Amazing pool w/water slide, basketball court, country living, house is dialed!

This amazing property sits on 5 acres, just 15 minutes from Redding. Has a full basketball/pickleball court, soccer/football field, fully lit wiffle ball field, bocce ball, horse shoes, archery, walking trail, fire pit area with hanging beds, and an amazing swimming pool with a grotto and waterslide. Sleeps 12 people with 2 Kings, 2 Queens, and 2 bunk bed sets. This is a shared property; the house is a completely separate home.
Home has two separate cooking areas and living spaces, perfect for separating groups if needed. Private hot tub for guests only! Everything is new and feels like you're at a resort.
Please note: As this is a shared property, we screen all requests to find families/groups for the best fit for our family and a great fit for our guests, as well. We want everyone who stays here to enjoy themselves to the fullest.
*Pool is not and cannot be heated. Swimming is only during summer and early fall (warm months)*
*We are required by Shasta County to charge a 10% rental tax*
*Outdoor security cameras on premise for security purposes. Happy to answer any questions relating to this.
*Owners will occasionally access garage (not accessible to guests) through a separate access point, but will do so during the day and will not interfere with guest stay.
*Batting cage is not available for guest use

Great Family Retreat

More than a beautiful place to lay our heads at night, this VBRO is a complete destination. We enjoyed the pool, the full size basketball court, ping pong table, corn hole, horse shoes, bocce ball, and still there was much more to do. We look forward to staying here again so we can enjoy a family waffle ball game in their SandLot. The property is amazing, the owners and manager are amazing.

Nice stay in the countryside

Interesting place with an eclectic flair. Beds were all comfy, including the bunks. Nice large living area for our family to gather. Takes a little while to find what switches go to what lights, but that's part of the fun! Hosts live in the main house next door, but you would never know anyone was there. Had a few visits from dogs and cat, but all are extremely friendly and chill.

Best location with the best host(s)

We stayed a long weekend at this property and it we were blown away by how incredible it was and how many things there are to do on the property. From wiggle ball, to basketball, to tennis, to the amazing pool…. I could go on. Very impressive property with suck friendly hosts, I can’t speak highly enough.

Outstanding family retreat

Beautiful guest house with lots of room and amazing outdoor spaces set up for family play time: tennis, basketball, cornhole, bocci ball, baseball, soccer and more. Excellent communication with the property manager. 4-stars on location only because cell service is sketchy. WiFi on the property is good. Overall a wonderful place for families to gather.

This is our second stay at the Edwardson farm. This is more of a resort vs home. Kids enjoy the pool, pickle court, wiffel ball and basketball court. Only wish there was one more bathroom.

Great place to gather

This is a wonderful property for friends and family to gather. They have it setup nicely for outdoor games and lots of place on the property to relax. We had 8 adults and 4 kids that fit all of us comfortably. They have 2 dogs and a cat that love to come visit and are very well mannered. This place does not disappoint. We will be back again one day.

Its beautiful. We loved taking breaks from the pool and playing wiffle ball,basketball, horseshoes, and many more activities. The owners home is adjacent to the rental. They had a couple really cool dogs and a cat that would come say hi.I would highly recommend for chill families that don't mind staying right next to the owners home. I could tell they are a nice, good family. I didn't see them the entire visit. So they definitely do their best to give the guests privacy. My 9 year old son said it was the best vacation rental ever. Our other eight guests also felt the same. This a really great place to get away with your family and kids.We will definitely be returning guests if its still available in the future.

Family Fun

Our family had a great vacation at the Edwardson farm. As other reviews have mentioned there are many outside amenities for sports related activities. During our trip there was record breaking heat in the area so we spent most of our time in the pool, with rock waterfalls and slide. The visiting dogs and cat (very calm and friendly) were fun for our kids. Cell service in the area is spotty depending on carrier, however the Wifi worked well. Holiday Market in Palo Cedro is only ten minutes away for any grocery needs. The Edwardsons were excellent hosts and very responsive to inquiries.

