I booked this house for myself and my family. I felt overall that the house was okay, but there were definitely some concerns that arose as the weekend went on.First, the sliding back door to the deck of one of the downstairs bedrooms locked, but didn’t shut all the way. So even though it was locked, you could open the door about an inch. I think it needs replaced. Another door needing replaced is the sliding screen door from the kitchen to the top deck. It had some rips/tears in it, and also doesn’t stay on the tracks whatsoever. The king bed upstairs had 2 box springs under the mattress. The 1 boxspring was completely broken, making the bed very lopsided. In that same bed, we noticed that the mattress pad cover had a blood stain & urine/bodily function liquid stains on it. We didn’t notice until check out because the sheets were covering. 2 of the keurig makers didn’t work- 1 needing cleaned, other needing a filter. 1 of the stove burners didn’t work either. Kitchen is fully stocked, but majority of pans need replaced- peeling Teflon.Some positives about this house was the location. It’s 4 mins away from the lake, bars, restaurants, and about 10 mins away from swallow falls. The house doesn’t have its own outdoor trash cans, but was in walking distance to the trash deposal making it super convenient to dispose of garbage. They provided plenty of towels and clean sheets. The deck was big with awesome new chairs. They also had tons of games to play.
