 7) and my sister and brother in law and their two girls (1 and 4). The street was perfect for scooter/walks, and the bike path off the street was perfect for runs with lake views! We loved being in the middle of Petosky and Charlevoix- it was so easy to visit the towns each day if we wanted to check out the beaches or stores. The adults loved being on the water to enjoy the sunrise and sunset everyday when the kids were sleeping! It was also soo helpful to have the paddle boards, kayak, lily pad to use at the house when our littles napped and the big kids could still play. We cannot say enough good things about this home and Marjorie who left us a freshly baked pie upon arrival and was there to help us with any question or need all week. What a gem- we will be back next summer!

A Piece of Pure Michigan

Gorgeous, well-maintained and appointed property just feet from the shores of Lake Michigan. This place is the perfect "home away from home" and will make you wish you had booked even more time away!Clean, well-stocked with everything you could possibly need/want, and a great location between Petoskey and Charlevoix. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds. Gas fireplace for those chilly Michigan days. If you plan on cooking, the oven and rangetop are the best I've ever used in a rental.Truly an unforgettable, memorable experience. Hope to return again! TYSM

Great second stay

This was our second stay at this property. Everything was perfect and you can’t beat the beautiful lake view and private beach area! We even had great weather to make use of the fire pit. Lots of space for me and 3 friends and a huge table for lots of board gaming. Definitely recommend this property!

Quiet beautiful setting

We loved the home and beautiful private outdoor area and beach. The home was extremely well appointed. We even saw shooting stars and the northern lights! We highly recommend and hope to return someday.

Great lakehouse up north

Great lakehouse with views, nice beach with decent amount of sand. Water is a bit rocky so bring water shoes. Water toys are provided. Deck is awesome, basement hang-out area is great while grilling. Location is nice between Charlevoix & Petoskey so you can get to either town quickly for dinner/whatever.

I had this trip planned for a year for our Mother's early 80th Birthday . From the moment we checked we felt special. Marjorie decorated the home for my Moms birthday, even made her Brownies ( very special touch) The owner could not of been more accommodating with his suggestions , exploring the area. Great golf course suggestions. We loved everything about this vacation home. It was perfect, great location, great Bike paths, love the area. Our neighbor Jeff shared his Kayaks and brought my Mother some beautiful flowers! Very nice surprise!. The home was very clean and we loved our own private beach area. We all agreed we would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great spot on the water

Clean, comfortable, and a perfect spot on Lake Michigan. Enjoyed the many local biking and walking trails, rock hunting, and a morning coffee with the lake sounds on the porch.

Wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for our family vacation to Charlevoix! The beach was gorgeous and it was close to both towns. The house had everything you could possibly need, and we were all comfortable.

Great beach front property

Great house right on Lake Michigan with excellent beach! The house had all of the essentials and then some. We felt right at home when we first walked through the door. The owners go above and beyond to ensure that your vacation is stress free and comfortable. The house is right in the middle of Charlevoix and Petoskey making it an ideal spot. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend this house. Our kids who are 5 and 3 loved the beach and the ping pong table. Plenty of things to do around the house in case there is a rainy day.

Fantastic getaway in beautiful Northern Michigan

The purpose of our trip was rock hunting but we enjoyed so much more at this location. The house was perfect for us and the walk out basement to the beach provided access anytime for our bountiful hunting therapy. The home is beautiful and the kitchen well equipped for eating in-even including a crockpot to keep soup warm and ready when we were. The communication with Marjorie and Mike was great. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. We had to go outside to see the sunset and it never disappointed. This home ranked number one of 15 for my sister and brother-in-law’s lodging for their first 15 of 50 Dates in 50 States. They both turn 50 this year. When we arrived the house had birthday decorations to help us celebrate. Great experience!