Weekend getaway

We decided to do a quick getaway and one of the first houses I clicked on was this one. The owner was extremely responsive and gave information about everything you could possibly need to know. The house literally had everything: Basketball court, tennis court, a place to play baseball lots of room to run around and not too mention an awesome pool with a rock to jump off of and a cool slide. Tons of seating outside as well. They did such an amazing job with decorating. There were plenty of beds, 2 full kitchens and a room upstairs with comfy couches and entertainment Center. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. It is a Super nice and chill family that own it. Honestly, I’m pretty harsh when I stay places especially hotels. This house was so clean!

Beautiful Property

The pictures do not do justice to this amazing property. It has anything you could possibly want to do outside. Pool was refreshing. Kids really enjoyed it. The downstairs of the home has 1 bathroom that is located inside the bedroom. That was somewhat of an annoyance because the people sleeping downstairs had to use that bathroom in the middle of the night. Upstairs only had 1 bathroom as well. Very nice theatre room with very comfy chairs that were tiered. Check in was a breeze. Jamie was very attentive to any questions we had. Very quick response time. Houses were right next door to each other and that may bother some people. Overall, the property was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay in this property although there were some key things that were not as described in the listing. The owners live only 30 feet away and you share the pool which does not allow for privacy. We could hear people talking and singing coming from next door. Their pets - 2 dogs and cats were very nice but kept coming into the house. The pool was pretty with the waterfall but it was only on the first day and once off the pool was very dirty. Trees around the pool drop leaves into the pool constantly and the pool is stained and has spider webs near the pool hot tub. The home was clean except for the upstairs bathroom has mold on the shower curtain and spider webs in the bedroom corners. I am not one to complain but had we known the owners live literally right next to this rental I would not have booked. Also there is a HUGE family portrait in the living space and godly signs and books throughout the home. Lastly the main dishwasher downstairs was broken so we had to hand wash most of the dishes.

Amazing amenities!

We had 11 people staying in the house, we spent most of our time in the pool. They have a bocce ball court, horse shoe pit, baseball field, tennis /basketball court, football/soccer field. Hanging beds around a fireplace. Truly spectacular place to stay.

Family Favorite!

We just spent 5 days at this amazing property. It was a hit with my sports minded family. It had everything our family loved .... horseshoes, cornhole, basketball, pickleball, a large Connect 4 game, shuffleboard, a baseball field (aptly named The Sandlot) and a small football field. The highlight was the amazing pool with grotto and slide. We had ages 18 months to 65 years and the house accommodated everyone very well. A short drive to Lake Shasta and the Shasta Caverns, as well as Palo Cedro and Redding. The visits from Skye the cat and Patriot the dog were also enjoyed by my pet loving grandkids. The property manager was very quick to respond to any of our requests. My family and I have been renting houses for quite a few years and they voted this one their favorite so far!

Had a blast

We had friends ranging from 18 years old to 65 years old and everyone loved it. Was the perfect setup for what we were doing. We will be definitely reserving this place for years to come. Thank you again for the great place!

Amazing property

This house/property is so lovely!! My sister & I stayed here for 4 nights with our kids over Spring Break. We all had a great time and enjoyed all that this property had to offer! Our kids spent a lot of time at the basketball/tennis/pickle ball court! The owners are very friendly and accommodating! Our kids had fun playing with their 6 year old twin boys! The pool was pretty chilly but the kids did jump in it! The property manager was quick to respond to anything that came up! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place! The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Only 2 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms. Great pool and slide. Skye, the resident kitty cat was very friendly, and the 2 tan kitties (we nicknamed Skinny Kitty and Shy Kitty) liked to visit and play at night. Only issue we had was the concrete around the pool was being refinished and hadn’t been completed. Which wouldn’t have been a problem, except for the flakes were coming off and were sharp. Very nice landscaping with lots of activities. We had fun playing tennis at the tennis court. Thanks for letting us stay at your property. We enjoyed our stay.

Such a great time!

The property the home sits on is a wonderful layout with plenty to explore. The house is very comfortable, and beautifully decorated! The house is a quick drive (15-20 min ) to anything you might need/want. The owners live right next door and were incredibly gracious hosts; they were very attentive to anything we might need, while also allowing us all the space we wanted. They really are a lovely family! My family and friends all had an excellent time staying at this home!

Family gathering

A great place for families to get together. Well furnished outdoor space, great pool, and good A/C for those HOT days. Basically two connected living spaces, upstairs and down. Connection runs through bunk bedroom, which is a bit awkward.. Very helpful property manager.
